Kanata Noodle House

A great little Vietnamese noodle house with great food and fast service.the price was very good aswell.

They have really quick service and probably the best cafe sua da, in my opinion.

The rolls and big, and hefty, and I like that I can request my bun bo hue to not be too spicy. They have a lot of menu items, so it’s a great place to keep coming back to try new food.

Pad thai is delicious, as is everything else we have eaten here.
I highly recommend you check them out yourself.

This is a pretty good restaurant. Most of what we have tried has been good. The servings are generous & the staff is always friendly. We dine here once in a while & would recommend trying it.

Always such a good meal. A4 (app), C11, S15, D18, to name a few of our favourites! Spoke with the owner tonight, lovely fella. He has such a passion for his Noodle Houses.

My husband and I had our first date here 8 years ago and have been going many times per year since. Their S14 (chicken red thai curry soup) is unmatched and you can’t find anything like it elsewhere. Their rice paper rolls, peanut sauce and soups are the best!

Warning: The restaurant on Hazeldean Road has drastically declined in quality! Once one of my favorite restaurants in Kanata, it now serves only average dishes. Consistently erroneous takeout orders (received beef/pork instead of shrimp) with staff unwilling to correct their mistakes. Think twice before ordering takeout – expect merely passable food.

Great place to eat! That reviewer Sage is a total nut job.who the hell cares if a place doesn't serve vegetarian stuff? Like get a life you stupid stupid man. Anyways, i love Kanata noodles house and love their beef sashimi!

I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant.

The service is consistently poor, rude and flat out fraudulent.

When I tried several times to get in touch with a manager to voice my concerns, I was simply told that they have no manager.

I would rate them zero stars if I could. Very disappointed.

Very bad attitude from the waitress. Absolutely no respect for the customers. That attitude changes from one table to another. They should realize we live in Canada here and EVERYONE should be equally treated with respect regardless.

Even asked for wifi and got denied lol

Food is good with mainly Vietnamese and other popular Asian options (pho, vermicelli, pad thai). Staff is friendly and great for when you are hungry as the quantity is more than typical.

Food tastes great. Service is quick and food comes out quickly once ordered. Lots of choices. I recommend the beef stew with egg noodles or rice noodles. It warms you up especially on a cold day! You can also add a small amount of chili oil (free) or hoisin sauce (free).

Great Vietnamese food served plentiful, hot and fast! Always busy but always accommodating. A staple of the community serving delicious food in an efficient and pleasant manner. Clean, comfortable and spacious.

Loved this restaurant. Just wish it was near a rail station and I didn’t need to drive from one side of town. But worth the trip!

Food was great service was fast n friendly also super clean! The soup I ordered didn't come in a bowl.but was delicious nonetheless

Was looking for a place for a quick bite after having driven from Toronto that morning. In short, this is a great place for comfort food type of eating. We arrived around 2 pm on a Sat and the place was near full. Servings were large, flavorful. The ambience is what I would expect from a noodle house - no issues with it. I wish my neighborhood had a place list this. Would definitely return.

Fresh ingredients. I been going to two of three restaurants in Kanata, never been disappointed. I tried many different kinds of food on the menu.
VERDICT. JUST PERFECT. If your hungry the food is plentiful and sometimes a doggy bag is necessary! Enjoy! Oups! Great service too!

I moved from Montreal to date my gf in 2019,3 years later we are married and I stay in Ottawa. This is the first restaurant that impressed me in this city and it was a tiny part of my decision to stay (mostly my wife of course). Today Google prompted me to do a review of it so here it is:

Food: taste good and really nice portions. My favorites are the Roll Your Own Wraps, Special Seafood Noodle and of course the Vermicelli and Beef Stew Pho. We probably went here every time we visited our parents in Kanata, food quality has been consistent.

Service: no problem.

Atmosphere: usually busy but not crowded, a hidden gem not so hidden.

5/5 no brainer will come again.

Eat here! Wow wow literally amazing coconut broth chicken spicy soup with noodles, the quality of this food is beyond expected great flavours quick and friendly service, this is authentic and where you want to go for great value for your hard earned money, absolutely recommend! Wish I could give it 10 stars I loved the soup so much I couldn’t eat it fast enough! YUM! I would eat here every day if I had more cashola! Please give this place a try you will NOT regret it!

I went there myself. Waitress saw me and asked if I’m one person and left me alone at the front. I found a seat and seated there for a while, without anyone taking care of me, but they went to the other group. Very bad service.

I picked up a couples soups today it used to be delicious but last couple years has gone down the drain. The broth is not authentic very watered down probably use powder to make it. I had the pork and most of the pieces where tiny and the bigger pieces where chewy and not tender at all. But that broth is so darn salty today hence my review they also charged me 2.99 for a can!

Ordered a chicken pad thai for take out. Could not eat it more than a few bites. Has an orange sauce on it that ruins the entire pad thai. Never had a pai thai soaked in this orange sauce before. Could not taste anything but that sauce. Over saturated in it. I’ve had pad thai all over canada and in Asia and this is the worst one I’ve ever had. Had to throw it out. Will not be ordering at this restaurant again.

We normally get take out, which is always delicious. The Pho and Pad Thai are large, filling, and made with fresh ingredients. They're always prompt, even at peak hours.
