Kim Lee answered my call and could tell I was desperado. He told me to come right away and got me all sorted out. He quoted a fair price and was so kind about getting me back on the road as soon as possible.

I was in a rush to get back to Alberta in time for school, and they were able to give me an alignment and new tires ASAP. They were incredibly helpful and compassionate of my situation, and found some rebates and discounts to save me some cash. I am incredibly grateful for their hard work.

My morning started with an unexpected twist: a stubborn screw embedded in my tire. Though I was on my way to camp, the unexpected pit stop I made at Kaltire in North Bay proved to be a silver lining.

Even though I hadn't originally purchased my tires at this particular Kaltire location, they welcomed me with open arms. Their professional demeanor and prompt service were genuinely impressive. They quickly attended to my flat tire, ensuring it was repaired and ready to hit the road again.

But their service didn't stop at just fixing the immediate issue. When I returned to my jeep, I found they had gone the extra mile. They had taken the initiative to check and torque all my tires, spare included. It was heartening to see the dedication and attention to detail. And when they spotted an issue with my spare – something I hadn't even brought to their attention – they offered their expertise and fixed it on the spot.

In a world where genuine service is sometimes hard to find, Kaltire in North Bay stands out. They turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a memorable one.

This is the fourth time of come here with an appointment. Waiting for my tires to be changed for hours. If it happened once that’s fine. But every single time there’s some problem. Why make an appointment if you never get in at that time. This place does not care that they have waste your time. Why can’t they call you before you get here and say where 2 hours behind, come later or reschedule.

Badly scuffed back rim from tire change. Not impressed. (However they are still friendly, nice atmosphere.don’t let this discourage you. Accidents happen.)

Highly recommend! Great place. Started doing our tire switch overs twice a year here couple years ago. Always a busy place but for good reason. Staff is great, friendly and efficient. Best place in town.

Had a screw in my tire I called to make a appointment to remove it and was told " we arnt doing appointments and if your want one you'd have to wait 2 weeks? Or bringing in for the full day and we may or may not have a chance to do it. Nice Kal great customer service I use to go to you guys so glad I called another mechanic who got me in within a few hrs!

I took my jeep there for winter tires, easy ordering and let me book to get them put on in November in July. We're having some issues getting the valve stems to register the tire pressure. They've tried everything and now ordered new ones. Way above and beyond what I expected.

Highly recommend them and kim has awesome energy and friendly even when being pulled in a thousand directions at the same time. They will be my tire spot for as long as I need one.

Just wanted to say thank you to the employees that came out to assist us this past Saturday at the Petro pass store.
We switched trailers with another driver. While doing a proper pre-trip noticed many problems with the trailer.

We picked up a nail in our trailer tire somewhere north of North Bay on our way home to Southern Ontario. We made it to the Kal Tire yard on a Saturday and met Dwayne, who replaced the tire for us. Dwayne was professional, friendly and wasted no time getting us back on the road! Thanks Dwayne and Kal Tire for the fantastic emergency service!

Karl Tire has my business from now on. I am from out of town and found my tire was leaking air. The gentlemen at Kal tire were able to get me in right away and when a repair was not feasible they found me a tire at a great price so that we could travel home safe and without worry. Mounted two of my tires backwards then wanted me to leave the two wheels there's for a few days till they had time to fix their mistake. Great business model

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Their problem is scheduling. Prepare to -wait- a long time for your appointment. I have rarely spent less than 2 hours waiting for a 15 min tire change. I always have an appointment as well.

Expensive to get up on the lift. But a very trustable place to do business with, and always does great work.

My steel rims where a little expensive but the owner and his staff are very friendly and I would go back in the future

Excellent service everytime I come here. Great people. Always professional and done in a timely matter.

Have had good past experience but a poor recent experience. We asked for a quote for 5 tires mounted on rims (realize this is strange but it was to also replace the worn full size spare on a 2007 Rav4). Quote was provided, schedule was set. What was said was that the tires asked for were extremely rare and they would take some time to come in (who knew that one of the most popular small SUVs with stock rims had rare tires.). At the appointment it was confirmed that we were there for replacement of 5 tires. The appointment took longer then expected but in the end the invoice was for 4 tires and attempts to upsell were made (brakes, alignment.). The attendant tried to convince us that the spare was not the same size as the other tires and that this was confirmed by their mechanic. After an unnecessarily lengthy discussion and what seemed to be lie after lie, it was conceded that the mechanic made a mistake and that "they would fix it". We asked to have it fixed immediately but we were told that they had sold 3 sets of those "rare" tires that same day and didn't have any other in stock. In the end, the "fix" was a new appointment for which the totality of the charge was greater then what they originally quoted and they damage to the soft wheel cover for the spare (but its old and brittle anyway). If this "fix" ended up with payment equal to what was quoted everything would have been A-OK; but it wasn't. All in all, poor customer service, poor technical expertise, passing blame to others and poor workmanship in this particular case. Will think twice before going back.

This team is great. Professional, knowledgeable, great work ethic and fast. I never walk in without hearing someone saying hello. There are refreshments and a public washroom (super clean). I usually book online appointments and have never had any issues. There is a disclaimer on the website when booking that says to allow 90 minutes for the appointment. You never know when things may come up, but I haven't had to wait quite that long yet!

Kim Lee is the best! Drive from Sudbury just to see this guy. Knowledge, friendly, fast and great staff.

Had an appointment for 930am for a tire changeover. 1hour and 45 minutes later finally complete. Wow. Why did I make an appointment?

This Kal tire is my first choice For service on my personal and my work vehicle. The staff are also polite and friendly, and I like how efficient the service is. I’m really busy and it’s nice to know that my car is always ready on time and that they advise they give me is trustworthy.

Great service on brake line replacement for my Titan. Didn't have to replace the booster and master cylinder to get brake pressure like in the past at an other dealer.
Been going to Kal Tire for many years now and more so in the last few years since the new upgrade on the building and certified maintenance team. Walking away feeling like you've been cheated always turns customers away. I'll be back. You have a great team Kim Lee!
