Let me start by saying I have never driven a mazda I liked before. Tribute, protégé both were not right for me. However, when I came to kanata mazda it was to try a larger vehicle.

Christina was amazing and showed me I didn't need the largest car on the road, I just needed the right one. We test drove a cx50 and it was perfect.

Christina handled all of my concerns and objections and gave me direct answers. She was kind, courteous and walked me through the whole journey.

I never felt forces, intimidated or lead astray. The whole team at Kanata Mazda was great and when the time comes I will return for my next car. Highly recommend this location and staff.

10/10 would buy again

The service dept.has to be the best service dept. I've ever dealt with, at a Mazda dealer.

They listen, they have empathy, they communicate, and are so quick!

This will be my Mazda place from now on!

Please stay away from this dealership.

I came for a used 2016 CX-5 that I really wanted to buy and couldn't go on a test drive. The sales lady (Christina) wanted to come with, when I asked why, she mentioned car theft. I was with my friend and we had parked outside. Also, you get to have a copy of my license with my address. Bad policy: accompany those who ask, find better ways of protecting yourselves and trust your customers. I felt like a potential thief, instead of a potential customer, so I decided to leave immediately.

I need to mention the horrible customer service as well: I could've used a bottle of water, It's hot out here right now. Also, given that you plan on coming along for a test drive, let me just have a few minutes with the car without you hovering. Don't need the extra pressure. If I have questions, I will find you and ask. Some customers need the extra attention, yes, figure it out.

Very disappointed. I called on Friday and talked to Ted to book an appointment to test drive the CX-5 the next day, Saturday. He said "11: 30 to 12: 00". I came at 11: 15 the next day and he was with a customer. He said "I thought we said 2: 30, but give me 10 minutes". I waited 30 minutes without anyone talking to me, and then i left.

To me, this is a very good indicator of the kind after-sale service you would get from this dealership. I would not recommend this dealership, but I will definitely go to another dealership to try, and most likely buy, the CX-5.

Would highly recommend staying away from Kanata Mazda. Moh Amouna was arguably the most condescending person I've ever met, his attitude towards us was pushy, cocky and downright terrible service. I see he has other bad reviews which I'm not at all surprised, our experience before meeting Moh was good at Kanata Mazda but unfortunately the lack of professionalism and service from Moh will forever put a sour taste in our mouths for Kanata Mazda. If you want to be bullied by a salesman and have passive aggressive lines thrown your way feel free to go visit Moh at Kanata Mazda.

Bought my current vehicle here. On the sales side, Moh was very easy to deal with always being available to answer questions and concerns, even months after purchasing. The purchasing process overall went very smooth. On the service side, it has never been an issue getting a service appointment within 24hrs. While my car is being serviced, regular updates have been so appreciated.

Terrible service, do not take your car here for service. First time I was there they stained my car seat, the A/C had a noise so I had to take it back because when they change the filter did not install properly. After that they never returned my calls. Not advise to go here!

Terrible service. Went to look at vehicles for a future purchase. I was told to sign in and spray some unknown sanitizer on my hands. No problem for the sign in, but I have dermatitis on my hands and can't sanitize with any product. I was told to leave because of that. I will never go back and never recommend them.
Reply: Thanks for the reply. I was not asked I was told to sanitize my hands or get out not considering other medical conditions.

Bought two cars here. No issues with the 2012 Mazda 3 over 220,000 km or the 2015 Mazda 3 with 140,000 km. When the cars go in for service never had surprise issues like other places. Great cars so far.

Yes I know I just jinxed myself.

I found the salesman and receptionist pleasant but the manager was combantant, unreasonable and rude. The issue was my medical exemption re wearing a face covering. The manager was completely inflexible and almost hysterical. Am i exaggerating? There were signs on showroom cars NOT to touch them at all. Because they were disinfected! I came in with cash and left without seeing any car at all.

I would not recommend Kanata Mazda. I met with Moh to discuss purchasing a vehicle and he was extremely pushy. He tried to get me to sign an offer before a deal was even confirmed. I felt very pressured. When I stated I needed time to consider the purchase, he proceeded to try and persuade me to sign immediately. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. Orleans Mazda was much better to deal with, it’s worth the drive to the other end of the city!

I bought a used VW from them and a month later i had an expensive issue, the car was out of warranty but vw covered the majority of the cost to repair and Kanata Mazda covered the rest. This is above and beyond what i expected them to do. Fantastic service after the sale and a great, easy experience during the purchase process. Thank you Kanata Mazda!

Moh helped us buy our car. He responded to our email inquiries quickly and professionally. We drove across the city to go to specifically Kanata Mazda. Moh upheld the offers that were mentioned in the emails. I didn't feel pressured to buy a vehicle. I would definitely recommend Kanata Mazda to anybody looking to buy a Mazda vehicle.

I've been using their service department for about 10 years. I am always confident that they'll never suggest repairs that I don't really need. Many times they have even recommended that I don't do a specific repair or wait to do it. I totally trust these guys.

As far as the cars themselves go? I bought a CX-30 (2021), and with 2022's CX-5 developed with the same technologies the options are only expanding.

Dont know the guys name at service department. And never had such a hard time with a service department like him. Told him i have a Mazda 3 need an maintainace, he said he doesnt know what service I am asking. Instead of asking me the year of the car, he said most ppl will tell the year of the car like making fun of me? Feels like he doesnt want to let me know the service price or even pick up my call at all. And he hang me up at last. Great. 2nd call didnt go to him and everything went alright, even the front desk know what I am asking for by asking the year of the car instead of keep saying I dont know what you are asking for.

PS: same request went through smoothly with Tom at Barrhaven Mazda, provided more info than I asked.and the annual service is cheaper than kanata Mazda.

PS2:was thinking about change two two stars becuz last oil change and contact was fine with Kanata Mazda and don’t want to give one star just becuz of an rude service guy. But from what I heard from barrhaven Mazda, Kanata Mazda is charging more than what Mazda suggested. 1 Star and bye. Be careful if you want to do more than an oil change with them.

I initially called inquiring about a used cx3 I saw on the website. Once I was directed to the salesperson, they indicated the vehicle was already sold and he seemed pretty rushed to end the call. After me asking, he said there was a similar vehicle I could take a look at instead. I went in with an appointment, he gave me the keys and then said the original vehicle was actually not sold. After taking it for a test drive, I asked the usual questions. He did say the car had a claim for 1500$. I asked him where the accident was on the car, and he refused to tell me by brushing it off telling me "you can't even get a new bumper for that amount". Given that it was in a unidentified accident I thought it would be fair to negotiate the price, he refused. I asked for the sales manager and he gave me a sad excuse that THE SALES MANAGER WAS BUSY DETAILING CARS? ! It was CLEAR AS DAY he didn't want to deal with me. Whether it's because I'm a young female from a visible minority, or that he thought I wasn't a serious buyer, who knows. He didn't even try to ask what I was looking for in a vehicle. When I asked if winter tires came with the used vehicle he litterally laughed and said that's just asking for money if a different way. He sat back and basically waited for me to leave, which I happily did. Needless to say, I 100% would never recommend this place. I ended up buying a new 2020 mazda cx3 the same day from a different mazda dealership.

This is an extremely late review (probably over a year) but I remember distinctly that I had an issue with my 2015 Mazda 3 Gt Bose speakers which were making a rattling sound on the right door speaker when the bass was turned up.

I went in to get it checked and was told my speakers were blown out and needed to replace the pair for $600+tax! I refused, went home and looked up my issue online.

Turns out it is a common problem with this generation of Mazda 3s. Basically rain water slips through the window when its opens and slides down into the speaker area and rots the plastic around the speaker, loosens the fit and causes a rattle. All I needed to do was take off the inner door panel and use super glue around the speaker so it doesn't come off anymore and boom, rattle gone.

I am certain the mechanics didn't actually inspect or investigate what my issue was and instead decided to use my ignorance as an opportunity to make more money. I'd be surprised if this was the first time they had someone come in with this issue as it is apparently very common so they probably knew exactly what was wrong with my speakers and yet still wanted to take my money!

This is a clear example of dishonest business practice. Stay away from this location!

I had to change my five star review of kanata mazda to a one star. I brought my key fobs in to have the batteries replaced. When I got my key fobs back one of them has a big chunk out of it. They wouldnt even admit they broke it. Told me it was probably like that and it just happened to fall off during the fix. I gave them a chance to just replace the casing and everything would be fine but they refused to even do that. Very surprised because I definitely liked coming to kanata mazda because. Must have a new manager in service or something.

Service wasnt great and kind of rude. Went outside for a walk while i waited for the work on my car to finish to see the mechanic driving my car like a madman complete with tire sketch and very high engine revving.

I just leased a 2018 Mazda 3 from this location and had a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Christina, who was the agent I worked with, was amazing. She is very nice and knowledgable about the car and its various features. I really appreciated the time she took with me to go over everything in the car and set up everything before leaving, especially since it was her day off. I highly recommend both the dealership and Christina.

We just bought a new Mazda CX-5. We love the car, and our sales consultant Christina Bellefeuille was very helpful as we determined what we wanted, and then in helping us learn how to use the new features. She went above and beyond the call of duty to come in to deliver the car on her day off, and also when we discovered that the roof rack we had just had installed was not what we had expected. The roof rack was the only negative part of our experience, and we would not buy one again, as the new design (solid rails on the sides) makes it very difficult to tie down a canoe. Also, my husband misses the CD player.

Just picked up my car yesterday from Kanata Mazda and was very happy with the service I received. Christina was the sales person and when I went to pick up the car she thoroughly explained and taught how to use all the car's tech features and even helped me in setting up my 'favourites' lists for radio, phone and adding the home address for the navigation. I definitely would not hesitate in recommending both the dealership and especially Christina to anybody who's in the market.

My recent experience with Moh & Kanata Mazda was simply. AWESOME. I love my new Mazda 3 Sport GS more than my VW Golf. I highly recommend this dealership and Moh my salesperson. Simply a great car purchase experience.

Tried to buy a car here, but they made it way too painful. One of the sales managers was obviously manipulative and made my skin crawl. The salesman himself was OK, but with such a bad mentor, he ended up giving my a lot of long winded blahdy blah about how they couldn't bargain on price.

Finally I made them an offer, and they played a sleazy trick: they said they accepted my offer, but really they hadn't. They would only give me a car that was on the lot that they expected me to pay $300 more than the offer they said the accepted. I guess they were hoping that I'd be so excited by my offer being "accepted" that I'd just go with the flow.

Really unethical. Stay away.

Just picked up a 2018 CX9, my sixth vehicle from this dealership. All I can say is that the staff are fantastic and I couldn't ask for a better experience. Save yourself the hassle of going to other dealerships and give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed.

Had a great experience at Kanata Mazda and I would highly recommend that if you are in the market for a new vehicle that you go and speak to Moh.we purchased a brand new Mazda CX 5 On August 21,2018 and I found that Moh was extremely knowledgeable, professional, polite, and took his time explaining every detail and opinions inside and out of the car.
I have bought many cars in the past and so far I found “MOH” the best salesman that we ever had so far.
Hats off to Moh I would give him a “10”

Everything about kanata Mazda was awesome. I really wish I got my cx-5 from here instead of barrhaven mazda. My screen died in my car and I took it to kanada mazda to have it fixed under warranty. They had the part ordered in super fast and set up a next day repair. They said it would be atleast an hour but it was like about 20 minutes. My car was even washed after and everyone working they was super friendly and helpful. I recommend getting a car here because of the level of service this place has, I'm sure it would carry over to the wells side of things as well. I will be doing all my service from this place from now on.

The person who guided me through my purchase was Christina. She was knowledgeable and guided me through the various functions and operation of the vehicle and the options without being pompous or condescending. A thoroughly pleasant lady.
The parts staff (Tia) were also very helpful when I requested an add-on of factory floor mats.
My wife was interested in the process and Linda at reception was very nice to her - my wife does not walk easily.
All told a pleasant staff, who aĺl worked together to make a major purchase an enjoyable experience.

Our experience with the team at kanata Mazda started in March 2018 at the Ottawa auto show where my wife and I specifically went to look at the 2018 Mazda CX-9 signature. We met Gianni and Jesse there and they were both very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in answering any questions we had about this vehicle.
Last weekend (August '18) my wife and I decided to bite the bullet and take this beautiful ride for a test drive. Coming into the dealership we were greeted by Moh, who ended up helping us. He was very up to date with all of the specs, features and general knowledge of the cx9 we were looking at and helped us from beginning to end on this purchase.
When finalizing the paperwork Moh got caught up with a customer but that didn't stop Andrew from jumping right in and taking care of us, making the whole process seamless.
Overall, I would have to say that the team at Kanata Mazda really does go above and beyond to make your experience very pleasant and I would recommend this dealership to any of my friends or colleagues.

Purchasing our Mazda was the easiest thing we've ever done!
We needed a new car and had been tossing around the idea of a Mazda 3. When we went to Kanata Mazda, we were warmly greeted at reception and were hooked up with Moh (our incredible sales man). He told us everything we could ever want to know and then took us for a test drive. During the test drive he took the time to show us all the safety features of the car, including sudden breaking and swerving. By the time we got back to the dealership we were sold! The 0% financing made it very easy to get a price that worked for us. We were able to pick our car up the next day (amazing!) and Moh again took the time to go through the paperwork with us and another staff member took the time to show us all the features of the car - setting up blue tooth, radio stations, etc). We drove away very happy with our car and our experience! I cannot say enough good things about Moh and the rest of the team at Kanata Mazda.as far as I'm concerned, it's the only place to shop!

I leased a Mazda 3 here about 2 years ago and Arnold helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I didn't feel any pressure at all and all of subsequent service visits went well as well.
