Store Manager, Leon's service is impeccable. This location have gone through a few managers, they are all great but Leon just bring this up a notch. He always go above and beyond making sure all my cars wheels, alignment and storage are taken care of. Very flexible in accommodating in terms of scheduling and he doesn't sell you stuff that you don't need.

Very satisfied with the service provided. I took in my car on a Saturday morning and in less than couple of hours all tires have been replaced and alignment complete.
I recommend this establishment without any doubt.

I am so incredibly thankful that Ali Al-akraby is working at the Kal Tire near me. He has been such a great help, easy to deal with, honest guy and great personality! He has put me at ease by taking good care of my leaking tire. I got tires changed, installed, balanced and wheel alignment. No hassles, no worries. Price was reasonable. I just recently referred my family member there too. Thanks to Ali and Heissan for their quality service.

I needed to get some new tires on my vehicle, went to Kal Tire as I have been here a few times before and was happy with the service. Ali the assistant manager has done it again, I hope the company realizes what a gem they have working for them. His costumer service skills are on point and very personable. I brought my car the next day to be serviced and I believe the guys name was Alex-sorry if I got it wrong- he was also very helpful and professional.
This is one of the few places I feel comfortable going into as a female when it comes to car related issues. Way to go kal!

I'm really disappointed at the service I got at this location. Not only my "brand new" tires had manufacturing labels indicating they were already 3 years old (shame on my for not catching this until it was too late), but also they refused to give me the all season tires my car had on because they were "unsafe", when I have just purchased the car at a brand dealer as a certified vehicle, and the tires were inspected and deemed to be fine. I'll skip them for my next tire purchase.

Big shout out to Derek who took me in first thing in the morning and had me out within 45 mins. Slow leak caused by a screw. He was very friendly and to the point. The prices are extremely reasonable and the store is operated professionally. Highly recommend.

Without an appointment. No problem was discovered, and I was not charged. Makes me glad they have my back and I am happy that I have bought 2 sets of tires and a full brake job from these full service professionals. Awesome Job

I felt really good about the work done on my 2014 Nissan. I brought it in for a brake inspection after getting a quote from the dealership.
Gus, the mechanic showed me the brakes and what needed to be done. He was really easy to talk to and very helpful about other parts of the car.
He did not upsell, in fact the total opposite.
This is a great place for a woman to bring her car. Treat us well and we will come back.

Last Friday noon, I noticed one tire had a nail and tire pressure was low.
When I went to this place and told my problem, They replied they are busy and to come on Monday after booking a online appointment.
Went to another tire shop and repaired within 10 minutes.

Nice friendly stuff get you a decent appointment time but I'm not too sure about their mechanics I took my truck in for power steering leak to which they replace the pump after 9 hours waiting I go pick up my truck and it's louder than when it went in there now there's a scream coming up from under the hood don't know if it's a tensioner or the belt or whatever but I would like for them to address this right away they were paid good money to do this job I'm not very impressed at the moment with them so we'll see what they're like Monday I'll get back to all y'all

Easy to book your tire change appointment online, and I've stored my tires there for a couple of seasons. Just make sure you show up a little early for your appointment, because they do take walk-ins.

Showed up there freezing cold right the guy at the desk refused to help with air in the tires that were low

I moved to the area this year and was wondering where I will go for my seasonal tire swap. I've found the answer now. Just went here and I was very happy by how nice and professional everyone is.

It is priced well and the job was done within 40 minutes or so. (They will quote you 90 minutes just to be safe I guess)

The front desk staff Ash and the manager Emercio (I hope I remember their names correctly) were professional and courteous.

Overall I'm happy and I will go here for my tire and oil needs in the future.

I came to this place for tire change. They told me it couldn’t be done on the day I went because they have to order the tires, which was completely understandable. I asked if it can be done the next day before they close, the guy said yes and it will be done by end of the day.
I’ve waited all day and called the store twice (5: 20 and 5: 50pm) and they told me it will be done by end of the day.
I came after their store hours (06: 30pm) because nobody has contacted me. I peaked at the car, nothing was started. I spoke to the mechanic and said it will be done in 30mins.

I wish they could have been more professional and communicate with their customers effectively. I understand if the car was not ready at the end of the day, I could have made arrangements to get to work. But I was told
It would be done by end of the day and I trusted their words. I was late for work for an hour and this could have been prevented if they have told
Me from the beginning it wouldn’t be done by the end of the day.
Very poor communication.

UPDATE: Was contacted by manager and they were apologetic, and will learn from mistakes. The manager handled the situation very professionally despite of the incident.
Recommends this place for someone in the area looking for car maintenance.

Went in for a tire seasonal swap/ to storage them, associate called to tell me how bad my rear brakes/rotors were, also they took time to squeeze me in due to my crazy work schedule, so i didn't want to chance it, so i got them replaced. So I thank you for being honest (hard to find), working on my vehical as a squeeze in, and having it done by 5pm
You guys are great and I very much appreciate you having myself and my families safety first also, 5 min away and reasonably priced.

Went for in for an alignment, very friendly and helpful employees rather quick service. Way better prices than dealership and way more “legit” than the other questionable places on Kingston Road. Would definitely recommend.

Also as an added plus, they shined my tires (for free)! Didn’t even ask, shows they care and pay attention to details!

I recently visited the location at 4557 Kingston road in Scarborough and required a lot of work to make my vehicle safe and road worthy. I dealt with a gentleman named “Hassan” who really went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with the options and pricing. This was a huge relief because due to the nature of the issues my car needed addressed; I would have been looking at a huge bill, BUT Hassan was able to walk me through all my options and negotiated a fair and equitable pricing for the services I required. I left my car overnight and Hassan had kept me appraised of any issues that arose, and actually returned my phone calls whenever I had an inquiry. When I got my car back, I was blown away by how smooth the drive was when I took it on the road and instantly realized that I had just put years back on my car. I am incredibly satisfied with the service I received and recommend Kal Tire as a viable option for your maintenance needs.

I went to get my flat tire fixed and was told my tire is no good and I would need a new tire but eventually went to other tire shop and they fixed the flat as tire was brand new and nothing was wrong with it. I guess scammers come in all shapes and sizes.

I am not sure what to do. I purchased tires and wheels here on Oct. 28 and gave a deposit. They said the wheels were "at the warehouse" and would call me in a few days to book me to come in. Never called. I called them the week following and booked an appointment to do the installation on Nov. 19th. After sitting for an hour and a half at the store, I was told that the wheels didn't fit and they would order different ones and call me to come back in. They never called. I called them back and was told that they would try a few other places to get the wheels and would call me back the next day. They never called. I keep trying to call them, but the lines are always busy and you can't get through to anyone. It has been almost a month, they still have my deposit, and I still don't have my wheels. Based on my experience, I would avoid this place.

I have been coming to this location for the past few years and everytime they are meeting my needs with flying colors. They have always advised which I like what is required not enforcing it. Rutesh and his team does a fantastic job keeping the service quality top notch with their existing and new customers.

WOMEN BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST THIS KAL TIRE LOCATION!
My wife took her vehicle to this location to have winter tires installed and was sold an unnecessary four wheel alignment. This vehicle was serviced in August 2020 and a wheel alignment was completed at that time and would not have been required again.
Upselling required repairs is fine but taking advantage of a customer is not. We will no longer do business with kal Tire.

FOLLOW UP TO THE ABOVE REVIEW. The manager at this location did reach out and the charges for the wheel alignment have been reimbursed to us which is fine and appreciated but should never have happened in the first place.

Very friendly helpful staff. Found the tires I was looking for at the right price. Still have to pick them up and have installed so can't comment yet on the actual service.
They could not find any rims that I wanted to had to go elsewhere for them.

One thing I like about this place is their service and willingness to take the time to explain things. The loss of star comes from not being contacted when my tires had arrived. Beyond that, I like the tire warranty.

The service is always great, I have been going there for years and get all my tire services there. I mostly deal with Rutesh and most staffs are professional and very accommodating, they go the extra mile to get me the best price to match with their service.

The best tire shop ever. I got my new set of tires here and now I already drove about 40000km. One time there was a puncture in my tire and I called the store to check it. The staff told me the tire cannot not be fixed due to the location of the puncture. However, thanks to the kal tire warranty that I only need to pay a small amount (based on how many mileage I had been driving on that damaged tire, I paid like $30) to get a brand new tire. And they offer free tire rotations every 8000km.

So I booked an appointment in this place to have my winter tires installed there.so after calling and confirming my appointment, I drive there on the specified day and time. After waiting for one hour they told me that they forgot to order my tires. They asked me to come back in two more days. I come back after two days and had my tires installed. They gave me a small discount but I had to go through the trouble of asking for time off. Oh well!

I have complete trust and faith at this KalTire and with the manager Rutesh. Always receive amazing service! We have 3 vehicles and 6 sets of tire at this location. It’s an investment but will continue our business as long as Rutesh is there.

These guys are always professional, courteous, and efficient! I bought my 20" all-seasons here, and the manager, Rutesh, was very upfront about what tires would work, and what wouldn't, with my custom, aftermarket rims. He is a great asset to this company, and I hope they recognize him properly!

I had a great experience with Kal Tire in Scarborough, on Kingston Road. In addition to quickly and conveniently booking an appointment online, all of my questions were answered in a professional and friendly manner regarding my tires. It turned out that I needed brake service as well. The manager, Rutesh, took the time to physically show me my brakes and explain why they needed servicing, which I thought to be very helpful. Both services I received were also reasonably priced.

I appreciate the price and timely manner of the tire service, however I’m not impressed with being told my brakes where almost gone and they had to be serviced. I thought this was strange as I keep my vehicle serviced by my mechanic regularly. I told Kal Tire not to touch my brakes and that I’d have my mechanic look at it.

When I brought my car in to have the brakes looked at I was told my brakes were fine, nothing wrong. I trust my mechanic as I’ve used them for over ten years.

I hope people read this and understand why it’s important to have a questioning attitude. Hopefully I’m an isolated incident at this Kal tire, if not Shame on you Kal Tire.

This shop manager and team are true professionals and do excellent work. We brought our car in for winter tire swap, and during a quick general inspection they noticed we had another maintenance problem. They also realized we usually brought our car to our dealer for regular service, and recommended if we prefer we take our car there as soon as possible. This shows great integrity and we’re grateful. Customer BEWARE, just picked up a set of winter hakkas R3 for my suv, upon further inspection when i got home i have noticed that the tires are more than one year old, not something that i would expect from a place like Kal Tire. I have also purchased a set of Nokians last summer and they were manufactured same year i bought them. I gave the place 3 stars for good customer service and friendly staff, but very dissapointed paying over 1k for old tires that were suppose to be brand new.

I bought four new all seasons tires earlier this year. Good customer service, decent price on the Sumitomo, but they did an alignment without even asking me, and I was waiting at the shop. So it costed me a hundred bucks extra. Was an alignment needed on my four year old car? Probably. Did it improve the handling or reduce the wear of the new tires? Probably. How does one tell that the shop has had its machine calibrated right? My point is, I would like to be consulted first.

Great service, will go back if needed, will certainly recommend, you can see what's done to your car so nobody is going to bs you.

In terms of branding, Kal-tire stands out. It's orange, it's bright and it's clean. Once you enter the place, there is always someone there. The open concept layout really works. There is a comfortable couch, coffee, popcorn and magazines while waiting. In terms of customer service, the gentlemen who helped me was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this place.

This is a very genuine place. They don't overcharge for their services. I went there to change my winter tires, but unfortunately the tires I got from someone didn't fit my car. Even though they spent a good amount of time on my car opening the summer tires and then realising that these winter tires won't fit, they did not charge a single dollar as at the end I did not get any job done.

The worst experience, worst service, they are good giving excuses, I took my flat tire to them 7: 30 am and the guy said will be ready in 6 hours, which incredibly frustrating how come a tire shop can not fix a tire fast, however I called them 6: 00 pm and their excuse was still not ready and blaming me because I had no appointment, how suppose to appointment flat tire, if they know when a tire will be flat should told me, finally I went almost 7: 30 pm and I saw them fixing the tire in 4 minutes, after the guy try to behave like doing me a favor no charging me, I left the money at the desk, my worst tire shop experience ever!

I came in because of a car emergency didnt use their services but waited for my tow truck. They were so helpful and friendly.the place was clean.it was late Friday night and they let me stay as long as i neededto and even gave a phone charger. Id definitely use them in future
