I called here looking for dried lavender to help with a problem I am having in my home with silverfish. Unfortunately, Julia Flowers doesn't sell dried plants, but they listened and they were curious about my problem and directed me to a local nursery to find what I needed. I haven't had any luck finding what I need, but they were the only store not to just say "no" and hang up, but actually tried to help me out. I really appreciated the great customer service and I will have to come here next time I am in need of a bouquet!

Made an order quite some time back for an anniversary. I ordered a beautiful bouquet of roses, chocolates and a teddy bear and I received hydrangeas and chocolate. Also hydrangeas are poisonous to cats so these flowers had to go straight into the garbage so safe to say my money was stolen by them and poor customer service.

We had asked for peony, she said she has them so we went with her. The arrangements got delivered to the funeral home. My mother-in-law went to the funeral and found her card on the small arrangement and NO peony. When I called to ask why no peony she said they were too small. She also said the cards were correct when she dropped them off. Then, she asked if she could send an arrangement to my mother-in-law to apologize for the mishap, we said sure and it was never sent. I texted multiple times. She had excuses each time then asked me to pay for a delivery charge to send them. Unbelievably poor customer service. I would never buy from here ever. You ask for something and get something cheaper and totally different.

Dealing with Sophia was absolutely one of the best experiences. She was eager to help me and accommodate my request and went out of her way to even get me chocolates to be added to my order. She was very patient and great to talk to. I definitely recommend her for any event you may have.

Ordered Birthday Flowers last week and they were beautiful! The arrangement was ready for pick up promptly and the service was very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely order flowers here again!

I was looking to get a casket spray for a family member's funeral, so I went to the Julia Flowers website and found one I liked at a decent price. We talked to the funeral home and they said that they would call Julia Flowers to set everything up. Unfortunately, the funeral home called us back and said that Julia Flowers informed them that if we wanted to have the casket spray that they had on their website, we would have to pay more than the price shown. They stated that they were unable to make it look like the picture online for the price they offered; because, it was Mother's Day weekend and the price of flowers had gone up. If we wanted it for the advertised price, the spray would have to be more sparse than the picture that they have on their website.

This is so confusing and frustrating, especially with the added stress of planning a funeral. Why would you show a picture of a casket spray on your website, with the advertised price, and then tell the customer that they need to pay more if they want it to look like the picture shown on the website? This makes absolutely no sense and is terrible customer service. They have certainly lost a potential and future customer.

Sophia's flowers for my sister's wedding this weekend were GORGEOUS! She took our crazy ideas and out them into a beautiful reality. Highly recommend her!

Mom absolutely loved hers when I decided to purchase some last night just because and they offered same day delivery, Sophia does a fantastic job of making the flowers look extremely presentable and I could not be more happy with them! Very busy as-well so I decided to get them delivered and the delivery driver was very kind and quick regardless of the weather conditions, will 100% recommend this shop to those I know! I cannot answer you here, so I'll edit my review as an answer. I was not mistaken, and I did place an order and at the Julia Flowers web-site and paid for it. But for some reason my order was not delivered. After having written a bad review here, I was suggested to contact Julia Flowers to clarify the details. Thus we had a conversation and the bouquet I initially ordered was finally prepared and delivered. Thus after all I say thank you to Julia Flowers, but be careful if you use web-site, probably try to double check things

I ordered flowers from Julia Flowers in Kitchener Ontario, and the flowers they choose for me was immaculate. I live in Brampton and the person it was going to live in Kitchener so I was not able to choose in person. The colours, arrangement was perfect since it was fir a male colleague. We’re pleased, and you did a FABULOUS job for my first time doing business with you.

Julia's Flowers has been there for me more than once! Most recently, I needed greens for my Christmas table setting. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted to do. As usual, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and took the time to give me suggestions (despite obviously being busy). They set me up with exactly what I needed to create a beautiful tablescape. They're a talented bunch that deliver top-notch service.

Quick backstory: For my dads birthday, I placed an order at another flower store (online) and what I paid for was clearly not what I got. I was upset because my dads surprise was ruined. We found Julia’s Flowers and the Owner (Sophia) was a true GEM! She saved the day by creating a BEAUTIFUL arrangement in less than 2 hours, and personally went out to get the chocolates and pleasantries to make the arrangement personable. When we entered the store, she greeted us with a warm welcome and wrapped the arrangement very nicely.

I'm going to preface this comprehensive review stating that prior to posting this I addressed the issues with Julia Flowers (Sophia) both by phone and in person, without resolution. I am going to also clarify that I am *NOT* looking for a refund (partially or otherwise), but was merely asking for an acknowledgement on what was delivered to be of poor quality and incorrect, and a apology for the inappropriate language used with my sister in law over the phone the morning of our wedding. Sophia neglected to do either (calling us all liars) and I find it necessary to share our experience in the hopes others are not disappointed on their wedding day.

We hired Julie Flowers to prepare the floral arrangements for our wedding on September 3rd. The total cost was around $3k, and a 50% deposit was provided up front. My now wife had followed up a few times by text to ask the status, but was provided with short 'its too early' responses. She did reach out the week prior, asking for payment in full due to her fiscal year end. We compromised and made payment in full with the agreement that we could view the two large (main) arrangements at her floral shop. They looked great (see attached photo) and we requested that our mothers have smaller versions of the large bouquets to which she confirmed she would make. She also showed the mens boutonnieres (in packages) and I was satisfied with the quality.

The morning of the wedding Sophia dropped the arrangements at our venue and left before we could see anything. A few of the bridesmaids had come down and quickly realized that not all the flowers were delivered and that the ones that were looked wilted and browning. My sister in law (3 of which were bridesmaids) called her immediately to come back and address them and to bring the remaining flowers. She was stern but respectful and was told at some point to 'blank off' and was hung up on.

For the mothers, two bouquets were provided that did not look anything like the large arrangements (see photo). Cake flowers were forgotten and she returned with what appeared to be whatever was at her shop (see photo). The water in some of the glassware didn't appear to be clean or changed (see photo)

I picked up the boutonnières at her floral shop (without any knowledge of what was unfolding at the venue) and my best man and I both noticed that the entire box of flowers looked well past their freshness. Almost like the floral fridge was too cold or stopped at some point. We took them anyway and all the guys went to the venue to get ready. The wedding coordinator and assistant helped us put on our boutonnières and 2 of them immediately broke away from the stem (the roses). They were browning and the girls had a struggle to put them on our lapels due to the stems being broken.

I spoke at length to Sophia, and not once did she take accountability for any of it. She blamed the wedding staff for breaking the flower stems on the boutonnieres, said the flowers were of the highest quality (they really weren't close to it, sorry), and that we got exactly what we ordered (we didn't). Additionally, she called my sister in law a liar for accusing her of foul language (when two other bridesmaids also corroborated the story), told me my mother in law approved the drop off (she didn't, I spoke to her right afterwards) and dismissed my concerns altogether. I am a small business owner too, and know that customer satisfaction and service is the lifeblood of any business. I did NOT take this review lightly, as I know many people may see this. However I really felt that something needed to be said.
Note: contrary to her below response, she never ONCE called me to have things resolved the day of the wedding. When pressed why, she said she didn't want to bother me. If we're her clients this makes no sense. And she hasn't addressed the order being incorrect and missing.

Five stars says it all! I won't go anywhere else!
Sophia has been looking after all of my decorating needs and floral arrangements for years now. She never disappoints! Her creativity goes above and beyond and is a pleasure to work with. I have always loved the look of this store whenever I passed by it. Always beautiful clothes, accessories, and purses in the display windows. One day I decided to go in and I ended up meeting Sophia the owner. What a lovely lady. I tried on a top and ended up ordering one in my size. Sophia's service was great in communicating when I should expect my top in. I rec'd a call from her when it arrived. The flower displays I have seen are exquisite. She greets everyone with a smile. I've been into her store a number of times after that and each time I left with a nice warm fuzzy feeling. Sophia also has open houses for Frank Lyman lines. I would highly recommend this store for beautiful clothes, accessories and amazing flowers. Any of the staff I have dealt with were really good. Number one customer service.

A funeral and a birthday. I wanted flowers for both but I was unsure of what I wanted so I went to the store. I was greeted with a big smile and friendly, understanding lady who made me feel like royalty. Hating all the traditional sympathy arrangements, she knew instinctively what I wanted. For the birthday, it was similar and then I spotted their jewellery selection. I picked 3 pieces of jewellry and it would be worked into the arrangement. This was around 11 30 AM and I returned at 2 PM to approve their creations for me before delivery. I was stunned. The funeral arrangement was unique just like my Aunt. Beautiful flowers, greens, textures, fragrances. The Birthday arrangement so sophisticated and modern appropriate for a 24 year old Goddaughter. The jewellery, included as part of the design and she was elated. Julia's flowers even checked the next day to see if I was satisfied and if the flowers were still fresh. The family took the funeral arrangement home and my Goddauther, well, next year Julia' Flowers will be my parnter for another surprise. Nothing but praise for service and product.

Julia Flowers is one of the bestest flower shop I’ve ever gone to in Kitchener. It was the bestest experience i can ever have of buying the flowers. The decoration was mind blowing. I recommend everyone to buy flowers for their near and dear ones from Julia Flowers.

I purchased the "Luxurious Lavender Bouquet" for my wife's birthday and it was an absolute disaster.
First, the delivery was sent on the wrong day! I ordered the day before her birthday and they sent them right away. The order clearly said it was for the next day.
Next, they apparently did not have any of the flowers or the vase that I ordered, so they called me, left a message on my phone and then sent whatever they wanted. Whats the point of having all these beautiful arrangements on the site to choose from if theyre just going to send whatever they happen to have?

This all cost me $140; wrong flowers.wrong vase.wrong day.
And no response to my email either.

I ordered flowers to send to someone in the hospital. The arrangement I chose had some flowers that couldn't go into the hospital so they called me to let me know and chose something that could. AMAZING customer service and I will definitely order from them again.

We had a very last minute request for my late grandfather. It was less than 24hrs and we also had to coordinate/order this outside of the province.

Within a phone call or 2, we had the exact piece to honour my grandfathers heavenly soul. The cross arrangement was made and delivered the next day.

Purchased a funeral wreath. Was disappointed it did not look the same. I paid extra fee for custom printed ribbon. But it was hand stitched in gold letters. The two line words blended into the flower, no one knew what was written. Just visualize, pink flowers and gold letters on the stage.

Not professionally done. The bottom pink ribbon was missing. (see photo). It is strongly recommended to request a photo before shipment. Website does say 100% satisfaction guarantee.

We recently purchased a premium bouquet for my parent's 50th anniversary through the website. What arrived was not exactly as we had expected due to some availability issues. Initially we were disappointed as this was a very special occasion but Sophia corrected the situation by delivering a completely new arrangement to my parents to make up for it. First time using this particular florist, i won't be using them again.

I understand they may have to swap some flowers but this is WAY too much of a change. I wanted a soft pastel colored bouquet and it's nothing like it.

This is one of the worst flower shops ever. They got two stars because their customer service was very nice and friendly but that's the only reason. They screwed up not once, not twice but 3 times. First apparently they are re-doing their website but they don't actually put that as a disclaimer on the web page. So my parents purchased a bouquet online. They were then called to say that is not the correct price. It's actually more money. (Seriously if you operate a web page you know how to put small disclaimers like prices may not be accurate or take your pricing off while you're working through it.) Strike number one. When they called to tell my parents that the price was different from the website. They actually called my number first asking for my dad and when I told them that this isnt his phone number they realized that they accidentally called the receiving phone number instead and ruin the surprise. I can understand maybe since I have a kitchener phone number and my parents live in toronto but with everything I just think they are so careless, Strike number 2. Finally the flower shop was told verbally over the phone as well as it was written instructions when they ordered online not to deliver before 3: 30 p.m. The person my mom spoke to assured her they wouldn't deliver before 330 and would definately call first. Well they delivered before 2: 30 p.m. And called after they delivered to say that they left my flowers with my neighbour who I don't know and is not home right now so I can't even collect my flowers to see them. THE WORST FLOWER SHOP EVER. I'm sure their Arrangement is nice, if I could actually see it but with all the headache and Hassle and the ruined surprise I wouldn't trust them.

The neighbours just brought over the flowers that are very nice but the message left to tell me they were at the neighbours told me the wrong address. And when they arrived the flowers barely had any water and the box was soaking wet to the point where the box wont stay together to hold the flowers. They almost fell through. WORST WORST WORST. Very nice arrangement though. It wont matter how nice a product is if you cant run a business properly you will fail.

I ordered for Valentine's day and was delivered as promised but the arrangement was completely different from what I selected. I understand minor changes might be necessary but how could you have gotten it that wrong. I am very disappointed.a few roses and a bunch of buds Julia? I had to take a picture of the actual arrangement and send it to her to show what she should have gotten.so between your actual arrangement and the picture.she's ok.however.she prefers the picture

My husband ordered me flowers for Valentines Day. Once received, it was completely different than what He asked for, I mean completely different. How do they go from discussing an arrangement with mostly roses posted on their website to getting only 4 roses and a few un-bloomed flowers. We will not be dealing with them again!

This is the second time I have used this company and I have also recommended it to others. Julia Flowers did excellent work on both occasions. They were careful to have all the right information and understand what it was I was looking for. The staff is very conscientious and genuinely desire to fulfill your expectations. The arrangement was late for the funeral no fault of the florist. However, the funeral home working with the florist quickly solved the mystery. The flowers arrived and were beyond my expectations. Glitches happen in life. What matters is the solution and for that I appreciate and respect Julia Flowers. I will use this florist for all future needs for this very reason.
