GREAT experience. Made online order and instead of having me go to two separate locations a staff member picked it up from the oshawa location so I only had to make one stop.

BLAKE from the warehouse was awesome. I was fully prepared to haul my big order of rugs to my car in a cart and he insisted to bring them to my car for me. It’s not every day you get above and beyond service, so thank you!

Terrible customer service.sat around for 20 minutes after letting an associate know i needed help, only to be ignored and left with no help.really needed a side table and dining table but i’ll be looking elsewhere

Went to a couple stores looking for mattresses until I came across Jysk. First time there, Blake was very helpful with our transaction and made it a more enjoyable experience. Answered all of our questions and made sure we get the best deal. I highly suggest shopping here for home appliances great quality and fair prices.

I called and had the pleasure of speaking with Courtney who went above and beyond to assist me while i asked about stock on a few items.

As a new mom to a 1 month old, the patience and kindness was really appreciated especially during the busy holiday season. Not having to dress up my baby to go to a store to see if an item was in stock really means a lot to me. Ive had a great experience even before stepping foot into the store and cannot wait to go tomorrow to purchase some items.

I have been to this store, just the one time. But it was an enjoyable experience because the workers knew a lot about anything in the store. If you keep looking you are bound to find other items you might need.

So, my girlfriend and I cam into the store yesterday and had NO idea what we were looking for, but just browsing. We decided to check out some tables and such, and Jacob let me use his measuring tape, and I gave it back, and asked again, like 2 or 3 times lol

Eventually we settled on a couch, and i was halfway through the financing process and changed my mind to pay it outright.this took some time, and we came in a half hour before closing, so if it were me i would have definately been frustrated in the situation i put him in.

Jacob was an awesome guy to work with, he was patient, and humerous, and made my fairly stressful shopping trip pretty fun, his custtomer service was impeccable. Definately a huge part of the reason i will be back!

Thank you to David for making sure our online order of the Livorno table (which has been out of stock for months) was processed and made available to us. You just don't see this level of customer service anymore and we are so thankful people like him and Mike (Store Manager, Scarborough) are still around to make shopping as easy as possible.

Purchased tv stand and matching coffee table. Super easy to follow instructions and put together! Products look great. Curbside pickup was easy and all staff wearing masks and following covid protocols.

Due to the Lockdown, things have not been easy for any of us in one way or another. We have all had to come out of our comfort zone. One thing for me was shopping online. I am the the type of person who is hands on and usually needs to see what I need before a purchase. The staff at JYSK in Whitby gave me that peace of mind. I won't go to deep into detail what I needed, but after I ordered and called ahead for Curbside Pick Up, I was very very impressed. Right from the phone call to the car drop off was an amazing experience. The politeness, fast service and proper measures were on point. The one thing that got me was the gratitude from the employees. The simple gestures of knowing we are all going through this together. Whenever I shop online now, I will check JYSK Whitby first. Thank You JYSK Whitby for your great service and I will be telling all my friends and Family about you guys. Thank You

These guys are absolutely amazing in their service! I called to see how long it would take for curbside pickup if I placed an order and they just took my order over the phone and had it ready within the hour! I’ve shopped them for years & it’s about time I gave them this review.

Today I am about to talk about the drive thru pick up for online orders. Haley, She is the best person, with the kbowledge of customer service anyone can have, she is polite, ambicious, helpful, problemsolving, etc.
I just can't explain what else she could do. I met her only for like 5 minutes but she made me feel like she will handle everything really well, and sge did. She is also polite when she picks up the call.

I have been visiting this store for a while. Customer service has been fantastic during COVID. Recently bought a number of items including some patio furniture. Excellent service! Dave and his team does a wonderful job. I will highly recommend to anyone to visit JYSK Whitby if you can. You will not be disappointed.

I made a significant purchase during the most recent lockdown, and I received the most attentive, professional customer service. They accommodated me during an awkward time (lockdown meant no in-store shopping), which allowed me to not only get the important items I needed, but I felt confident spending that kind of money. Dave bent over backwards to make sure I was 100% happy; he went above and beyond. I purchased a few pricy outdoor furniture sets plus accessories and weeks later, I am completely happy with my purchase and the experience, including the timely delivery Dave worked out for me. I recommend this location. The sales associates at the front were also lovely.

Jysk Whitby location hands down has the best customer service. With the stay-at-home order in place, I have had to stage a few properties last minute, and had to pick up certain home decor that had to be a specific look and colour. I didn't have the luxury to wait a few days for anything to be delivered. Then I called Jysk Whitby location, and I shopped their website, while on the phone with Jysk staff, Dave. He basically became my virtual personal shopper, making sure the items were the right shade of colour, right size, texture, etc. Orders were ready for pick up right away. The items were exactly what I needed. Also, I'd been looking online for a patio set, and out of nowhere, Dave called about a promotion they had on patio furnitures. I ended up purchasing two sets of patio furniture (conversation set and dining set)! I'm sure store sales have been impacted because of the lockdown, but JYSK is lucky to have amazing staff like Dave who will go above and beyond to generate revenue and meet/exceed customer satisfaction. Thank you Dave and staff! I wouldn't have been able to do my job without your help!

This is the only JYSK I would ever attend. I visited this store for the second time (June 2021) and both times walked out with great purchases. This time I met Dave and Sean, they were personable and most importantly worked with me to purchase a patio set within my budget. Dave ensured by the time the transaction was finished my patio set was out back waiting to be loaded into my vehicle. The two guys who packed the set into my vehicle were also amazing. The ladies at the front were so friendly and helpful also. ALL the staff I interacted with were phenomenal. Because of the amazing customer service I will always return to this location, even if it is just to say hello. Special thank you the Dave and Sean, I appreciate your help - I had the best experience.

I needed a softer sleep and my daughter needed a new bed. I was not sure how I was going to accomplish this but I knew I was not going over my budget. I was lucky enough to deal with their employee Caitlin (hope its spelt right). This person had nothing but patience and was willing to go over so many scenarios with my daughter and I. Trust me I was thorough. When I FINALLY made my decision, she went above and beyond and got me both of my items at a discounted price. I not only got exactly what I needed, I walk out with some money in my pocket. That was an exceptional experience. Thank You

Some cashiers and associates are very rude, especially if you are black person / or visible minority customer. Stay away but If you have to buy for them and you did not find another store for your item; watch out and double check your receipts before you leave the store, they will increase the prices without your knowledge.

August 12 1pm purchased a whole conversion set. The warehouse employee helped through the purchase up to the load in and everything was done very quick and all staff members were friendly and professional they know customer service out here.

I received exceptional customer service from Caitlin at the Whitby location. Before coming into the store she checked multiple items of inventory for me over the phone and put some patio furniture on reserve for me until later that day. Upon my arrival to the store I had changed my mind about the items I had put on reserve from the website. She went above and beyond to help me piece together a 5 piece polyratten patio set and she also assisted in completing the set with a patio umbrella. She had all of the items put on hold, once paid for to accommodate next day pick-up. Best customer service I've ever had while shopping at Jysk locations.

Terrible customer service. Men in the back for pick up yelled at me as oppose to politely explaining there was a line up. Woman on the phone seemed annoyed explaining the pick up process. Overall would not shop at this location again.

Terrible experience with customer service. Approached a cashier who was not busy and asked for pricing on something. She looked genuinely irritated that I asked her and then when I asked about multi-buy pricing, she said "I have no idea". I thought she was turning to ask someone else but nope, she went and helped another customer and left me standing there. Needless to say, I bought nothing and walked out.

The store is big, has a lot of products, the price is good. But the store is messy, was buying a sheet set, all sizes in the same bin, got a package, arrived home to notice that it was a duvet cover, again, very similar packages/same pattern, all mixed inside the same bin. Customer service is good though, I was able to exchange the wrong product just by taking it to the cashier.

I just want to let you know. This is very bad store. I bought a DUVET cover for 7 days and got home my wife open and try it. She said, it is small size. I called and bring it back for exchange a bigger size BUT they said NO because I opened the package even I do have a receipt. On the receipt said you can return or exchange within 45 days. How do I know, no one explain when I paid at the cashier? Think it twice when you come to this store? I do not think I will come back any more. Very POOR policy. No one I to explain to you in detail when you pay at the cash register the produsts you buy?

I will try to make this brief. Was at your Whitby store this evening and I went in looking for a bed. I went up to a desk were I saw a employee on the phone. I was waiting to speak to someone about the beds when I noticed that this man was getting yelled at over the phone. He stood there not saying a thing while this person was screaming at him. I could here the person on the phone from about 10 feet away. I just have to say that this man was very professional and even at the end told the women to have a great night. I would not have been so nice. After he was done I asked for help and he said not a problem. I asked about the call and he never said anything bad about that person just that it happens sometimes. Either way after I was talking to this man I noticed his name tag. His name was Mike. He answered all my questions with a smile on his face. I told Mike that I was on a budget and could not afford anything expensive. I was thinking that this was going to be like every other sales experience but to my surprise it was not. Mike did not try to push me to spend more money. He told me the beds that are in my price range and how they differ. I could not buy this evening but I can tell you that I will definitely be back to buy from Mike. He seems to be a very upfront and honest man. Hard to find good employees like that. Good job Jysk.

Very friendly and supportive people. I would like to mention the store manager Shawn who was very nice to us. Also, there were two other managers who helped us over the phone to get the incorrect package issue resolve. I recommend people to visit this store.

I just wanted to say that I was at the Whitby location on Sunday. I had a issue with some product I purchased. I went in and spoke to Mike the manager on duty. He was very helpful and took care of all my problems with no hassle at all. Was actually a good experience, usually if you have a issue some companies just don’t care after you have spent your money not with Jysk Whitby. I was so happy even though I had to go back and get replacements that I spent another $500. I will definitely be back to deal with Mike again. Thank you
