I recently purchased my first ever car (Corolla LE) from Kanata Toyota. Loren made the whole process smooth and easy, from test-drive to final sale, while answering all my questions along the way. For the pickup, Madison walked me through all the final paperwork and presented my car with a big bow on it - an awesome picture worthy surprise! Then she walked me through all the Corolla's setup and settings, and I was good to go. Overall, this was a great experience. The staff here really care about their customers. I will be returning here for my regular service!

I noticed couple of moths some marks on floor under the engine. Took it to maintenance and they said nothing wrong with it and it might be the air condition. Still the marks on the floor increased. I took it back and asked them agains to check it. This time they told me it’s the transmission hoses. Paid for the parts and waited couple of weeks to arrive and replaced.

Right after changing the hoses, I noticed humming noise when accelerating, then it increased. Again, I took it back, they said the transmission fluid is low, which is weird because they changed the parts and it shouldn’t be leaking. They said part of the transmission needs to be replaced and it costs $7,000.

They expect me to pay $7,000 to fix a problem they created. The car is worth $20,000, that’s more than 1/3 of its price.

Very disappointed, and heartbroken, I entrusted them with my car and they destroyed it. I dont think they did it on purpose, I just think they are very sloppy and irresponsible.

Anyone knows a good mechanic?

Bought a brand new truck and it was delivered with dusty back doors, stains on the upholstery, steering wheel was rubbing up on the steering column and the alignment was so off the steering wheel was pointed off to one side. They drove it for 60km (to another shop for options to be installed) and never noticed? I noticed the second I got on the highway, got off and went back. They did do an "alignment" (keep reading) on it when I brought it up. Then, on my very first drive home with a BRAND NEW truck, the tire pressure monitoring system failed. Had to go back a few days later to get it fixed. When I picked up the truck there was used oil on the inside of my door. They cleaned it, but it's not something that should happen in the first place. Speaking of oil, they over filled the engine by over a liter and I had to drain it so as not to potentially cause further damage to my engine. The handling was weird so I took it to a local shop for another alignment. They told me the alignment was off. So these clowns probably just "straightened out" the steering wheel without actually aligning the wheels. Now it's come to my attention that one of my rear window motors is screaming for it's life when it's being used so that's another trip to a dealer (definitely not this one) to get fixed. I'm selling this POS at a loss and buying something that isn't a Toyota. This many problems at under 1000km is a joke. Buying a new vehicle (even a lemon) should be a fun experience but this dealership and it's poor preparation of the truck made it an awful experience right from the start.

Staff are not helpful AT ALL.couldn't answer a simple question over the phone about if there's a software update available and guy told me I'm just complaining the car doesn't have enough power

Would like to give a shout out to Adam Roy in the Parts dept, who went above and beyond when helping me out last week.

It would've been easy for him to just locate the part and send me on my way, but he instead took the time to answer all of my questions, and help ensure that I understood everything.

Gotta love this level of customer service, which, let's face it, is far less common than it used to be.

Looking to buy a Toyota car? You should reach out to Aron and his team, I made a purchase of Grand highlander hybrid at Kanata Toyota. Aron has extensive knowledge on car technology and is easy to communicate. Although Toyota has great demand Aron and Viet has provided great customer service.

Don't deal with Geoff and Harry they both play dirty games on your info. I placed an order for GH hybrid with email info and they wanted to deceive me with getting me Gas model I didn't even order.forcing me to accept it.

I gave deposit 3 months ago for GH Hybrid with WRITTEN bill of sale then they called me the car is there not like other dealership who give you VIN and build date. I took a day off as they had to get it done then I went to find a Gas model and different color than what I ordered they wanted to sell me despite I have a WRITTEN bill of sale with different model and different color without any apology or explanation.don't waste your time or money there.

Update: so Aaron what do you call it then if you wanted to sell me another car assuming you didn't order the one I asked for? A CHEATING?

Literally just walked the lot with my husband and daughter, couldn’t find any new inventory. To top it off, not a single sales rep came out to help us or ask if we needed anything. It was completely dead there on a Saturday morning. Don’t waste your time.

Worst place to deal with. Sales department is one of the best as far I know and love to deal with Derek and Aeron. Service department needs big changes for better business. Only deal with kyle in service who can help you and give you good solutions for your vehicle and not like other who said direcltly No with no solution.
One suggestion, don’t visit this place for service if you like your vehicle.

I just got my new car. I am so happy with my experience. Derek Peace is an amazing person that I worked with. You can definitely see that he loves his job.

It'd been almost a year since the order, and during this time, I texted him and emailed him many times. He got back to me very respectfully and helpfully. It must be hard to deal with people like me. Thank you
