Awesome staff, had a very horrible experience recently but, kind and caring otherwise from my recent visits.

After returning several times to get my tires repaired with no success, I was finally told (not suggested, told) to get new tires or I couldn't drive my car off their property. If this was a safety matter they wouldn't have done work on my tires during my last visits and would have suggested I get new tires sooner. They're not concerned about safety as much as they are about getting you to spend your hard earned money.

I went to this place after reading through the reviews on Google and the reviews are spot on. I wasn't planning on coming here till another 5 months as the tread depth was still good. Unfortunately hit some scrap metal on the 401 and got a flat. I was towed to Kal tire and Christian pretty much got me in as I called from the En Route in Dutton.

We went over options. The 21 inch rims on the Model Y aren't a very common tire size. Christian went above and beyond and got a set of tires on the the day freighted down from Cambridge to London and he got me out the door that day with a tire alignment. Highly recommended place. Christian is definitely an asset to this place. Will definitely be coming back here for future tire work.

I want to share that my previous mechanic at another garage took over 2 days to "maybe diagnose" the issue I had and when I called first thing this morning, despite how busy they were, they made time for me today to find out what was wrong with my vehicle and get it back to me in the same day. It runs perfectly now. Grateful for these guys. I will be back.

I just wanted to recognize Christian A. Assistant Manager at this location. I took my car in to have my breaks looked at and book an appointment to change them. He was able to work me in that time and have my breaks changed. He took the time to explain to me what else they found that needed to be fixed. He took the time to ensure I understood everything, he went above and beyond to make the process easier on me. He was very professional and helpful in ensuring everything went without a hitch. I would recommend this place 10/10 very professional service and a caring manager. There was no hidden costs or extra fees of this that, it was the most straightforward service I've received for my car where I didn't have to pay more than I was told originally.

Christian Atiemo at Kal Tire on Wharncliffe Road in London was knowledgeable and very helpful and despite being a very busy time, exceeded my expectations and replaced the brakes on my car within the same day; other shops stated 5-10 days!

I am pleased with the price, and the work done and I being in the service industry as well, know what excellent service is.

Had an ongoing problem with my jeep. They diagnosed and corrected a problem that four other shops couldn’t. 100% satisfied.

I had a good experience at this location. Christian helped me and he was very kind, helpful and honest. I appreciated that. He did not try to upsell anything and was thoughtful with his recommendations. The store was also comfortable (I had a 3 hour wait) with good coffee and comfy seats.

Great service by Christian, they were very fast and friendly.
I've come to this location twice now for removing nails from tires and each time I was very happy with how I was taken care of.

I bought Michelin Premium LTX tires from Toyotatown 3 years ago and only got 45000 km on them before they were done. Michelin provided a warranty for 60% coverage towards new tires. Needless to say, I did not want to deal with Toyotatown after the bad recommendation and thought why not go to an actual authourized Tire dealer. Kal Tire at Wharncliffe Rd. S.in London said even thought they are an authourized Michelin Dealer, they would not honour the MIchelin warranty because they never pay what they promise and refused to deal with me. They will only honour their 'in house' warranty. Why advertise that you are a Michelin dealer then? Too bad, because I need new summer and winter tires - probably going to spend $175 per tire times 8.oh well.

Range Rover Autobiography run flat went flat! No shop could find another. Thomas at Kal Tire saved the day by procuring the only such tire left in Ontario. Installed the next morning. What a pleasant, timely, rewarding, and professional experience. I also found out they do more than tires, full repairs are available by trained mechanics. Thank you, thank you, thank you Thomas!

I called in a mad panic last Wednesday due to one of my tires popping and Christian (the assistant manager of this location) was patient, attentive, and critically thought out my problem to provide me with multiple solutions which could benefit me. Yes, he could hear the slight panic in my voice, but the entire time he reassured me that we find the best solution possible.

I have been to many tire shops and garages in my day, but I can honestly tell you that Christian and the team at Kal Tire will go the extra mile for you and treat you with the upmost respect! I know where I am going next if I need to fix my brakes done or need new tires!

Highly recommend this branch! Awesome customer service and honest high quality service at this location; thanks to Christian, I was able to get my car in for a wheel alignment before I travel, due to a bigger issue found during the alignment, I was not charged for the alignment and was provided with an appointment first day I get back to have my car looked at by their master technician. Very honest high quality service, they took me in to see the issue they found with the car and talked me through what I was looking at and what they can do to fix it.

Christian provided amazing service and knowledge. I would absolutely recommend Kal Tire to anyone, especially if you're having an issue with flat tires

I almost went with another guy but I’m glad I came here for the new tires. Chris went above and beyond getting it done even though I came here before closing at the last minute.

I came in without an appointment due to a flat tire. Christian and the team were great, they fit me in on the spot. I was able to get a new tire and was out the door within 20 minutes.

I brought my car for a breaks inspection. Christian serviced my car and he was very helpful, professional and informative. I highly recommend.

I purchased new tires here and had an appointment booked within March of 2022 before the tire swap rush began in April. I brought Kal Tire my wheels loose (with no vehicle) for installation and balancing. This means that they did not have to install them on the vehicle as I would handle that myself. It's also worth noting that they charge the same whether they install the wheels on the vehicle or not.

The 2nd week of April 2022 I went to wash and install those wheels with the newly installed tires. Upon washing and inevitably inspecting them, all of the wheels were improperly balanced in some way. From wheel weights hanging off the wheel due to poor contact, wheel weights stuck to old residue that wasn't properly scrapped off, and even not removing old weights to just pile new weights on. This was completely unacceptable and even more so since they saved the labour of actually installing them on the vehicle.

So I go back to have them rebalance the wheels only to have them tell me a half hour later that they cannot remove the center caps due to the bolts being too tight. This means 1 of 2 things. The first time I brought the wheels in for new tire installation and balancing:
1. They didn't actually balance the wheels and just threw weights on randomly to make it look like they were balanced.
2. Balanced the wheels and they proceeded to over-tighten the bolts holding the center caps on.
Either way is unacceptable and they basically left me with wheels that they declined to balance until I personally delt with removing the center caps. So this is what I do with the proper tools, and I kid you not, first try I had all of the center caps off within 5 minutes. I wish I was exaggerating but the incompetence of the shop is unbelievable.

Nonetheless, when I went back a 3rd time for them to rebalance the wheels, they told me they were too busy and tried to book me for a later date. Keep in mind I made well sure to book my original appointment so that I wouldn't have to deal with the seasonal tire rush that happens every year. Of course I won't be revisiting this shop and now I am having one hell of a time getting these wheels balanced due to the tire swap rush that is going on now.

All because some tire tech couldn't take the time (AND extra time since they didn't have to install on the vehicle!) to balance the wheels properly.

Thanks for wasting a metric butt ton of my time on a task that I should've never had to think about again.

Called KalTire needing new performance tires. I spoke with Christian who answered all my questions and quoted me on a set of 4 new tires that were almost $100 per tire less than a popular Canadian store that was having a 40% off sale on tires!
The tires I needed were in stock and I had an appointment within the week and when I got to the store, the place was clean and the staff were so helpful. Thanks for the great service Christian, I'll be back!

Kal Tire was incredibly accommodating today. We woke up to a flat tire right before we needed to catch a flight and they graciously squeezed us in to have all four tires switched out. Took no time at all! Thank you!

I’ve been here 4 times for tire issues, I’m always scared of the car bill at the end. Not here! One time they didn’t even charge me when I thought I had a bigger tire issue than I actually had. The waiting room is great too.

Called at 11: 30am, was booked in for 1: 30pm same day! Arrived. Car was ready in 45 minutes with a new set of winter tires. Assistant Manager Christian is a great guy and really goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done right. Thanks for everything, I will be back.

DO NOT GO TO THIS TIRE SHOP OR FRANCHISE! Lug nuts aren’t properly torqued to spec. Apparently my lug nuts have a toque spec range…. Of 65-80 ft lbs. When asked the manager about it he denied everything. Also didn’t tell or state anywhere that your tires have to be re toques after 100 km of driving after the instillation. Stay away unless you want your lug nuts to still be loose after they say they have balanced them. Plus the tires aren’t even balanced correctly. The car shakes now from 90-120km/h. Plus they use a 5” extention on there torque wrench so the torque on the lugs will not be what the torque wrench is set to because of the extention. Definitely will not recommend and will not be returning. Bet that’s why tires are falling off in London

“Wow” just had a leveling kit and some KO2”S installed on my truck! I’m super happy with the aggressive look. Huge thank you to Thomas for his advice and recommendations. I did not have a chance to thank the installers but they did a great job as well. Awesome service all around, thank guys!

We went for our seasonal tire change, right towards the end of their day. One of our winter tires had an issue, and they were quick to not only let us know, but also give us options to be able to budget for replacements. Everyone there was very professional and kind. It is a great location on Wharncliffe. Would highly reccomend that anyone looking for a tire change or service come and visit Christian and his team!

Pretty positive experience. Had a tyre swap. It’s was simple and for the price of the swap I was happy with the service.

I did not have a great experience here. Came in for a oil and tire change a few weeks ago, while it was very quick service (only took about 1.5 hours), I ended up paying about twice what I usually pay for oil and tire change. Also coincidentally, my car battery of a fairly new car (bought in April), suddenly lost all ability to hold a charge a few days later

Waste of time and money visited store last month to fix my puncture tire, the tire worked fine for a month and now again the same tire is starting to loose air, called at store to see if they can trouble shoot the issue and was told to SHOW UP but when did they have no one available to check the car.get it its winter busy time but just dont waste others time too.not happy with the way they deal with customers regret in first place to choose this store for business

Well we have been coming here for a long time. Can’t say enough about Christian Atiemo. Always find us a good deal on tires since I own four vehicles two winter and two summer car okbut also just a good guy all around. I just happened to run over a big cotter pin and drove it straight to Kal Tire and as usual Christian help us out right away. Life saver. He really has what it takes to be a Manger. Kal Tire you need to keep this man around he knows he stuff.

After failing to prepare for our scheduled service appointment the attempt to shift the blame to our side of the counter was appalling and not so much as a halfway apology.

That said, I have never had any issue whatsoever with the mechanical works undertaken by the shop team.

Just went and had my seasonal tire swap from summer to winter and store my summers.in and done 30mins.can not complain and of course courteous service.

Called them for some Nokian WRG3'3 for my Odyessy. Sent me a quote via email 20 mins after the call. They were able to book me on a Saturday. Said it would take 1 hr. And it did for 4 new Tires mounted balanced and a 4 wheel alignment. I do appreciate that the warranty is only valid if the alignment is good. Thanks for a Job well done. Just a follow up 3 years later. They are outstanding if you use their leak of flat warranty. I’m now onto my second set of Nokian tires. Keep up the good work

Very good and quick repair to my tire. Clean waiting room and courtois staff. Certainly got back if needed.

Had to turn on my a/c to move the car 20 feet. Then they leave it on, starting the car 4 times before it's done. That's not good for a car to turn the a/c on then start the car. Old alternator and a/c sytem as well. Hope they were cooled off.

Got my winter tires changed. Due to the pandemic the procedure is to stand outside and wait. In the pouring rain. No options. No covered tent. No accommodation to stay dry or warm. When it is time to pay though - you are welcome to come inside. Jello for brains. Never again. Used to do oil change, winter tire hotel and swap, brake work - but these guys are rude and ignorant. Procedure? Yeah ok.

I called to take of my tires and put it back again suspecting that it wasn't installed correctly and cause losing air, I asked how much this will cost me for the 4 tires and they said 80$, I went to do the job and I told them that i figured out the issue and the tire valves need to be replaced, they took off all 4 wheels and changed the valves and didn't balance the tires, check treads or even put the tires back in the right order (higher tread front and lower tread back) and than they charged me 50$ more! I refused to pay that amount as they didn't tell me that before working on my tires and I paid the valves price in top of the 80$

I went back asking to fix this issues after 2 weeks when i noticed the old balance and higher treads installed in rear, they said its not essential and need to check back later and they will not re-balance it

I have been using Kal Tire for almost 20 years for business and personal use. Always professional from the counter guys to the mobile road mechanics and everyone in between.

I found Tom Haggerty to be very welcoming, friendly and professional. He explained clearly exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Tom is very honest and caring. I highly recommend the Kal Tire on Wharncliffe. I have been three times now and they do great work and so affordable.

Dropped my tire off and they kept it for three weeks and forgot about it while I drove with a spare, extremely unprofessional, poor customer service, lazy employees after the three weeks I went there and they made me buy a new tire. Literally could not ask for worse service, super super pathetic

I have always had really good experiences at Kal Tire. Today was no different.and especially to learn after buying and fitting new tires that the installation costs were already covered in the price!
