Kallisto Greek Restaurant

I ate in for the first time although I’ve enjoyed their food to go and through Uber eats many times. The service was some of the best I’ve ever had and their bruschetta can only be described as incredible. The chicken shawarma a la grecque and spanakopita are some of my personal favourites. All ingredients in their meals are so fresh. The establishment was very nice and even the washroom smelled incredible.

First time visiting. Food was good and fresh. I had the calamari appetizer and the souvlaki for the main. Service was good and came by several times to check on us and refill our water.

Such wonderful food! Service is always so pleasant. Went in for take out, as my ankle is broken and had not eaten in a few days. Was definitely worth it

I ordered moussaka in March 2022 from Kallisto's and it was great. Ordered again in March 2023 and it was really bad. Not enough bechamel or eggplant, way too much meat, no real layers. Very disappointing. Won't be ordering from them again.

Everytime we get to Ottawa we always make sure to stop at Kallisto's. The food is amazing, especially their homemade salad dressing! The staff are amazing and treat you like family! Highly recommend dining here when you go to Ottawa!

I have to say this one was a strong 4 star and had there just been a little more vegetables on the plate it would have been absolutely a 5 star. I had the Mediterranean Chicken and it was absolutely the largest best I have ever gotten at a restaurant beautifully cooked and the rice was pretty good too. Like I said earlier though the vegetable medley was lacking and consisted of one like of pepper one stalk of asparagus and one piece of broccoli. Just could have used a few more pieces to bring the whole thing together.

A hidden gem with wonderful family owners, friendly service and great food. The souvlaki platter is always a great choice

Great place and tasty food. Ordered for the first time during the pandemic and was not disappointed. Came here after a baptismal in their “party room” and the food was fantastic and service was amazing. I’ve lived in this end of town all my life and surprised I never came here sooner! If you like Greek! This is the place!

Ive been twice in 2 months. It does not disappoint. Delicious. The baklava was exactly how it was in grece. Highly recommend. Will be going back shortly.

Foods are good we loved their vegetarian wraps and pastas, salads, very clean, they're hard working team and services are great.

Excellent service, excellent food. It was so good…first time we had the moussakas and the second time we had souvlakis. We will return for sure.

Was disappointed. My Greek salad only had one slice of cucumber, half a slice of tomato and two olives. Are you kidding me? !
The remainder of my meal was ok. Had the shrimp souvlaki. 8 shrimp, potatoes, rice, garlic butter, lemon wedge. That part was fine. The salad well it tasted ok if you like a bowl of lettuce with nothing else

Good food selection and very tasty. Service and staff although nice they were a little bit rough.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Kallisto yesterday. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and all the staff were friendly and kind. I definitely recommend this place!

We had our office holiday lunch at Kallisto today and all four of us left overwhelmingly satisfied. One of my colleagues is a real foodie, and she decided that it's her new favourite place. The food is incredible. We had the bruschetta, calamari, saganaki, baba ganoush and dolmades for our appetizers - all were so delicious! Then came the Greek salad as part of our meals, which was very tasty. The main course also did not disappoint. My colleague loved her lamb. The salmon I ordered was delicious. The potatoes were crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. Vegetables were steamed and grilled to perfection. My other two coworkers enjoyed their chicken dishes. For dessert - baklava! Another generous portion and I had to pack up half to take home because I was stuffed! It is nice to go to a restaurant these days and to be so satisfied with the experience. It really was a treat. The owner was there and seemed very proud when we told him how happy we were. I also want to say that our server was fantastic. She had a great sense of humour, and took very good care of us. Oh - and when we arrived, we found the temperature a bit cool (temperatures outside were dropping quickly). I had my jacket over my shoulders. They noticed our discomfort and immediately turned up the heat for us. Five big stars for a great restaurant experience!

The food is delicious, well seasoned and good portion! The staff is super friendly, they treat you like family.

I never realise how big it was inside, amazing food and the service is top 1. Really happy its close from home. A gem.

I had ordered delivery through Uber with Kallisto. They messed up my order, missing over 2/3 of what I had paid for. I ordered three plates, did not receive any sides. When I had called to follow up, they hung up on me every time. The only time I received any answer was when someone else called in my place, and still they could not do anything. Terrible customer service. Will not be ordering from here again.

I went here with my girlfriend and it was so good. The food was delicious, we started with a platter that had a bit of everything. She got a gyro which she was very happy with. I got the lamb souvlaki which was so flavourful and tender. Definitely will be back.
