Just Greek Restaurant

I went today for dinner to this restaurant with my daughter for mother's day and we were so disappointed in the quality of the food. We both had the souvlaki dinners and it came with rice and peas. The taste of the rice, peas and potatoes was not good at all! First of all it was all over cooked and it didn't taste good. We have been to many other Greek restaurants in the city and this was the worst we ever had! Really disappointing for a Greek restaurant and also the peas was not what is expected as a veggie side with Greek food, to us it seemed like a cheap way of preparing a Greek dinner dish. Also the Greek salad that it came with it didn't even have cucumbers which is suppose to come with and they only put one olive on the salad, like really, at least put 3 to 4 olives in a Greek salad that's the whole point of a Greek salad! I don't recommend this restaurant for Greek food, unfortunately I would never come back, not to my liking.

Very nice place. The food was delicious, and the ambience very nice. Portions are great. Very satisfying!

Great authentic Greek food. I went with a big group (around 9 friends) and they accommodated us with no problem. The service provided by the waitresses was perfect. They provide you with cold water and try to refill your cup often. Clean and safe bathrooms. Do not hesitate to go there and try their food, or only to have a drink with an important date.
Great job, keep it going that way!

Had a quick dinner here and the food is fresh and delicious. They don’t complicate things here and I love it. Prices are very fare as well. I’ll continue to come here when craving Greek food.

Came here with a large group (9 people). Food wasn't inherently bad, large portions, but some of the dishes were incorrect (potatoes instead of rice, fries instead of potatoes, etc). My chicken souvlaki meal had a bone in it and waitress gave weird vibes. All in all, for 3 people came out to $95 and American Express is NOT accepted. Not a bad place, but Jimmy the Greek will give you far better value, taste, and service.

Wow! I understand it’s the holidays but what a terrible experience. I ordered online at 5pm with a delivery service called Touch Bistro and the food never arrived. When I called the restaurant it is an answering machine. This isn’t good. Google said the restaurant was open, and the online delivery service took my order so I assumed my food was would arrive. If you are closed for the holidays have the courtesy of letting your customers know.

We have been there many times, and the service has always been very good, and the food, spectacular!

I don't know what happened to this place but it tastes like garbage. Last time I ordered the souvlaki tasted like rubber and I couldn't even eat it. When I called the place - some child answered the phone and said she couldn't do anything and hung up on me. I am shocked because this place actually used to be good.

Lol idk why these guys are so arrogant. No professionalism, no sorry, thanks, please and worthless service. Never coming here again.

If there would be 10 stars, this what we would gave. Just Greek restaurant has the best greek food. It is always fresh, tasty, and very addictive. Even their salads are very sooo good (and a salad it's just a salad, right?). Every time we went there, or orderd food from them (and we love their souvlaki), the food was fresh, very good cooked and sooo tasty. We love it, and we definitely recommended to everyone who wants to feel a greek rainbow on their mouth.

This is a place we tend to visit at least once a month. Great, fresh food and at good value. Saganaki, Greek salad, amazing grilled shrimp and a ton more to choose from. Opa!

The "Tiropita Dinner" was amazing for lunch today, both the Tiropita, sauce, and the salad it came with were fantastic. Perfect portions (at least what I ordered), great taste, and the prices were right. Looks popular for takeout too.

This was our favourite Greek restaurant in the neighbourhood for many years and continued to be even after we moved out of the neighbourhood. We always enjoyed their service, food and atmosphere. This evening when my wife went to go pick up our order it was ridiculous to see that two employees in the kitchen, who deal directly with food, were NOT wearing a mask AT ALL and that a bunch of others were not wearing theirs properly, including the manager who came to speak to her at the pick up counter. The only employee wearing her mask properly at the back was the young lady at the pick up counter. At the moment, wearing a mask in indoor places is still mandatory and to see that what used to be such a great restaurant is not following the current Covid 19 guidelines is very concerning and disgusting. If they are not following this simple guideline and bylaw it makes me think about what other guidelines are not being followed, that ensure a safe dining experience for their customers. Think twice about ordering and eating there if you are a Covid 19 conscious person, as they are not following proper guidelines. There are other great, safe and more clean places to order from in the neighbourhood. Nobody wants a side of Covid with their meal - do better Just Greek and don't be gross.

The food is NOT good. Ate 2 bites and left the entire plate. The waiter saw I did not eat it I told him I didn’t like it and he still left the food on my bill. As a server myself I was APPALLED.when someone doesn’t enjoy there food and doesn’t eat it it’s common sense to remove it off the bill.

The food is mediocre at best and you need to wait eons for it to arrive because according to the cooks, it takes 25 minutes to grill a marinated piece of chicken.really tell that to every other Greek restaurant on the planet. Also, VERY slow service (not the servers fault!) as the kitchen is SO SLOW and cannot keep up. Many items on the menu are not made fresh, as the moussaka arrives COLD, as if it had not been microwaved long enough (yes, it seemed to be microwaved). It was filled with tasteless odd tasting ground beef and had no eggplant and no bechamel sauce. I sent it back and the kitchen did not even try to then get me something else quicker. 30 minutes latter I was still waiting for a chicken souvlaki! I just gave up and asked for the bill. The ONLY good thing was an amazingly sweet server who seemed equally as exacerbated by the slow kitchen. The best thing about this place was this young guy who was so gracious and competent. He was way too good for JUST GREEK! Thanks to him only. This place has gone way down hill.

Ate here on Tuesday June 18 2019, food was incredible. The octopus dinner was perfection! Our server was wonderful and fun. Will come back many times!

After shopping on Bloor, I decided to go to Just Greek for dinner. I was by myself but felt comfortable sitting in a booth at the back. My server was great and the food was delicious. I paid my bill and included a 25% tip for the attentive server. I left and was approaching my car when one of the other people who worked there, yelled “Excuse me. I’ve been told that you didn’t settle your bill. ” I told him that I paid my server. He said that a couple of people told him that I didn’t pay. He asked me to go with him back to the restaurant. I started to go but then found my receipt that proved that I did pay and then I went back to my car. I now wish that I did go back into the restaurant to demand an apology from those who said I didn’t pay. I also feel that the person who confronted me about it should have checked with the server before he left the restaurant to find me. It ruined a lovely experience at the restaurant and I don’t think that I will go back.
