One of the worst experience till date waited at least more than 2 hours then also he is not able to serve all members taste was below average I suggest if you have many members don’t go to this place.zero star for his service just don’t waste your holiday and money. This guy literally don’t understand the value of customers time that no one can invest 3 hours just for a meal so
I hope the owner will take this review in a positive way to solve the management issues to improve service ambiance and food quality in future.

It was not worth to wait for 2 hours. We bought 2 lamb shanks and 4 quaters along with rice but it was all very salty and too much portion of burnt lemon.

I've been there several times. The plates are delicious and come in good portions. The prices are very reasonable. The owner is kind and generous. I just expect the place to be in a better shape.

The food is great. They are severely understaffed, so expect delays. I ordered an hour ahead for 2 servings of their mandi platter and still had to wait for 40 mins after getting there. The waiting area is a mess full of dust. If you're too concerned about the cleanliness, avoid this place.

This is the best Kabsa Mandi I have tried in Toronto. Speak to the owner, he's a friendly guy. Order a mix of Lamb and Chicken Mandi Make sure to get his garlic yogurt chutney! It is delicious!

I experienced a delicious chicken mandi and really it was so good, will order it again for sure.

They are the most generous people I ever met.swear to God I just went to pick up uber eats order (I am under driver) and I just asking the front lady about the prices and with my uber eats which one I had to deliver to customer she gave me box of rice and chicken for free as I had pick up the orders so many times.

Ordered a varity of samosas. The bags were not labled, samosas were soaked in oil (some were even over done), and there was no flavor at all.

Very disappointing for the amount of money I spent.

5 stars is not even enough! This place needs a 10 on 5 stars! I in love with the food there! Best mandi ever and very generous portions! It's the owner and his family that mainly work there and they are all very welcoming and super sweet! This place is definetely worth the try! If you go once you will not regret and you will become addicted to it! You will dream of the food night and day! We drive all the way from montreal to eat there! Plus, he moved a few stores from the place he was at and it's now cleaner and looks nicer and more comfortable to sit and eat in!

Had two servings of chicken and lamb mandi last night and I could not be more satisfied! The lady was nice enough to wait to give an entra portion of rice and deliver to our car as we waited outside. The Lamb is super tender and it comes with sauces on the side. Couldn't be happier! We will definitely come back again

I've been craving for chicken kabsa rice for almost a year now. And YES, I found the perfect restaurant! Thank you so much Kabsa Mandi for putting much into it! I am really satisfied with what I ordered. And kudos to the delivery man, Muneer, you are so kind.

The lamb is perfect! The crew is nice and friendly. You can tell its a family business which makes me love this place more.

Only thing i noticed is that they don’t always open on time, so maybe come a bit after 5, around 6ish. Their mandi is amazing! The rice is spicy but you can put yogurt which calms it down. The lamb is the best thing about this place. Very tender and juicy. Perfectly cooked!

Had been looking around for some good mandi and chanced upon this cozy place. Tried the Lamb mandi here and it is delicious! The meat was cooked to perfection and the portion was generous too. The owner was kind enough to deliver it at no additional fee - extremely courteous and great service! Would absolutely recommend this place.

Never ever on time always late. And disrespectful. It wasn’t always about the food but it’s about the hospitality, and that’s one thing the owner don’t have! Shameful

Closed most of the time, I have to drive 32 min to the Resturant to find it closed. And above all every time i phone no body answers.
It’s really disappointing to ignore a customer calling! You just lost one!

This is a really great family restaurant. My wife is half-Yemeni so we go there a lot. There is a wonderful chaos to ordering. They will tell you what is fresh and available and just go with it.

Amazing food like no other! Prior to this place I had never liked eating mandi.but when I had it here for the first time in 2016 I’ve been a fan and it’s my Go to place when I’m hungry. The owner is a very nice person moreover a humble and excellent cook. Highly recommend it at any time any day!

It says here it's open, but it was closed. Drove all the way there for no reason. I think they are outta business but who knows.
A bad experience.

Amazing food at this mom and pop shop. We ordered the lamb and chicken dish and both meat was tender and flavorful. I've never had lamb cooked like this before and I loved it. Can't wait to come back! The owner gave us a free side dish of liver and it was so tender and fresh. Even my partner agreed and he's not a fan of liver.

Lamb mandi is great. Better than all the other Mandi restaurants I have tried. This place would get 5 stars just on food. 2 stars are missing because of its appearance. The restuarant not only needs a face lift but needs a staff boost to really reach it's TRUE potential. Great lamb mandi.beats everything the competition has to offer.

We went to this restaurant almost 3 months ago. The owner was there to cook and serve himself. I thanked the owner almost 4 times after eating because that is how delicious it was and that's how hospitable the owner was. I haven't eaten such good food for a very long time. I am looking forward to going once again. I can not say how good your experience would be, because the owner was there to make our food for us himself. Definitely go when he is there. Such a good man. Small restaurant, but that is what its supposed to be like. Such a gem on the danforth.

This place obviously knows how to serve their customers. Consistently with a nice approach. The food is fairly priced, always yummy and clean.

Used to have the best mandi in town. The quality has dropped a lot. And no fix schedule. You never know if its going to be open or not

This USED to be the ABSOLUTE BEST spot for traditional Yemenese Mandi.

Unfortunately there seems to have been a change in owners or Management, and the quality of food and service is less than satisfactory. The new man working there has a horrible personality. My husband and I shall not be returning there, unless the old owner and management return. However, as for now we will not recommend this place to anyone, and if it were possible to give negative stars I would give this place -1. This has been a big disappointment.

Went to this place because of all the good reviews but was highly disappointed. The chicken mandi was just dry baked chicken on average biryani rice. The food barely had any flavour and felt dry and not fresh. Also, it took 40 minutes to bring the food out even though me and my friend were the only customers there. And the server disappeared after bringing out the food until we had to yell to pay the bill. Would not recommend.

Exquisite meal in a home environment. I was simply blown away by the quality. Don't let the look fool you, quality of food is top notch, and plentiful. Would recommend to to everyone!

LOVED the food! Authentic Yemeni food with a feel good & friendly atmosphere. & very fair with the pricing.

Had two servings of Lamb Mandi through take out, and was blown away! The lamb was incredibly soft, and the rice was delicious. Way more than enough food for two people. I was very pleased with the meal, and would go back again.

Good Mandi but you have to call in 2 hours before to have Kabsa. Overall nice. Can fix the place up however a cozy setting.
