Kal Tire

I was at this place on Nov. 15/23 around 12: 30. This place was very busy. I was in line and wait for 15 minutes. When it was my turn, served by a black service representative. I told him that I would like to have a quote for 4 Michelin winter tire and rims and installation package for Toyota Corolla cross hybrid 2023. He ask do I know the size? I told him I don't remember and can he put my car information to the system to show me all available parts that fit my car. He did not say yes or no then he asked me where do I park my car? I said in the front of the building! Where else can I park? Then he told me go outside and wait for him to show me the tire size! After 15 minutes of waiting outside I got the message and drove away!

The guy is ignorance and stupid. He thought that I don't have money to spend or what. I will never come back or suggested my friends to come to this place. Kaltire lost $2000 order from me to Canadian Tire. Such a pity heh?

If there could be 10 stars i would award to this place! I went in 7 days ago spoke with JP! I told him the tires I needed? I was actually looking for a different tire originally! He recommended a tire that was similar to the one I was looking for and saved me probably 1 K! Just top notch service! And his staff are just so accommodating, thanks again JP! ThThese

Took me in without an appointment to help with removal of screws in my tire. Was able to make my road trip thanks to their accommodations.

I had a slow leak in my tire that was super hard to find even my audi dealership threw up their hands in defeat. After troubleshooting the tire a few times at this kaltire, they called in the tire doctor - Matt. Matt with his stethoscope came in and miraculously found the hole. Although it was not patchable, they at least found it which was a relief. I ended up getting a new tire here. The best thing about this place as a new customer is that the people here are all friendly and are genuinely trying to help you out. It's their honesty and easy going nature that won me over. It's definitely my go to place for tires!

These guys saved me from buying new rims as my old mechanic did not mount my tires properly on rims that I bought on Kijiji. I was told from my old mechanic that the rims were bent after he installedthem for me. I went into Kal tire on 2403 Stansfield Rd and spoke to someone named Tom about purchasing new rims.
I told Tom that i just bought these rims and they looked fine and he said that his guys would take a look at the wheels. Tom's guys looked at the tires, took them off the rim and simply remounted them and rebalanced them and assured me that nothing was wrong with them. I wanted to thank the guys at Kal tire for their honesty.
They had also pointed out a huge problem with my upper control arm that could have caused a serious problem sooner rather than later. They sent me home with a piece of mind and money. The guys at Kal tire saved me money and future headaces with their honesty and quality serice. Definitely going there again. Thank you for your honesty and integrity. It definitely goes a long way.

I have been, attending Kal Tire since 2018 and only have; great experiences. When I need to purchase, new tires or have other work; completed. In the past, I have had nails; damage my tires.

Kal Tire always, tried to fix the tire or replace it; based on how much kilometers. Were accumulated, on the tire giving me; peace of mind.

Its a nice garage, I visited a few times nd best thing they try to provide the estimate nd issue details within first few mins of their inspections.

One of the best car care experiences I have had.friendly, knowledgeable, fast and at a great price. I came for new tires but I will be switching my maintenance needs to the Mississauga/Stanfield location.

Had my summer/winter tires changed there last spring and the winter tires were put in the hatchback - but it was not closed properly. Luckily a warning beep alerted me before I got on the highway, where a jolt could have opened the hatch and released the tires with catastrophic results.

Had bad experience in Kipling location when they used part time temporary crew and ruined my alignment using wrong jack points

Loved their prompt and courteous service. Got my Nokian all weather tires here. So far so good. Has done well this winter.

Absolutely Rip off, they were selling me used rim for 400 when a new one and better brand costs around 350.

Any tire problems help you may need this is the place to go, great group of guy's across the location, it's a standard training it seems.

I went to kal tire on Stanfield Road to remove my winter tires and install my all season tires. I have been coming here for many years. The staff is very friendly and professional. The service is excellent. I am impressed with their knowledge of recommending the tires that would best suit your vehicle.

Incredible service and great prices. I used to get my car serviced at Land Rover and was constantly being overcharged for service time. Kal tire is honest about their services and what your vehicle actually needs, there are no surprises when the bill comes. A big shout out to Chris and Matt who are always very helpful and have made my experience there great!

Had snow tires installed, but car pulled to side, went in they checked alignment it was ok, found my front snow had a bad interior belt changed front and rear tires and left with a bill not heard of before for the time and effort they took. It was really really reasonable. Thanks great job.

Called ahead with a stem/valve problem and was told it would be at least 2 hours to get to me which wasn’t a problem as I wasn’t in a rush. Upon arrival I checked in at the front desk and the gentleman called ‘T’ to tell him I was waiting for him so as to check in for commercial work, not retail. 25 minutes later T never showed so I asked them to tell him I’d returned to my truck. A further ten minutes and still no show from T so I bailed. There’s plenty of other commercial tire company’s in the area. I was happy to wait for the work to be done but that kind of ‘service’ is simply rude and unacceptable. I’ve had good service from Kal Tire in Calgary and Cambridge but I certainly won’t be returning to this location and will have to think seriously about using Kal Tire in the future.

Got a flat today and had my car towed to Kal Tire where I initially bought them. The tire wasn’t repairable since it was the sidewall but the tire itself wasn’t in stock at any of their locations. They were able to rush one from a provider and got my car back same day even with how busy they were. Super impressed with the service by the staff and will always keep going back to that location for any sets of tires I need. Highly recommend

They sell the Best winter and all weather tire brand Nokian. Hands down best winter grip I've had on a Mustang and my Subaru. Quick and safe environment during Covid

My truck tire stem split today, called Kal Tire and they quickly dispatched a service truck to my location. The technician's name was Param Kular, he was great. He worked quickly and resolved my issue and got me back on the road in no time. He was very skilled and his customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend, specifically if Param is your tech. Thank you

Had 2~3 additional visits to the shop since my first review and I had great experience every time.
Even during the pandemic, they were in operation as usual with government protocols in place in terms of physical distancing etc.
Got what I needed in timely manner in the midst of all this - very happy customer.

Extremely pleased and impressed with the service they offered me today.
Not only they installed my winters (already mounted on rim) at no cost, they inspected a leak concern I had and offered a free repair as well.
This type of service was not expected, and I have became an instant fan of this organization.
I have no doubt in my mind that I'll be doing all my future tire businesses with Kal Tire, and will recommend them to everyone I know.

4.5 stars. Very good tire shop. I bought a few sets of tires here over the years. The only place I know that can balance my truck wheels properly. However, nobody is perfect. I asked the tires to be rotated while installing new rims, but they rotated tires on one side only. They fixed it after I pointed it out. Also, while swaping the rims they used some valve caps from old rims (which were metal) and some from new rims (plastic), so I ended up having mixed valve caps on my wheels. Small thing but noticeable nonetheless. I had to change a couple of valve caps at home to make them all the same.

Great service had a slow leak in my tire. The service was excellent even during the Covid 19. I would recommend Kal Tire.

Stop calling my family and I to come in to swap our tires during covid-19. This is the last thing on our mind and you are harassing our family with your calls. We believe in stopping the spread while you guys seem to want to continue it. Truly disgusted and will not be back. #continuethespread

Once again I received exceptional service from Sean at the Stanfield location upon my visit in December, 2019. Sean expertly assessed the problem and solved it within a very quick turnaround time frame. I am so happy to have a brand new set of Nokian all season tires on my SUV. I purchased my winter tires and a pair of all season tires from this location at a fair price. The staff are friendly. I have been coming here for the past two years whenever there was a problem with the car tires and am very satisfied with their Customer Care Plan. Just yesterday, the pressure loss light came on for my car's front right tire. I brought my car to Kal Tire the next morning. They inspected all four wheels right away, pumped air and replaced the valve caps free of charge.

Fantastic first experience with Kal Tire! They were able to fit in a same day appointment for a flat tire, and also were able to plug and save the tire. Will definitely be back, thank you very much gents!

Had 2 of our trucks serviced here. Bought a set of snow tires and rims and a set of all terrain for our Ranger. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Some more informed and helpful than others. Arrived for our appointment and was in and out.

Kal tires has been my go to place to repair holes or get winter tires. The service is quick and the technicians are knowledgeable.

Edit 2019-12-03: Upgrading to 4 stars. Even though I was inconvenienced at first and had to book another appointment, the Kal team did a good job mounting and installing the wheels and tires. The staff was very friendly and double checked everything to make sure I was satisfied.

Original: Peter was great in suggesting tires, wheels and going through sizing and pricing with me, however I’m extremely disappointed by the “manager”. Outright refused to take my car because I was slightly late for my appointment even though they didn’t appear to be busy and there is a snow storm tomorrow. I even volunteered to wait as long as they wanted, but the “manager” would not accommodate. This is not how you do customer service. Would be one star, but added a star for Peter, who was very friendly.

Wanted to buy Michelin tires. Arrived 4: 15pm on Sat - online shows they close at 5pm.
Kal Tire was closed.
This location shows as only being till 5pm during week. No close hours posted for Sat on store front.

I have tried a few tires places around the city and this place just wins out. There is a reason why crapytire doesnt get fleets of trucks and cars. Kal tire does it right. Severice is fast and easy. They even have free coffee for the people in the waiting room. You can hear the guys joking around and having fun spinning on new tires. Great experience and will be back at a future date. Great place to do repairs shout out to Sean and Tom for helping me to do my car great all honest quotes which i like i highly recommend to do repairs, get new tires lots of different types for winter and summer. Thank you to the mechanics doing my car always be back

Tom is the best at KalTire. I used to go to the Kipling location and I changed locations when Tom moved to this location. He's the only person I trust with my Miata. He's conscientious, honest, and careful with my car. The whole staff is really friendly and professional - this is my favourite KalTire.

Brad the store manager and the staff always provide great service. I've been using Kal Tire for all my tyres and rims needs for the past 5 years with no issues.

I purchased the Fast Wheels Seven rims and Nokia WRG4 tires from Kal Tire Mississauga. Chris and team were great, good service and quick response to calls. Finding aftermarket rims for an '07 Buick is tough, but Chris helped me find a set similar to the ones I was looking for! If you're looking for Nokian tires, this is the place to go. Very happy with the tires and rims!

I was in today after picking up a screw in my tire. I told the staff of my brain injury and how hard it is for me to make the best choices.
The staff member i dealt with was great. In the end i did not get charged for them looking over my tires. The screw never made it through all the way.
Kal tires then set me up to come in for winter tires on their system as i wont remember.
I am very pleased with the service i got.
Staff again super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.

3 reasons why I will NEVER use this place EVER again

1- First time I went there to get my wheels road force balanced (they dont do this anymore FYI) they said it would be done in an hour took them almost 2.2- Second time I brought them brand new rims, brought them my old wheels with my tires on them. Needed to have the tires swapped over to the new rims and balanced. They took over 2 hours to do it, sent me home with the rims and as I went to put them on my car I notice NOT A SINGLE WHEEL HAD WHEEL WEIGHTS. They also Scratched my rim and admitted to it as well once I pointed it out to them. Then I had to drive all the way back and have them balance the wheels and then drive home and do it all over again.

I figured I would give them another shot (how bad can my luck really be)

3- Set up an appointment for first thing 7: 30am they said it would take just over an hour tops on the phone to do a safety on my car and reprogram the TPMS. Over and HOUR later at 8: 42 the guy comes to me and says Robbie I got some bad news. You car is lowered and can only get on one hoist and that's tied up right now so it's going to be a while longer before even start.

So wait, you have me sit here for over an hour to tell me that you need me to wait even longer? !? The car should have been getting worked on at 730 (that's why you make an appointment) thats when I should have been informed about the issue with my car being lowered. They did not even touch my car, didn't attempt to reprogram the TPMS, nothing.

Hands down the most consistently POOR, AWFUL service I have EVER experienced with anything in my life. They have legitimately wasted now 3-4 hours of my time.

I cannot convey how disappointed I am. This is a mockery of how to run a business. Good luck bringing your car here, you will need it.
