Super high quality work and professional. They were able to complete everything needed in the short amount of time I needed before my gym grand opening. I would highly recommend.

When it came time to change the flooring in our basement we went to the big box stores and purchased some vinyl click flooring. We took it home and started to lay it and it was horrible. It wouldn't stay together and I broke more pieces then I laid. I called Just Flooring Direct and Steve answered. He came to my house and told us exact what the problem was and how to fix it on our own. He also recommended a completely different type of vinyl floor that would last longer and look much better. Was the product a bit more money, yes, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. He was professional without being pushy in any way. He explained everything in a way I understood and went out of his way to make getting the product on my deadline happen. I will recommend him to everyone in the future.

I appreciated the very detailed quote provided; it made it very clear what you were paying for and what you could opt in and out of to save money if you wished. When costs were increased due to requests by me, Steve updated the detailed quote and provided additional information about those additional costs. There were supply chain issues that delayed the job, but Steve kept in touch and let me know what was happening. Excellent job!

Called for a carpet quote for my basement. Was absolutely amazing, considerate and unbelievably honest. He said he specialized in hard flooring so arranged a meeting with the carpet vender he uses. When I update my upstairs with hard flooring I will definitely use him as he has proven to be honest and upfront. Even though he didn't do work in my house, just based on my conversation with him and the integrity that was shown I will definitely use this company when I have hard flooring to be installed.

JFD just installed 1200 sq ft of new flooring in my home. My hardwood had been damaged from many years of young kids and dogs. I did not like the ceramic tile in the foyer, dining room and kitchen. For an open concept layout the mix of hardwood and ceramic tile left a ‘chopped up’ appearance with no flow from room to room. I wanted something that would look good, be easy to clean, be long wearing and add value to my home.

Steve recommended luxury vinyl flooring. I was surprised to learn it can be installed over the existing hardwood and ceramic tile; saving me the major expense and mess of removing the old flooring.

I was given samples in the colour range I was interested in and given lots of time to decide. Steve emailed me a very detailed quote including options for having his crew do the work to move furniture and appliances. Steve made sure I fully understood my options, the installation process & patiently answered all my questions. His crew did a great cleanup job both in my home and outside where his workshop trailer was set up. His trailer is great because it really cuts down on construction noise and mess. Most installers don’t use a workshop trailer.

Above all the positive aspects of hiring JFD there is nothing better than the years of experience and high end skill and attention to detailing Steve brings to the job. His pricing is fair for the quality of work he delivers. If I had gone with a ‘bargain priced company’ I know I would not have been happy with the end results.

We hired Steve to remove carpet and install hard wood flooring. He is unparalleled in his eye for detail. We have a log home which has large cedar posts. Steve notched around the post, made sure the floor was fitted underneath, to ensure a polished professional look. Since this room is our office and had no electrical outlet in the centre of the floor, we wanted to run an outlet to the post closest to the desk. Steve ran an electrical groove in the floor board beneathe the flooring and notched out the outlet on the post. My husband can do the electrical but his shift did not give him time to do this prior to the floor being installed. It is perfect! This was not a straight forward install, there were narrow places and small spaces and it all is fitted perfectly. The finish is in the detail and Steve exemplifies quality finish. We are very pleased that we chose Just Flooring Direct and are very happy with our floor!

I phoned Steve between Christmas and New Years a day before he was going on vacation to see if he could install laminate flooring in my master bedroom, it was a bit of an emergency situation for me. He doesn't work on Sunday, but made an exception and had the floor completed within 4 hours. Great job, great service, he cut his wood outside, put carpet on our hardwood floors and didn't even take a break. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
