I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit. I had to wait for an excessive amount of time, four hours to be exact, before finally seeing a doctor. What made matters worse was that patients who arrived after me were being called in before me. This was a frustrating and unacceptable experience. I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and work towards improving the wait time and customer service for your future patients. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is real wrong place to try. 100 dollar for international patent is taken with no reason!

Hey, please don’t go to this clinic.

I had a fever and i went there at 3pm I thought i was lucky i went into the room at 3: 35pm. Clinic was not that busy. At 4 one lady came and check my temperature and told me to wait there. I waited till 5pm and it was there closing time so i went outside and asked the lady that “can i see a doctor”. She told me to wait again. But nobody came. I was so frustrated because i was waiting there for almost 3 hrs. When i went outside they were shocked to saw me and they asked how can we help you? … they said they were going to lock the clinic with me inside. They put the blame on the front desk girl.
Please go to any other clinic. KW clinic is the worst one.
If you don’t have any other options other than KW clinic please go in the morning so that they don’t lock you inside. I wish no patients get the experience that i had today.

If you want to waste your time this the best place, waited 3 hours to get in the room and they keep u waiting once you are in the room.
Have been in other places and have never ever been treated like this place, like Wait time and customer service. After waiting 4 hours I had to leave without getting treated.

Accidentally came to this place without checking its prior reviews, and I felt that those reviews are real and honest.

5 Stars well deserved i have been here in the Fairway location a few times and i always got the care i needed just pick your number you will get a call great staff and people who really care for you but avoid the KW in Victoria St it's horrible.

Some doctors are really good and actually ask questions about your symptoms and other health problems you are experiencing. But few doctors don’t even give you time to explain your problems. Waiting time is so long, sometimes you will have the tendency to walk out. Overall it’s a normal experience, with a lot of waiting.

First in Last to be seen, the place is a dive, dirty and untidy, cobwebs on the walls and doors

Its a walk in clinic so please don’t expect too much. The wait times are very high and apart from Dr Charko, there isn’t much to write about.
Still giving it a generous 2 stars because I have experienced worse

Waiting time was fine, staff was OK, but they don't do x-rays even though that's what their website says. I went out of my way to go to this clinic specifically for an x-ray. Massive waste of time.

Went there today, saw a Dr within 40 minutes, had X-rays done after 2.5 hours total.
Felt that was pretty good
Doc was courteous, professional
X-ray tech was good

I never chose to this clinic. It's a horrible place that we have to wait 2 hours in waiting room and after that 2 hrs In doctor's room also. There is no doctor available to attend us. Nobody giving answer to your question and service is brutal. They don't deserve to be a health care facility.

Not sure what other people are complaining about but this place staff was polite and friendly and speedy considering the amount of people. They said Monday and Friday are always busy but I believe I would have been longer at hospital

I been using this walk in and I been dealing with Dr S Charkow and he is a great doctor. He is understanding and a good listener. As well as Dr G Bhattacharya. I got him yesterday and it was my first time meeting him. He is a great doctor too. I felt heard and cared about. He uped my one medication 5 mg. And gave me 2 packs of inhalers for a bad smoker cough because I quit smoking a month ago but I am still struggling with the cough. He went above and beyond. He even encouraged me because I told him what i am going through but what i am doing for myself. He told me to come back in 2-4 weeks to tell him how the increased dose is working and how I feel with the inhalers.

I waited for 3 hours, and after that they put us in a room and waited for another 2 hours. So still you can visit the clinic but if you are completely free.

Hi there, you should come to this Clinic. My wife came a week ago and had a great experience. I just left having had one of my three sons here with sore throat. I’ll say this DR. Charkow is kind, efficient and competent. The clinic is clean, the staff are nice and the place runs efficiently. It a clinic, so you will have to wait, but I’d rather wait here than any other clinic I’ve been to in Ontario! They do stitches, wart removal and X-ray/ultrasound on-site and have a pharmacy. Feeling icky, come to KW Urgent Care, It’s where I’ll be coming from now on!

Unorganized. After a lengthy wait was told they dont treat chest psins, except it was my rib. Was redirected to the hospital without need.

This location is not run well or efficiently. They had us sit in the waiting room for a doctor 1.5hrs to tell us ex-rays were closed as opposed to telling us right away and using the room for people with issues they could address.

I got my number 12: 00 PM, waited 2 hrs to go in, and at 2: 15 PM i was walked in to a room, and i waited 2 hrs in the private room. The worst doctor's clinic ever. Stay away, and keep you kids away. Go to a real doctor not to some low life ballers who know nothing but, to waste time and read the script to anyone that comes in!

Inhumane staff, I could’ve died. Shame on all of you, for being terrible human beings. Im absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated today.

Awful service. No proper triage they just pick and choose who they want to see and if you say anything they threaten to not see you.

Receptionist is rude and condescending. She expects everyone to know how the system works and rolls her eyes when questions are asked.

Been sitting in the office for over an hour…. I just wanna take my nail remove and its brutal …. For the wait… you guys need to do better seriously… never seen doctors office so ridiculous… in my life

When the website says it's open and then you get there before closing time only to be told indifferently by a nurse that the doctor left for the day. Thanks.

Saw Dr Lee (spelling?). A little bit of a wait, but to be fair the place seemed very busy that day. Very willing to listen and helpful.

He didn't even listen to me my symptoms just sushed me away that u have chest infection.

The waiting time is so long. We went there around 1 pm. After waiting 3.5 hours. We asked to sit inside the room, there is another 25 minutes wait while waiting for the Dr.
Totally terrible experience.

URGENT CARE PROVIDES IMMEDIATE HEALTH SERVICES. MOST HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS REQUIRE APPOINTMENT BOOKINGS WHICH CAN TAKE WEEKS OR MONTHS. THIS IS A QUICK WAY TO ACCESS A DOCTOR. DR. CHARKOW IS AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR. STOP COMPLAINING.

I arrived at the clinic at 3: 50pm and was told registration was closed even though the clinic closes at 5pm and there were only 3 people in the waiting area. I was with my 2 year old son who had a fever. My 2 year old was refused care so the doctors could leave on time/early.

Only visit if you are out of all options such as appointment from Family Doctor is a week away or if you don't have a fam. Dr. Worst clinic and doctors. Not to mention the staff. Jail mates are better than this.

Arrived at 730 and was first in line. They opened the doors at 8: 04. Was registered first and taken to a room to wait for a doctor. It is now 8: 30 and I have yet to see a doctor. Some organization or urgency would have been appreciated concidering there were atleast 30 people waiting after me. There are much better walk in clinics in the region in my opinion.

Long wait times. Came before opening to avoid long wait times. I was the ninth person and was placed in the room waiting for the doctor for over an hour during which time I heard him visit other patients who were waiting after me. Terrible service for those who are in need.

Doctors are cooperating even if the patient visits as walk-in they cater to them though the waiting period sometimes is too much

I have had to visit this clinic multiple times lately for an ongoing medical issue. The wait times at the clinic can be long, but are still shorter than at other clinics I have been to. It is to be expected at a walk in clinic. On all of my visits the staff have been organized and trying to get patients through as quickly as possible. The staff are courteous. I have had better treatment here than at my previous family doctor’s office. Dr. Charkow is wonderful. He is friendly and helpful. He followed up with me to make sure I was getting appointments for the tests he requested despite this being a walk in clinic.

They were all so hard working and kind. The nurse who saw me was working tirelessly when it was my turn around 5 and she still had more to see.then the doctor, not sure what his name was, had also stayed way beyond closing hour because he called me personally after 7pm to follow up on a question a concern I had when I was in the clinic.
They were busy and there was a long wait but it was hard to find other clinics that are open and seeing patients in person during Covid, so the wait is understandable.

There was no doctor in today.they were getting paid to sit there and turn people away.on top of that they just stared at us, completely rude.not a clinic at all.

I went here three to four times. Everytime they have shortge of doctors. And everyone has to wait for so long just to see off the doctor. Literally, firstly wait in the lobby and then wait for your number as well as a long wait in the waiting room.really wastage of time. If you are coming here you need to keep your whole day free from workReally bad experience evrytime

Way too long waiting. You should have a whole day free if you want to see the doctor. They will send you to the room still you have to wait for hours for a doctor. Even then he will hear your problem properly and not interest to explain to you what is the reason. I don’t know why they have so many patients if you don’t have enough doctors to see them. Why are you wasting people’s precious time?

I have used this clinic for years and am normally ok with the wait but today I waited over 2 hours and most of that is people being prioritized and or pushing in with aditude and being allowed to by the front staff.
I can understand pushing someone very ill but pregnancy and a kid sniffing or my favorite was the women who took a number went for breakfast and came back 30 numbers later and was put through. They need to go back to a proper level of care there is simply no reason self intitled jerks should be allowed special service

I don’t recommend this place for skin problem. I got something like blain on my thumb and I told the doctor it is hurt when I press on it. The doctor still squeezed the area very strongly and said he was trying to get the liquid from it (and no liquid comes out actually). My thumb was so hurt and burn after he did that. And he did not know what is my problem. I’m not sure it is right to squeeze patient’s using fingernails (he wears gloves) but I’ll suggest avoid this place at least for skin problem

Waited 4 hours to be checked and get and X-ray recommendation on a Friday. X-ray was closed at 4.40pm (instead of 5pm) on Friday. Went in on Saturday after work at 2.15pm (instead of 3pm), only to find that they were closed. No answer over the phone. Seriously, why put up a time if unable to keep up? !

Expect around a 3-hour wait for a walk-in. My issue was relatively basic and was treated quickly to my content, but the wait time was brutal. If you have a more serious issue, Grand River Hospital might be quicker if you show up at the right time.

Worst experience ever. Waited for more than 2 hours only to hear that they can’t let me go because of not having a physical copy and they are closed after that so I just have to come tmrw. Just wasted my 2 hours for bloody nothing.

Wait time at front desk was 30 minutes and waiting in the consultation room number 4 for 90 minutes. I feel like they forgot that I was here and seems like there is no doctor here. There was pin drop silence and still the such a ridiculous wait time. First come, first serve does not exist here.

Going to this clinic since 2016. Dr Charkow is absolutely amazing person very kind and always has an open ear. Very professional and caring for your safe health. He definitely goes the extra mile. Hats off to all the staff your hard work and dedication truly shows. We are so proud what you give to are community. A very special thanks to all.

Waited 40 minutes JUST to check-in at the front desk.and then was told to go home. I was there to bring my 5 months old baby for strep throat (we know this because my other kid got it from daycare, and saw a doctor and got antibiotic for it). We were turned away today because my baby has a cough, which they deemed her as presumtive with covid, DEPSITE me as a parent having a covid NEGATIVE result done few days ago. The receptionist didn't care about that fact and sent us home. These walk-in clinics are part of the reasons why hospital ER departments are overloaded because you are sending away patients with non-urgent matters that should be seen in walk-in clinics instead.

The doctor and nurses were very nice and efficient. Doctor actually helped me and didn't just dismiss me like my other doctors. Not enough staff

Wait times are unacceptable but for most visits the doctor addressed my concerns and provided prescriptions/referrals on the first visit and not wasting time like my family doctor with virtual appointments.

Avoid Dr Chand. Time waster. 3 hours waiting in the back for this guy to give a 4 minute talk and then talked more about his own self than I was able to about my problems. Filled my std papers entirely wrong and claim was denied. Now fighting for my job and claim. Cut me off while, after asking about my back pain and what caused it, saying he didn't need a life story or something to that regard.

Kind doctors and staff. They do their best. You have to wait a little bit for your turn. Clean rooms and hallways.

I had a clogged ear from massive wax and had this awesome nurse and very friendly remove the wax and was able to hear perfect again, would recommend to go here

I started coming here in October 2020 to get all my immunizations and tests done for my College feild placement. The staff have been so incredibly helpful and very kind. The doctors I have talked to have been knowledgable and relevant. The wait time has been fair, 10 minutes- a couple hours depending on the day of the week, volume of people and the time of day. (Pretty busy because of Covid-19 I presume.) They have been practicing social distancing and have hand sanitizer out.
Note: They do not do Covid-19 testing.

This place is absolute trash, I wish I had read these reviews before going to this clinic. Not only did the doctor send me home with a broken arm (due to misreading the x-ray apparently), he would ask me a question then interrupt me mid-sentence (presumably after he got the info he wanted). It was so bad that at one point as an experiment I just kept on talking, and he didn't miss a beat! We were both talking at the same time for like 10s. So surreal, not to mention insulting af. He also downplayed my concerns about an STI that was later positively diagnosed elsewhere. Honestly steer clear, they don't take you seriously and this can have actual health consequences.

Was there early. 9am.had a broken finger. Staff was pleasant and professional. Was there about an hour in total from admission to xray and diog. Doctor was excellent.

They are clean and precocious with the virus.
Parking free. Washroom clean.also x rays, blood care the same location.bus transportation is at front of the street.

Dr. Faud Elghamari is such a warm, compassionate person. He truly cares and treated me with a sense of urgency and support. I really can't say enough about his professionalism. He has even called me to make sure things were well. Thank you Dr. Faud for having such high integrity and concern for your patients, you are a true GEM!

Doctor wouldn’t listen to what I was trying to tell him and why I felt unwell. Doctor was rushing me and I waited for 2.5 hours to see him for him to rush me out the door in 5 mins. Not worth the visit

Worst treatment waiting for more than 1 hour now. Still no response from staff. Never ever visit this place. Disgusting staff. Useless. One place for X-Ray so they know people will come here taking advantage of this. Never visit this place telling you again.

Having recently moved from AB, and this being the only walk in clinic I have visited in ON yet, I am impressed with how polite & kind the receptionists was. The doctor was very difficult to understand. Also he was not very interested in how or when or why or where my issue was. He seemed very quick to give referral to multiple different tests and to a doctor to my specific issue. He didn't seem like a doctor really, more of a person to hand out referrals. The walls are not very well insulated, I could hear some other patient's diagnosis from another room. Clinic is on the older side.

This place is very busy. I was told that only one doctor is working hard to serve to all the patients. Despite the hassling, everybody working here is friendly, kind and always smiling when talking to the patients. Thank you for always refilling my medication!

Wrost clinic i ever been, waiting from last 3 hours still there. No check up held. Worst clinic, never ever come here.

The staff here are so patient and sweet. The doctor (Charkow) was so nice and upbeat. The place was BUSY and there was a very long 3-4 hour wait. This is made better by the patient staff who were helpful in letting me and others know how many people were ahead of us. There was only one doctor and everyone was clearly working so hard to see everyone in good time. We need to thank our health care professionals more often. Thank you team!

I went to the clinic this morning very sick. I insisted that the nice dr give me antibiotics. I am traveling very soon and I don't want to be more sick. Of course he refused to give me antibiotics because he thought it was viral infiction and not bacterial. I am still afraid to become more sick. But way to go. Please listen to your Dr.

Very thankful for Dr. Steve Charkow and staff, despite the clinic being standing room only and dealing with lots of grumpy people, they were patient, kind and cheerful. Dr. Charkow took time with me, listened and was very helpful, I didn't feel rushed or like another number like some clinics. It was worth the wait to be treated with care.

The wait times here are atrocious! Over 3 hours and STILL not seen. Not enough seating, not enough doctors.

I spent four hours here yesterday and though that may seem like a long time to wait it was expected seeing as there was one Dr on call. I would like to speak to my experience while there. The ladies at the front desk were kind and patient even though they did not get a break and it was non stop from the time I got there. The nurse that came in to see my son was funny and sweet and beyond amazing with him. He made him feel comfortable even though he was in pain and acted like we were the first patients that day. I would like to thank him for not only the great service but being a great role model to my son. The Dr was also equally as kind. Taking the time to look at my son. Talking to him as if he were a person and showing him that kindness is important. I can't imagine the intensity of the work environment and am very grateful to our health care system and all the wonderful people who choose to serve us so graciously and selflessly. Thank you for the experience and for being such great examples of what kindness looks like to my son. If you choose to go here you may need to wait, but you will be cared for and treated well. So take a moment and treat the people helping you with kindness as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope that you actually read these (we came in on Sunday).

Worst place ever. I was sick and went there just for a checkup, waited for 4 hours. Too much wait everytime, have more doctors or shut down your clinic.

The wait time is just too long. Longest wait I've ever had. My friend and I thought we would come here to ask for prescription and we had to wait over 3 hrs just for that. Never coming here again

Was there at 7.30 and waited with a good number of other people, maybe 20 or so. Was placed in a room inside of an hour which I thought wasn't too bad considering.
It was a further 2 hours before I saw anyone else come to the room. I really appreciate how busy it gets but 2 hours and no one even stopped in for a second to give an update is a little much.
Total time there that day was nearly 6 hours.

I have mixed feelings about this place because the doctors here are fantastic and do everything they can to help you but the wait times are just too much compared to other clinics in the city you will spend 2 hours here atleast compared to other places 30mins for whole visit.

After waiting for 90 mins in the waiting area which I guess is a normal I sat for another 90 min waiting for a doctor to show up.this place is a joke.all this trouble for a doctors note.sad state of affairs. God help kitchener walk in clinics.

DR. KORDISH AVOID AVOID THIS PLACE FOR YOU OWN GOOD. This is a prime example how the system does not work. BEST TO GO TO HOSPITAL
