The staff at this store are lovely. I brought in my sewing machine yesterday. So frustrated I couldn’t get the foot back in place. They looked at it right away. Adjusted the foot. Put it back together. “No problem. There you go”. They were so helpful. I was very appreciative.

Knowledgeable staff and everyone was very helpful when I was buying a new sewing machine & servicing my serger. They know their stuff!

Recently bought a Janome SUV1108 from Sonya via email at KW Sewing Machines. The price was great and Sonya was so helpful when I asked her what machine would suit my needs. She was also very prompt which I really appreciated. She also recommended a great thread for me which was so helpful; in my haste to get a machine I completely forgot about thread! Can't wait to go back again in person.

I needed a sewing machine belt and these ladies here hopped on it and they found me one I have an old sewing machine. Even when the first one didn't work they right away exchanged it. There is no waiting like there was it at the other places. Thank you ladies use where my angels my heroes. I'd advise everybody to be going here for all their sewing machine needs. ️

Their curbside is good and convenient as well.

The staff are certainly knowledgeable and professional, but as a whole, I find this store to be "penny-pinching" and "nickel-and-diming" their customers. I purchased a sewing machine a few weeks ago, and was told that because Singer has gone "green" (i.e. Instruction manual is online only), the store has made printed copies, and "have to pass on that expense" to their customers. Really? For $6.00? Isn't that the cost of doing business, especially for a customer who purchased a brand new machine? Unacceptable in my opinion. They even removed the spool of thread from the machine before I bought it. Goodness - I don't charge my customers for the thread and other supplies I need. Lots of room for improvement here.

If I could give higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This store is wonderful and the staff is so bloody friendly and helpful and very resourceful. I had a nice chat with Sonya when I went in looking for a machine that would be good for a beginner like myself and she took the time to talk me through a few options even after she mentioned that they didn’t really have a lot of stock at the moment. Gave me her card and a brochure for the machine I’m interested in and sent me on my way with a smile. When I do purchase a machine, it will DEFINITELY be from these wonderful people.

There's a sewing machine shop in Frederick St mall that may be able to help if you're in a bind.thank you. I called them and spoke to a very rude lady. She was not interested in repairing but selling me a new machine.

My husband bought me a sewing machine from here for Mother's day. Unfortunately it was not what I had in mind.

When we brought the Elna machine back for a return, still in box, accompanied by receipt, we spoke with the owner who would not return it. He gloated "We've been in business for 40 years doing it this way" and asked "What, did you go buy a cheap machine from Walmart that would break on the first try? " He claimed he was very sorry, but the smugness in his tone suggested otherwise. He did not take a moment to hear me out, as soon as he saw us it was simply a no. There is no mention of their return policy on their hand written receipt, which I pointed out. He said that didn't matter, that it was on ther register - a tiny little sign on the register, which my husband did not notice.

So, if anyone would like a sewing machine, I've got one for sale. Brand new in box.

Edit: I was gifted an excellent condition second hand Janone machine, and have no use for exchange or store credit. Like many middle class families, I can not afford to be out $250. Yet here I am. So glad you made your buck off me.
