Love this gym! Fair price for drop in and very clean! Even smells like they clean regularly.
Great times for the appropriate age groups.

Best indoor play gym for small kids. Lots of activities to do indoors and my kid loves the experience. They have membership and drop in prices as well.

We decided to enroll our six-year-old son in Kanata GymnoSphere summer camp this year, marking his first experience in that place. Unfortunately, it seems it might also be his last. The camp was overcrowded, with an overwhelming noise and bad air quality. It's not surprising, given that the facilities lack the space and proper ventilation needed for such a large group of kids and adults.

One striking image that remains is a group of children huddled right next to the exit door, watched cartoons while waiting to be picked up. This seemed very inappropriate and rather disrespectful to the children's needs and potential. It appears that they were even allowed to watch cartoons during lunchtime.

In the past, when we used to take our daughter there, it was a very welcoming and tidy place. But, it seems that their current focus is more on quantity rather than the quality. It was so disappointing to see such an overcrowded, disorganized, and seemingly undisciplined environment.

Interestingly, just the week before, our son had attended a different camp that was a complete contrast. The atmosphere was clean and organized, with a reasonable number of children for the designated space. The children remained active and engaged throughout, playing until the pickup time.

Everything was outstanding. I could not have been more impressed with the venue and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the entire party had a wonderful experience.

My son and his friends had such a great time at his birthday party! The instructors did an amazing job at keeping them engaged, which is no small feat for a group of 5 year old boys! I'd definitely recommend having a party here

Great place to bring kiddos. Lots of space and fun features. The staff were also super nice and kept things running well.

We had a friend tell us about this location and we decided to bring our kids. They had such a great opportunity to explore all the different activities and loved the trampolines. I would highly recommend parents bring their kids to the open play sessions to familiarize themselves with all the different obstacles.

Our sons 2nd Birthday Party was a blast! We had a group of 16 children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years old and there was so much to do that every child had a great time. Afterwards all the parents mentioned individually how much their kids enjoyed it and that they would be coming back from drop ins. Total win!

The booking process was simple and easy to do online. The team follows up by giving you a call to confirm all the details, and you have until the Wednesday before your weekend party to finalize the count, order pizzas and any other add ons you might need. Communication was easy and quick. If I left a voicemail they called me back the same day. The weren’t just attentive during the booking process, on the day of the party we had Natasha and Laura as our party hosts and they showed our kids all the fun activities, played with them and truly kept them engaged and enjoying themselves. Madelina, the owner, was so helpful also, checking in if we needed anything and if all was going well. She was so hands on, vacuuming and helping set up tables etc… We truly felt like VIPs. At the end of our party when we were cleaning up Akxenia was right there with us, helping us put everything away.

The teams kindness and positive energy really made this the best birthday party experience for us.

The gym itself has so many great areas and was clearly well kept and regularly cleaned.

Our 5 year old loves his little ninja class here. It’s a full hour of on-the-go activity and the instructors are great with shy newcomers. They offer great day camps and have been very accommodating with registration and schedule changes.

We've been to a couple of different gyms in the area, but my daughter loves this place. We recently had her birthday party there, and while there was a glitch in planning, the team and I worked together to make sure that the event was still success! Coach Nat was wonderful with the kids, and I was appreciative that the gym time was structured and not just free time for the kids to play. The structured gym time meant no one got tired too fast and the kids all stayed engaged. Other staff took our items and set the party room all up for us and I loved that! (I loved not having to rush and I could just enjoy watching the kids and chatting with a friend).
The kids came to the party room laughing and red cheeked.

Great gymnastics classes for toddlers. The open gym hours are an awesome and affordable way to kill some time and burn energy for kids

I have to change my review. This used to be an excellent place. Nowadays they seem to be extremely focused on quantity rather than quality, and safety appears to not be in their checklist. The entry area is a complete mess and it is constantly blocked, even by staff sitting in a desk. The waiting area has been reduced at least 70%. Why would they do that? The only explanation is that it is done to be able to have more students. But it is not good to do that while reducing the spaces for students getting ready and for parents waiting. I am extremely concerned about safety for parents and students.

I wish I knew about this place much, much earlier. We first visited the GymnoSphere today, and my kids are in love with the place. It’s a giant gym with lots of gymnastic equipment, mats, climbing structures, trampolines, etc.it’s a perfect place for kids to spend a couple of hours and burn tons of energy. We will be regular customers now.

Amazing place to brings your kids! Drove from orleans to find out it was full and sold out. The lady saw my disappointed kids and said come on in it’s okay. They are just so kind and amazing. Love this place. Always clean and well kept

Great facility and love their recreational gymnastics programs. Very high quality and would definitely recommend.

My two daughters went to GymnoShphere for many years before the pandemic and they were happy to go there. After the pandemic things changed, this is the first time that they both said they did nott want to go there anymore. They want to learn cartwheel, but the coach said: you are supposed to know how to do it. But I registered them in the tumbling class to learn it. If they already knew how to do it, then why I spent my hard earned money on it? And they said what they did in the class was 80% nothing to do with tumbling at all. They did not get any help to improve their skills. So sad that GymnoSphere could not maintain their quality anymore. We are not going back.

My toddler loved kindergyms and JK gymnastics. Drop ins are great value. Parent inclusive sessions let me do a little stretching and mobility work as well. Staff have all been great.

Not a great experience.

Parents are not allowed in (my daughter is 3), and communication was seriousally lacking. My daughter came out of all three classes we sent her too missing items and was not allowed back in to get them.

A child was injured on her last night we sent here and parents were not told until the end of the class.

Overall very poor experience.

I noticed some conflicting information on their website regarding their cancellation policy. I send them an email using their general email address as well as using their online enquiry form when no response was received after few weeks with several follow-ups. I don't bother to call as I can't trust verbal conversation from a business who does not respond to client's enquiry. I see communication is an issue as some of the users had already pointed out. I planned to register my daughter to one of their classes but now they lost my business. We did have a birthday party there few years ago and it was fun. Hope some positive changes will happen.

Absolutely terrible experience dealing with this 'business' and obtaining a refund for classes cancelled due to Covid. For reasons I'm failing to understand, that are not well articulated by staff (when you actually get a response), this 'business' is only able to process a certain amount of refunds per day. No problem. However ELEVEN months later, I am still unable to receive my promised refund. I have sent dozens of emails and left several voice mails - to no avail. Getting a refund from the City of Ottawa or any other recreational business was a matter of DAYS, not MONTHS due to covid cancellations.

Like everyone else during this pandemic, I am more than happy to practice patience and compassion as businesses adjust to opening and closing but waiting eleven months for a refund is not a fair timeline even remotely. I hate to leave a terrible review but I cannot get an answer from a single employee. A very terrible way to run a business and at this point, I wouldn't recommend this club - which is very upsetting because my sons had many good years here pre-covid but the ending has left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Do better. I know I won't give up seeking this money as it is owed to me.

Have been trying to go in for an adult drop in for Multiple weeks now. Sent an email and they told me that adult drops ins run Friday evenings. I show up Friday evening staff is not aware of any adult drop ins and am not able to stay. I leave my email and contact information and was told I'd get a response for all the miscommunication. Been 2 weeks still haven't heard. All I wanted to do was come in for a workout since there are very limited gymnastics places in the Ottawa area that run adult drop ins. Sad part is if I enjoyed the gym Atmosphere I would happily enroll my 5 years old Daughter also.

This is a place I have taken my kids almost weekly for years now, so when my husband shows up for drop in with only 40 min remaining and they won't let him in because they only accept cash, it's very disappointing! Not collecting $5 from one child would not break the bank, especially because we happily would've paid double the following week. I know that Olympia and Rideau gymnastics have done that for people! I know that there are rules for a reason but sometimes good customer service and making an exception can go a long way and would keep your clients happy!

I’m just a normal kid going to the drop in me and my friend that I will not name get into a fight I leave I came back because I was just upset my mom picks me up and I was told one of the staff were calling me inappropriate names I Heard It from multiple People and I gave a complaint Today the said they will do something but the staff member who said that stuff was apparently One of the nicest people there so if the man I’m talking about is reading this I just want to no why u said that stuff

Update in response to owner’s reply:
The fact of the matter is that we have tried at several occasions, in person and 7 emails, since mid-July to get this resolved privately. In Your last communication to us, you indicated that we would hear from you and haven’t. We believe we have made significant efforts but so far they haven’t been reciprocated. It is up to you now to prove us otherwise.

An unpleasant experience with this gym. Our daughter has been in gymnastics since she was 14 months now going on 11,4 years of which were competitive so needless to say we know our way around a gym. Unresponsive blatantly ignoring emails, requests to meet are ignored, not accommodating in general. Despite indicating In their handbook that with a doctor’s note they will consider reimbursements, they have shown no attempts to consider our certified medical note, completely ignoring us in fact. Very disappointing experience for all, their complete ignorance of our request is a total lack of respect and frankly very unprofessional, definitely not a culture we would want our daughter to be around.

This place is a sanity saver for parents of busy toddlers - especially in the winter months! We started my older son with the baby drop-ins 2+ years ago, and have been attending the 0-6yr open gym times ever since. We're now taking my infant son as well (11 months), who loves it just as much.
My only knock is that it can get busy at times (on weekends and rainy days). So keep your head on a swivel!

If I could give no stars I would. My husband called at 1030 this morning (Monday) to see when they have their baby drop ins/play group. The MANAGER told him to just check the website. REALLY!? Sooooo unprofessional. I couldn't believe it, what made it even worse was when we checked the website there was actually a baby drop in /play group happening right then. (Monday- 10am-12pm) Why the MANAGER was not kind enough to just tell us is beyond me. That is TERRIBLE customer service.

***Also after being to two birthday parties at this place parents wanting a BIRTHDAY PARTY should note:

Birthday parties you can BARELY move in the party rooms they are so small and if you happen to have a child in your group who needs to use the washroom or even hit up the water fountain after all of that play they'll need to cross the entire play platform/gym on their own (because a party host /mom has no time to take each child for these MANY nature calls) DURING regular gymnastics classes taking place. Also, other parents are NOT allowed to the party room itself.
I would never have left this review if we were treated properly and actually given the time of day when we called this morning. A little professionalism goes a long way.
But having said that, I'm glad I can give other parents a heads up. We ALL read reviews.:)

Came here for the first time for the baby drop-in. This place deserves a 0 star! I don’t usually write reviews but I have to let people know to stay far away from this gym. Not baby proofed at all. They had 4 hoola hoops, 2 foam cubes and a mini ball pit that had 10 balls and some where broken for the kids to play with.
I suggest people to go to the Star Gymnastic for the drop-in since they have amazing variety for the kids and toys to play with.
Please save yourself the trip and avoid this place at ALL costs!

We have bean cheated and ripped off. Madalina (the owner) started the year with a promise of a coach and a promise of fair treatment if we decide to leave. The group of boys was coached by a baby-sitter girl instead. Fast forward 4 months, the coach never came. We have been charged for 6+ months of coaching. When we decided to leave they did not give us money back. They still have no coach for the male program. Other parents have been treated in the same manner. Stay away, don't trust the owner or head coach Lauren. They don't post it here, but a lot of parents just silently leave for other gyms.

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to the team at GymnoSphere. Thanks to them my daughter and 14 of her closest friends had an amazing time at her 9th birthday party!

Terrible for small children. While this place might be good for advanced/competitive, it is terrible for beginners or young children. I rarely write reviews, but I couldn't help it. This place actually deserves 0 stars. The coaches are not engaging and do not explain how to do any movements. The kids are left to themselves, not so good for 4 years old. The instructors keep changing from week to week and don't even introduce themselves.

Good place to take the kids on a bad weather day to burn off some energy and have fun. Prices are very reasonable. The place can be a little overwhelming at times with the number of people they let it, and I've had some safety concerns for the younger toddlers with some of the equipment left out.

I can highly recommend the Kindergym programme at the Kanata Gymnosphere. My two children had an excellent experience with Reagan who was very attentive and set up a great variety of stations for them. The space is bright and well set up for parents to chat or work while they wait for their children. We will definitely sign up again.

My girls love Gymnosphere. It is more expensive than the last place we were at, but we found our girls were improving much more quickly and getting a better overall workout! I love that they follow the CanGym levels.

Our sons have been taking parkour here for 2 years and they just love it! The instructors are always friendly and the gym is clean and safe. Great way for them to stay active.

We’ve participated in several sessions between our two little ones. Always a wonderful experience with eager and engaging coaching staff!

My daughter loves going to Kanata Gymnosphere. We have had nothing but great experiences with the coaching staff as well as fantastic birthday parties!

We’ve had a great experience at Kanata Gymnosphere. My daughter is now starting her third session with the gym and has always loved the classes and her coaches. We started her as a toddler as a great way to challenge her physical abilities and have her follow instructions from another adult. She’s now starting solo classes with confidence and a great skill set she will continue to build on. I’d highly recommend them!

Decent gym despite poor customer service (my emails have been ignored and it's hard to get them on the phone).

Love this place. Nice and clean and great space for parents to watch. Equipment is excellent as well as the instructors. No complaints about that. I rated it 4 stars only because it gets a little too busy at times. They have a nice space with hundreds of cubbies to organize boots and personal belongings. Perhaps staggering the class start times would improve the crowded feeling at the start/end of each class times. The quality of the classes are exceptional. My daughter loves it!

Great and friendly atmosphere. Many different class options. We also take advantage of the drop-ins.fantastic for tweens and teenagers!
