The staff are absolutely amazing, very hospitable and kind and greets you with a smile.

The atmosphere is also very nice, cozy, clean. Spacious with lots of seating available and nice sofas and comfortable chairs.

We've had food at many other similar restaurants (Naan kabob, Bamyan, and other kandahar kabob locations) but my husband and I did not enjoy the food here. The portions were great but the food itself was disappointing. We dined in and the kebabs got cold and you could see the meat get all dry from all the butter/oil and could taste the oil in each bite. I had to drink a ton of water to balance out the amount of grease I ingested from the kabobs. It wasn't a pleasant experience and I don't think I'll be coming back again. I came here once a few months ago and had the chicken shawarma which also was not to my liking.

Again, very cozy place, great people, just was not a fan of the food.

This is the second time that we were served with rotten meat and bread. The Beef Kabab we ordered was stone-like hard and full of added spices (which we hadn't requested). It looks like this location sells non fresh beef and the dough they prepare doesn't have enough ingredients needed for tasty breads. Do NOT order Beef here

Im an Afghan and i barely ever go out to eat afghan food because i get it at home. Let me tell you, well worth the first time. I went with my family for a late fathers day dinner. I will be coming again. I ordered a chicken wrap kk fries and chicken kebab with rice. It was amazing. It wasn't overly expensive, and the portions were just perfect.

The place has gone down hill. Staff are rude, bathrooms are dirty and have no hand soap. Food quality is bad. Sad, was one of my favorites.

Worst experience!
The sauces had very bad smell in them like they were rotten. We told them to take them away because they smell really bad. We saw them giving the sauces to other people after telling them they are rotten!
The bread was not fresh at all, my niece couldn't even chew it.
The worst part was when we told them and asked for the manager, one of the employees said she is at the back, will be there shortly. We waited and no one showed up!
We went to the front again and asked for her they said she is not working today. As they stated manager only comes on the weekend. What kind of place are they running where the manager only comes on the weekend.

Service just keeps getting worse and worse. I placed an order over the phone 60 mins ago for pick up. Person on the phone said order will be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant and they didn't even start the order. Service is pathetic. If you call the phone number it goes to a central ordering phone line system. Even the people on the phone are useless. The first person hung up on me when I told him my issue. When I called the second time, the person said he'll call me back, and never did. Only thing going well for this place is the taste of the food. Besides that, this place is trash. I'll change my review when they can rectify the issue.

Ordered 2 small Beef Shawarmas, it was so tasty!
The bread was soft and soooo yummy:)
I would 100% order again and will order again.
Appreciated the ‘made with love’ comment on the take-out bag.
Definitely recommend and will try other menu items.

Horrible! Their service is terrible-
I asked for salad it was literally just cucumbers. I was there for the 1st time so wasn’t aware their salads are that little. Especially if I am on a keto diet. When asked to please re make it as I wasn’t sure. It looked like I was asking for too much. We as a family ordered $150 item of foods and the other items were ok. Their food isn’t the best find something else if you can.

Was here to get a Chicken Shawarma wrap for my 3 year old. Was amazed to see how good the portion was and the chicken was unbelievably soft and tasty. Special thanks to Mr. Sana the chef who made the Shawarma for us.

Food is good, sometimes they take lot of time, and when they make vegetarian meals they uses the same non veg utensils.

They changed sauce and new sauce is like someone peed inside the original sauce and they serving that sauce.

Let's see where to start. I bought two Kofta dinners.the skewers were over cooked and dry. Basically needed a knife to cut the meat which shouldn't be the case. The rice was nothing special either.the other surprising thing is that they didn't include any sumac. For you kabob people out there having sumac on your kabob is a must.instead they included salad sauce and some kind of hot sauce on the side. The salad another disappointment. The lettuce was dry and looked like it was sitting out for the whole day.not even edible. Then they included 1 slice of tomato and cucumber. Times must be tough. Overall for almost $40 I can now see why this place has such bad reviews. I'll be going to the smaller restaurants instead of these franchise kabob one.what a disappointment.

Too pricey for a plate of Sultani. The worst part is they believe they own the market and people love their food so they think it's alright for them to charge what they charge. It's absolutely bizarre and unfair to the rest of people who can't afford it. Anyways, as simple as it should be, will never come back to this restaurant, as the fried fish jumped to $20 now and these guys charged like $2 for the small absolutely small size Nan not even costing 10 cents to make. Very greedy owners. I'm sure the price hiking will continue until everyone hells with it. Feedback means nothing to these people.

0 customer service no1 even says hi I waited at the counter for a while till some one came without hi or sorry the wait is long the lady has her back to the customer packing Uber does not care who is waiting to place there order disappointed with there service I will never go back

Long wait-Rotten/Burnt food-Very bad customer service.

I really wanted to like this place & I tried. I've given a couple of chances.

My most recent experience was the worst. Ordered food over the phone for pick up. Was told 20 minute wait time.
45 minutes later, still waiting for my food.

When I get my food, it's poorly packaged & the sauces have exploded all over the bag and takeout containers. (Paid extra for those sauces, so not only was it a waste of money, but it was a huge mess).
Proceed to opening my food, and there's brown rotting lettuce in my (poor example) of a salad.
And my meal consists of a mound of rice and a few scattered pieces of burnt chicken. What a waste of money. Such bad quality. I am so disappointed.

Proceed to calling their phone number to make a complaint and the customer service was even more of a mess. Apparently there is no manager there - they can't give me the managers contact because they don't have a contact, but yet they can contact the manager for me make sense out of nonsense. It was a huge run around with no resolve. They even told me to go drive back to the store to make a complaint. I'm sorry. What?

I can see from the other reviews I'm not alone in my experience. Which is unfortunate because this place had so much potential.
I highly recommend avoiding this place & there's plenty of other options in the area.

Portions are huge, place is clean with very good decor, but food is horrible. No taste, and my chicken shawarma tasted like fish. Their plates may be better but shawarma was a disaster.

You will be amazed with the portion sizes with any meal. I can usually order 1 meal and split it with 2 adults.

Portion sizes for this location are good. However, I believe the standards for the food itself has decreased significantly over the years. Food tastes bland and usually overcooked. Salad does not taste as fresh and when the location first opened. Front staff are friendly and easy to communicate with.

Great food, service is super slow and staff do not communicate properly with customer on how quick the service will be. I would definitley go back but make sure I either order I ahead or have lots of time to spare.

In such a short time some of their takeout went from great to pathetic. You get a container overflowing with rice and dinky chicken pieces. Doesnt look like the advertised picture.

I love coming to this place, the authentic of the kababs can’t be find else where! My favourite Meal is the house special KK the flovours melt in ones mout

Came to have a nice meal with my family. Ordered 2 plates that came with a beef Labaneach. The kababs were very visibly raw- completely pink inside. We thought okay they will resolve this and offer something for the inconvenience as we will have to wait for new ones to be made… guess what? Nope! The waitress comes out and tells us their cook names Manjeet is in a “mood” and is refusing to remake the kababs so she can ask him to make something else… oh and btw charge us for anything that costs more than the kababs we want. We were so shocked at what we were hearing- we tried to reason with her but she said Manjeet the cook is in charge right now and is refusing. Will be following up with the manager. So sad and pathetic how this place is run and how customers are treated. Came here with my two young sons after months of being locked in- trying to support a local restaurant. Never coming here again and will make sure everyone I know knows that unless you’re willing to eat raw meat or whatever the chef feels like cooking don’t bother coming to this joke of an establishment. Really making our community look bad- they will not survive with this type
of service. Really unbelievable when restaurants are trying to survive- this cook Manjeet is putting everyone at risk of losing their jobs with this poor behaviour.

Food was delicious and service was efficient. Loved that they bake the pita fresh. I had the falafel and it was fresh, crispy and flavourful. Husband had the beef shawarma. Both our wraps were fully stuffed. I'm excited this place opened and will be visiting again.

Only complaint is that they don't have everything on menue. Don't be put off by Nall location. Wrap made while you wait. Meat and sause fresh and as spicy as you want.

I could give their chicken shawarma a big ZERO. Absolutely no flavour, the chicken was mostly cartilage and fat. Do not come here for shawarma.

3rd time in 3 days can’t get enough of there food what ever I try is better then the previous day. Can some one tell me how food can taste this good I don’t understand why this place is not charging more for the food. Only downside is food can take a while before it comes but I guess it’s worth the wait.

Initially left a bad review for this restaurant due to a workers mistake on my order in the past but on my next visit another worker Vidhi resolved the issue and explained why it may have happened with a sincere apology. Their lamb shank is super tender and tasty with kabli pulao. Chicken sardari and lamb chops are also very good. Their orange sauce adds perfect taste to the meats.

Staff is friendly and courteous. We had minor mix up with the order and staff handled it very well. Very good ambiance especially for families. I’ll definitely come back again

Good ambiance and tastes good. Rice is not perfectly boiled or it might be like that because of Afgani restaurant. But chicken items are juicy and tasty.

Ordered a LG Kablie Palo and the sweetness reminded me of back home. Love the food here, keep up the good work

They refused to serve me the food I wanted and then took a half an hour to give me and my friends orders out which wasn’t what we ordered in the first place

Fantastic food and great ambiance! Their chicken kofta kebabs are still my favorite. They do a great job with all their meats including lamb chops and Veal. Highly recommend for good Afghani cuisine

Do not judge a book by its cover. Nice interior, great number of staff and reasonable price BUT very disappointed by the FOOD QUALITY and POOR SERVICE. Ordered shawarma and all I got in my wrap was a GREASY BURNED CHARCOALED MEAT taken from an OVEN DRAWER and not the skewer itself (how long it stayed there? !). The meat was so bland with no flavour. Service was not satisfactory either. More than 5 person at the counter chit chatting and you wouldn’t know who is in charge of preparing your order. No social distancing measures. No consistency in preparing the food. Ordered a couple sandwiches, a staff prepared one wrap and perhaps got tired and walked away, when I asked about the second one, someone just left the broom in their hand and made the other wrap in a hurry almost throwing it towards me.
Called the restaurant to speak to the manager about my experience and they hang up. This was Very rude and disrespectful will never go again and do not recommend this place at all.

Beautiful restaurant, and quite delicious food. Had the falafel platter and it's a huge portion.

I wish, I can give them really S**t reviews with some nasty words. I drove 30 km from Oshawa to Pickering to get food, Twice I was with my patience but It has been Third time that I am missing my meal on take out. First time I didn't get my whole meal, 2nd time no salad & relish and now the whole meal & salad. And adds on, the female on the cash counter was so ignorant, after paid the bill I was trying to make sure that I am getting my exact food but she said don't worry you have all your food packed and I was being agreeable, trust her thinking that she already have checked. But no, whole meal and salad were missing. Than I called them after but their manager said Oooh I'm sorry it won't happened again and than cut me off. I'm sure that either cashier intentionally doing that or management is being cheaped to rip take out customers by doing such things. Folks! I want everyone to make sure one's take out food before leaving the restaurant. Specially those who drives from distance. Thanks.

For $5 shawarma you can't go wrong. Adil and Sakshi does a great job and customer satisfaction. Well done KK for having great staff.

Visited this place last Saturday after friends telling me about there Shawarma it’s absolutely amazing and only 5$.

Went to Kandahar Kabab a few times and I have a couple of issues. First of all, they have limited amount of sauce not only are they constantly running out but they never alert customers about it if it’s a digital order.

Secondly their menu options, as a restaurant you should have all options available however they only have half of them and have made no effort to
change it. For example the KLC options, they never have the tandoori kofta or the Spicy IT Kabab yet it’s been on the menu since they’ve opened.

Finally how they treat the staff, they need to have a person at the front before ordering doing COVID screening/ proof of vaccination it should not be in line to order. Also they seemed to be a lack of leadership and training they all seemed to be understaffed and undertrained.

For example a girl who was working the cash would be called and have to clean all the tables. These issues have nothing to do with the staff but more so management, if you spot a problem fix it don’t force your employees to have to deal with it. Overall they’re not terrible, the food is mediocre I just think they need to put more effort towards improving these issues.

Nice experience, busy location but food was delicious. And the customer service was on top. Thanks to Sakshi at the cash for explaining & helping in choosing the dinner. Thanks KK:). I would recommend this place.

Love the Herati Kabob dinner and $5 Shawramas. The shawrama is such a good deal, how do you even make money?

Loved the fish I can not explain or tell you how good it was, I wished dine In would be not close as I like my fish fresh and crispy and these guys make it exactly that way.

Fine Cuisine with mouth watering kababs hands on. This visit I decided to order the keto chicken breast for 6ppl for lunch and must say it was a perfect diet option
