Great spot for authentic Korean food. Expect a queue as they are quite popular and seating is limited. The raw crab is definitely a highlight here; I would recommend at least ordering one serving of that to experience. The crab roe is extremely tasty, although it can be a little bit of a chore to break through some spiky parts of the shell. The seafood pancake is the best Korean version of the dish I've had. Great texture and very pronounced toppings. The pork bone soup is extremely rich, savoury and spicy! The pork itself is fall off the bone delicious. The seating is very spacious with plenty of room to move around. The servers are attentive and very quick to address any concerns you may have. Very satisfied with the experience overall!

Unfriendly service. After paying the bill and giving the tips, my friend and I were just drinking tea and chatting. There were only three tables open, no one waiting. But the staff kept trying to take away the teapot. After I stopped him twice, he FINALLY took it away at the third try. Both my friend and I were so disappointed and didn’t know why he was so desperate to have us out. Again there was no one waiting and other tables were still eating.

I went to Pinchman and the food was really good. It was the best Korean food restaurant in Toronto. There was a young woman and a man there. They seemed blunt at first, but they only said that the food was delicious and they expressed their gratitude. I thanked them for the delicious food. The crab and cheonggukjang.thick and spicy, can't be compared to other places! The place was quiet and tip-driven.
. ㅠ It takes 30 minutes, but I will go again. She also gave me gloves and scissors. Super lovely.

* I just went back again today. Today, the cheonggukjang was not fully dissolved and was lumpy, but I loosened it and ate it deliciously.
I didn't even touch the side dish, but last time and this time, they threw it all away right in front of my eyes. Hygiene and cleanliness get a perfect score!

Place is ok but not particularly outstanding. The batter on the sweet and sour pork is too thick so the chew is not very crispy. The spicy sauce crab seems quite expensive. 3 crabs for $22-$24 i can’t remember. You can get these little crabs for $4.99/lb in store, and 3 crabs is well less than a lb. So even with labour and time and profit, $20+ seems a bit much to in my opinion. Good side dishes tho and we refilled it 2x so thank you. Overall it’s fine to try.

Came here for the raw marinated crabs. Got the spicy one and loved it will have to come back and try the soy marinated crabs next time

Nice little Korean restaurant. Tried soy sauce raw crab and it’s a very strong crab/fishy flavour. The seafood pancake was really good - crispy and fluffy packed with squid - large size to share. All the banchan were great except for the kimchi which was mediocre.

If you ever decide to come to this restaurant I recommend the spicy marinated crab and the seafood soup. The service was good and friendly.

I stopped by Toronto for the purpose of traveling from California and was impressed by the taste.
It was a real Korean meal.
The side dishes were so delicious that I wondered if I had come to a skillful restaurant in Korea.live nearby If there is, I think I will stop by whenever I think of Korean food.

I have dined in and ordered takeout several times now and the food never disappoints! I always get the raw soy marinated crab and I find this is one of few places where the crab doesn’t taste as fishy as other places I’ve tried. The staff here are very friendly and a wonderful Korean spot for those looking for an authentic experience that supports English speakers!

Came here for the soy marinated raw crabs, stayed for the seafood pancake. First off, the raw crabs were delicious, they were intensely savoury and ocean-y, in the way marinaded ikura (salmon roe) is but much less fishy. Sadly, it was over $20 for two small crabs but since this is one of the few places in Toronto that serve this dish it’s definitely worth to try. The cold noodles were average, but tasty and refreshing nonetheless. What surprised me the most was the haemul pajeon (seafood pancake) - this one was THICK, crunchy on all surfaces and not just the edges, and absolutely filled with toppings with a good amount of seafood rather than just being 70% batter. At a standard Korean restaurant I feel like a haemul pajeon would just be the safe choice appetizer that’s added on as an extra item, but this one was one of the stars of the meal!

Service was good. The side dishes were great - really solid kimchi and potatoes were super sweet and sticky and delicious. Price is a little higher than average for standard Korean food, but the quality makes up for it. I’ll come again with a larger group of friends and try more things! Tip: come before 7: 30pm because the seats and parking fill up fast.

Came here for the raw marinated crabs and cold noodles and was NOT disappointed. Damn it’s so good and a little bit spicy, you just want to keep eating more.

Will definitely be back to try the raw crabs marinated in soy sauce!

Mainly came to try the marinated crab (GanJang GeJang), but tried a few other dishes as well, including: YukGaeJang (spicy beef with leak soup), HaeMul KalGukSu (noodle soup with seafood), BiBimBap, and TangSooYuk (sweet and sour pork). The marinated crab was worth a try, and JungSooNe is the only place in the Toronto offering marinated crab. It is a bit difficult to eat, I would definitely recommend asking for scissors. I enjoyed the YukGaeJang and would recommend this dish. The other dishes were decent, but you can get a better variation / version at other Korean restaurants.

Came here for friend's Bday dinner cuz of the marinated raw crabs, not bad but not great either (even supermarkets in Hawaii doing better than this), waited for almost 1/2 hour for a table, other food also so-so, not worth the wait & hefty prices they charged, service was kinda missing here with shortage of staff

Ordered through Uber, and got a stomach flu. Never going to order or visit the restaurant. (Ordered yangyeom and ganjang gaejang)

Freshness of crab: very fresh

I was thinking of only eating seasoned crab, but I also ordered soy sauce and ate it. The soy sauce crab is not fishy and full of eggs.
Seasoned gejang sauce. Crazy, really crazy Even the seasoned gejang has a lot of eggs It was fresh, so my mouth was so happy the whole time I ate it! I'm a regular crab restaurant here -!

Food was so tasty especially the raw marinated crab. It's a must get.

It was also convenient to have the service button to press per table.

The food is mediocre, we ordered hot pot with pork belly which was so disgusting. The soup was so spicy but they dont mention on the board. Slow service and the tall guys showed bad attitude to us when we was asking to refill. Everything was unsatisfied.

I recommend the raw crab which tastes very authentic, although pretty small in size. It tastes just like how it's made in Korea. The soondubu is a little strange, they drenched it with sesame oil and I could really only taste sesame. I personally do not like sesame oil too much so it was not very enjoyable (preferences). The side dishes are good. The seafood pancake is deep fried instead of panfried which is unconventional, but still good.

The service however was horrible. We had to ring the bell multiple times to get a single person's attention, and even when we made eye contact I had to ring again because they forgot. The servers were very busy as it was a full house and seemed like they were understaffed. It seemed difficult to pay attention to details, and after the server took my order she had to come back again to reconfirm my order. Also they did not give us the gloves to eat the crab with, even though we saw everyone else on the floor with plastic gloves, so make sure you always ask for gloves.

I don't think I will be returning to this location.

Their marinated crabs are so good, especially the spicy ones. Side dishes are also delicious, but their Korean hot pot and services are just so so.

Got quite busy here (almost full house) at 6pm Saturday with one server and what looked like the owner/manager, but still had very little delay. Was craving kimchi jjigae and it did not let down. Although its a rather simple dish, it really hit the spot for me. Comes with some of my favourite sides: sweet glazed potatoes, pickled beansprouts, seasoned fish cakes, and salty seaweed salad (not the japanese one).

Of course we came here for the viral raw crab! Service was really great and we were seated immediately. The soy sauce raw marinated crab has a very strong crab flavour and is absolutely delicious. Its not fishy per se, just a very strong crab flavour. The spicy raw marinated crab was very good as well however the spices overwhelm the flavour of the crab so you don’t get to really taste the crab. It was also very spicy so be careful! All in all, i would go back again!

Kelly served us, and she was amazing! She had a great sense of humour and was great at seeing our needs met.

The food was amazing. ESPECIALLY the kimchi. I'm not sure if I've had better kimchi anywhere (oh and it was homemade, of course).

We also had gamjatang. I've never had it before, but I will be having it in the future. So seriously delicious.

I'm a fan of the restaurant and will be back.

Came here for the soy sauce crab which is ok, I personally don't really like it because of the saltiness, but my friends like it. Other dishes are tasty and I quite like them.
