Great Birthday cake but now the cake has too much cream then before, only two thin layers of cake the rest just whip.

If you are looking for a hidden dessert gem in the area, look no further than this place. Their choux pastries are one of a kind, with a variety of delicious flavours to choose from. I think I've tried them all, and they are all amazing. My favourites are mango, pistachio and raspberry. The cakes are also great, whether you want a slice or a whole cake. They also have a great selection of teas to pair with your desserts. The staff is always friendly and the quality of the desserts is superb. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Great little place to treat yourself or your friends. Presentation is lovely and the desserts are so delicate! I’ve been here a few times and it is a crowd pleaser.

This place is great if you’re looking for a light dessert and tasty drinks! We tried their mango, hazelnut, nama chocolate, and jasmine choux and they were delicious and so light! I tried their tea latte as well and it was perfect! 10/10 would recommend!

We just went there (8: 50pm) right before they close. Owners were super nice and it was delicious!

Kanae cafe, is self branded as a Japanese choux café. The café footprint is small, with window seating options available.
It's ok for a quick bite and that's really what this place is. The desserts, which are like fancy eclairs, come in a variety of flavors and are fairly expensive.
These taste like stuffed puff pastries (Profiteroles or cream puffs) but given that they are opened faced, it lends itself to have other toppings.

Creme choux $4 each, $22 for 6 pieces.
Lychee - a good hint of lychee. Not overly intense. It's ok
Hazelnut praline - a bit of nutty hazelnut pieces with a hazelnut creme. It's ok.

Place is kinda hidden but worth the visit. Tried out their Cream Choux bundle of 6 and was generally happy with my choices of flavour. Inside has a strong smell of butter as soon as you step in the store. Like I was in butter heaven.

Their cream choux was just average to be honest. I feel like I expected more, we went at about 1: 30pm & did eat the choux right away however they just didn’t exactly taste “fresh/have that crunchy texture” as advertised. Their cake on the other hand, was great! So I would most likely come back just for the cake itself.

Ordered a Yuzu Cheese Cloud cake for my partner’s birthday. It was very tart and true to form, which we LOVED. We had a couple family members who were not into the tartness, so if you have friends/family who are anti-sour foods, avoid this and maybe opt for the Ube Meets Taro which we have also heard is excellent.

Finally got a chance to try their desserts, sooooo tasty! Like their cream puff, but absolutely love the cakes more!

We walked by this new bakery by accident. The store was selling Japanese and crunchy version of eclair/ cream puff. Over all the taste and $4 price are reasonable as we can taste the whipping cream and topping, but the pastry is definitely not crunchy as promoted (maybe because we got ours and ate them late at 3pm). The staff probably can't speak English, so we grabbed a brochure to understand what we were eating.

The items were fresh, with reasonably price and tasty flavours. Definitely recommend 100%, especially for those tired of heavy, overly sweet pastries. The cream is light and has the perfect amount of sweetness, and stands out from other pastries stores I’ve been to. 10/10.

Newly open Japanese Pastry shop. Have varieties of visually pleasing pastries. Good tasting and decently priced about $4.50 per piece. The Kanae cakes are said to be originated from Hokkaido, Japan, which is a upside where quality is first.

Open late today, take long time for outside waiting. The first customer used the service time took about 15mins still not yet finish.
During the waiting, the grand opening special was changed to buy 2 get 1 free but limited one customer per one item. This is not fare for the outside waiting customer.
Although the products is good but the service is not convenient for the customer.

Strawberry shortcake was nothing short of amazing. Balanced textures, soft sponge cake, perfect whipped cream! I also tried the jasmine choux and kinako mochi - both were delicious and I recommend consuming the choix on the same day you purchase. The flavours were pronounced and you can tell they used quality ingredients. The shop owner (I assume) was also extremely pleasant and polite. I’ll be back to try more flavours!

Bought the choux cream puffs! Delectable flavours, smooth transactions nice service. I definitely recommend trying all the flavours and stopping by this wonderful Japanese pastry store!
