Kakushin Sushi

Got the classic chirashi don and ate it there as it was nice and quiet. Though the shop is small and more of a takeout place with no dine-in area there is a small counter top with 3 stools where you can eat. The owner is super nice, and we chatted for a bit. I didn’t realize that they have daily specials and missed out on the chirashi don with uni. I’m definitely going to have to go back and grab it next time.
Fish was fresh and the chirashi don was a good portion size.

Over 5 star for sure! Amazing experience. We turn our home to a sushi bar lol to enjoy this experience thank you Kakushin for all the wondering work.

Location is hard to find and very limited parking.
Server was very rude and not friendly.
Food was terrible and dry.
Avoid this location.

First time coming here and I'm definitely eat again. Fresh and delicious salmon and fantastic salad. Friendly customer service and chef.

Ordered the #401 and #407 and it was really fresh based on the texture of the fish.
Even more, they didn't have uni for the #401 set so was replacing it with toro. They got the Uni before I arrived and gave a portion for us to try, so amazing. Thank you, we'll come again.

I've visited many times and their team is just the best. They know what they are doing, they make it look very nice and also provide good quality seafood! They're also very friendly and also got to watch their chefs at work behind the counter.

I've had the chance to try the torched trio many times, that's my personal favourite, as well as the salmon Bundt style, Maui Poke bowl, and Lobster Poke Bowl. Thanks Candy and team! They're on all delivery platforms too, when I don't feel like driving, Uber Eats is a click away ️

Appreciated the creativity of their menu. Everything tasted fresh and the ingredients were paired well.

I have been to this plaza a million times and have never gone into this place. Awesome tray of food. I got the chopped up salmon, tuna, and white fish on a bed of rice. I dont know what the name of the dish was, but hands down id order it again

Definite 5 stars! Quality is excellent and the people who run this place are super friendly. Saw how fresh everything was and literally couldn't wait and ate in the parking lot.

Very disappointed, the tuna and wagyu had so much gristle (you can even see them in the picture!), they were inedible, not sure if the wagyu supposed to be torched? Other sushi and sashimi were mediocre or subpar, didn’t match up to the quality we would expect from the price we paid, they were $130. Given the high rating, it’s probably a one off incident…hopefully it doesn’t happen again to another customer, the customer service was great!

My friend order from this place last month and she said it’s alright but I still want to give it a try.

The menu is very limited so I ordered chili crab roll (4 pieces) - didn’t taste the chili and there is no lime.it just taste like regular soft shell crab roll… many other places taste better and provide more pieces with this price.

The gold rice cream cone … is an average Uni hand roll. Nothing special.

Lastly the US wagyu is like AA beef sushi. It’s chewy and even kaka AYCE taste better. I felt ripped off.

Both sushi and rolls are very fresh and delicious! Highly recommend for all sushi lovers and will definitely be back again soon

Tried the House Diamond Roll and was delicious! Eel is not something I eat all the time, but felt like trying something very different. Very impressed with the sushi. Fresh, went with the large but still ended up wanting more!

Don't usually bother writing reviews for every restaurant I go to but this place is quite unique and definitely worth a try for those looking for high quality sushi at a reasonable price. Presentation is great and I can tell a lot of attention has been placed on procurement of high quality ingredients. When attention is placed on the small things the end product will inevitably be great.

Today I visited this takeout sushi place for the 4th time and I decided to write a review. Food has been consistently delicious considering this a new place. Really like that they have cooked elements in their menu that give me and my friends other options. Good customer service. Fresh is the key. Highly recommended.
