Home away from home! This place is amazing and very friendly. I love the gym and I love the people.

Amazing facility with world class instructors in both striking and grappling. Whatever your goal is be it competition, weight loss, making new positive friends, Kalsamrit is the right place to check out. Bring a change of clothes and show up for literally any class you won’t regret it! I’ve gone from a fat guy who could barely get up off the couch to a regional kickboxing champion who’s down over 100lbs. They can help you crush your goals, you just have to keep showing up. Easy as that!

First, we’d like Kalsamrit to know how fortunate we feel to be part of the Kalsamrit Family, and we just want to thank Brendan, Heather, Vanessa, Matt, Mackenzie, Kara, and Team from the very bottom of our hearts for organizing and running such an AMAZING 7th birthday party for our little guy and his buddies on Sunday the 10th

It sincerely meant more to him and to us than you know… He is STILL raving about how it was “the best” party he has ever been to, and it just happened to be HIS birthday party! We felt the same way… In fact, he’s already asked to have his 8th birthday party there next year!

It was also just such an unexpected, but very much appreciated surprise to walk in and see that we really didn’t need to worry about a single thing. The detail in the decorations, balloons, plates, cutlery and tables were all set up so nicely and the timing of games very well planned… There was so much care put in to organizing it. We’ve never experienced that kind of care for our kids’ parties anywhere else, and you guys just set the bar soooo high.

The other parents and kids who attended kept saying they didn’t want to leave and that we all had so much fun too playing the games (we even had coaches/parents versus kids dodgeball!). The kids loved the big glove ring fights and laughed at Melissa and I duking it out in the ring - just hilarious! All were so very impressed with how you guys ran the activities, games, and everything in between.

My son couldn’t believe he and his friends broke boards (thank you for finding those!) and being able to take their boards home as an added souvenir from the party to show off to family and at pick-up… Our little guy was in awe of being able to cut his cake with a “real Samurai sword” that he later got to take home to “keep and pass down to (his) own kids and family forever! ” LOLOL! It was all so very special to him and to us?

We very, very highly recommend your martial arts gym for birthday parties to celebrate kids of all ages… and also for the hardcore fitness, physical and mental health! But you guys already know this — our family is addicted to your programs and positive people ;)

Staff and the Owner are friendly and great to deal with. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. When I drop my child off I know he’s in good hands.

My child often talks about the coaches, they all sound like they are very encouraging to the kids.

We signed our son up as he wanted to try it, before we knew the whole family were regulars. They are great with the kids plenty of coaches to help everyone so no one is left behind. We have done personal training for my wife myself and our son.

My 4 kids have been doing Martial Arts at KALSAMRIT for many years. We absolutely love it! Right from the beginning we have been made to feel like part of the family. Everyone is always very welcoming, personable, encouraging and supportive. I feel 100% confident that everytime I drop my kids off they are safe, well taken care of and come out more respectful humans. They offer so much! After-school programs, fun filled summer camps, fight team camps, multiple classes for all ages, summer job opportunities and so much more! Even during such trying times with the lockdowns KALSAMRIT did an amazing job keeping the kids motivated, engaged and grounded over zoom classes we are so happy to be part of the KALSAMRIT Family. Signed my son up about a month ago and he absolutely loves the place. The staff here made us feel at home from his first class. We couldn't be happier, we plan on signing our daughter up asap!

My son attends Kalsamrit’s kids classes, the coaches are top notch, knowledgeable and keep the kids highly engaged. My son looks forward to his classes and looks up to his coaches. The facility is impeccably clean and all the staff are helpful and kind. The community has a family atmosphere and everyone is very welcoming. There is a program for everyone and every skill level. This gym is a gem!

Ladies kickboxing classes are awesome! Great instructors, great workout and feel great after. Clean, spacious gym so people aren't on top of each other.

My family and myself have been members of Kalsamrit for over two years now. The staff and coaches continue to show their passion for the art with each and every class we attend. They kept us sane and active throughout the pandemic closures by offering online classes. They make everyone at every skill level feel welcome and right at home. They are extremely professional, clean and well maintained at all times.
Discovering this gym has been an absolute blessing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn the art or stay active.

Brenden took me into his club with open arms. Has fantastic krus, instructors and professors to teach and make you apart of a great team.

This is the best academy going with the variety of martial arts classes, personal training, on site physio, kids classes, kids camp, and online classes. Combine that with the amazing staff and coaches this is the best bang for your buck.

Nothing but great experiences with the staff and family at Kalsamrit! From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel welcome and at home with a smile, a handshake, or even a fist bump. My kids had a blast during their week of camp this summer. Everyday they'd come home tired and yet be excited to talk about what they had learned or done at camp that day. They enjoyed the activities and especially the field trips. My girls have enjoyed and flourished during their time here in the Tiny Tigers program, and kids' classes. It is incredible the confidence and discipline they have gained through their martial arts journey. Do yourself a favour and come in to meet the crew and try a free class!

My son, Jackson, attended one of their camp weeks this summer (Sports week). He is not the easiest of kids to impress at his age (10). Every single day he came home BEAMING at the fun he was having, the friends he was making and the activities and outings lined up for the camp kids. This is truly the happiest we have seen him all summer and in the age of electronics to keep these kids busy and happy all through physical activity is nothing short of amazing. The staff and owners should be nothing short of proud and impressed with the hard work they have put into these camps and kids.if given the choice out of 5 stars I give them a 10. Well done and a BIG thankyou from our family to yours!

The best martial arts gym around, hands down. The instructors are top notch, and there are a variety of classes for every age group, as well as women’s only classes. It’s an amazing place for the whole family.

My boys spent two weeks in July at Kalsamrit camp in Port Perry and they are still talking about how much fun they had! They were keep busy and stimulated all day long. Can't wait to sign them up again next year.

WOW! Cannot say enough good things about this gym. They helped me get back into shape (post baby) and there schedule is great for a busy family. The Coaches are approachable and knowledgeable. My daughter attends the kids classes and she never wants to leave! The coaches are so good with engaging children and I always know she is well cared for! Cannot say enough good things about their programs, do NOT hesitate to join yourself and your children!

Awesome people make this gym feel like you’re in good hands. They care and take care of their members. The after school program is better than anything else we’ve found. School pick up, entertainment, training, pride and respect, peace of mind. Great value and Kalsamrit values included. Summer camp or all year, these people put their best foot forward. Good job guys

I have been part of this family for 5 years now with two of my boys participating in the kids program. They have gone through tiny tigers and now kids classes. My kids are excited and wanting to go to classes all the time. They learn respect as well as martial arts here. All the coaches are amazing! I will always recommend this facility to friends, family and strangers. Go check it out!

My kids used the camp all summer. They all loved it. We also use the pa day camp which is extra fun for our kids:) The camp was also super understanding which helped being single moms!

Our family has been a part of this gym for a few years and it was the best decision ever! They offer everything for the whole family. My kids have gone to their summer camps and always have a blast while staying active and learning new skills. The after school program is worth every penny. They pick my kids up from school and take them back to the gym where they can train, do homework and interact with their friends. I recommend this gym to everyone!

I am a new addition to the Kalsamrit team this summer! I come and hangout with some awesome kids, not to mention the great staff that have welcomed me with open arms. The atmosphere and energy that the gym encourages makes it really easy as well as enjoyable to be at work. My co-workers are fantastic and I am so glad I have the opportunity to work at such an inspiring place.

Both Kalsamrit locations are amazing and the coaching staff floats back and forth between locations and mixes it up. My son had a blast at the summer camp at the Port Perry location! Everyone is great with the kids. The off site trips sounded like lots of fun, and what made me feel better as a paranoid Mom, were the identifying shirts that every kid in Kalsamrit camp would wear on an excursion for ease of identification for staff and kids in busy places as a group. Great idea. Great safety practices. Don’t be afraid to send your child to this camp in Bowmanville or Port Perry! It’s a great place!

We are so fortunate to have found an amazing summer program for kids at Kalsamrit in Bowmanville. I have been enormously impressed with the enthusiasm and positive energy Kalsamrit staff puts into their efforts with my son. I have peace of mind knowing that my son is well cared for and getting a fun and healthy experience in their hands. Their day is full of fun, stimulating activities and tons of amazing friendships and memories. It is great to know in an age of tablets in technology that my son is reaping the benefits of a physically active and mentally engaging program that promotes wellness and personal growth. I would highly recommend this summer camp program to anyone with kids aged 5-12!

Such a great feeling to find a martial arts gym with such an amazing sense of community. Staff are crazy friendly, and passionate about what they teach. I feel a great sense of growth at this place! I'm very excited for when my daughter and twin boys turn of age to get her enrolled in classes at Kalsamrit ASAP along side of me:)

This place is a victim of there own success. Due to it's popularity, it is busy. They cap the class size, but I am unsure after how many kids are enrolled. There are tons of kids, which is where the rub lies. Kids that need extra help, don't get it when required. The coaches are stretched thin. The kids they like it here, really enjoy themselves but any kid on the fence has a tough time Also, be careful with the contract to sign up. The wording on it states you can not cancel for 6 months.

Great club! Friendly instructors. They have a lot of AM and PM classes so you can always find a time to come in and train:)

They charged me for the time when dey did not work and didn't want to return the money. Strange contract!

Great vibe! Friendly, helpful, no egos! Great place to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. They also have a great after school program! I might recommend this club!

Our family has been attending Kalsamrit for over 3 yrs now, in Bowmanville & Port Perry. Both facilities have classes for all ages and skill levels. The owners are both genuine, kind and caring people who are in it for all the right reasons! The other coaches and instructors are all experienced and very much love their job as well ️ If you live in either area and don’t attend, you’re definitely missing out!
