Our family has trusted Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, formerly known to us as R. S. Kane, for assisting with our passed on loved ones' care for generations. This year, we were faced with the loss of two dear family members and we couldn't have asked for better quality service. From the very beginning, Danielle was a wonderful source of support and comfort; articulate and professional, yet so down to earth, keeping us informed every step of the way, which brought peace of mind at a very difficult time. Inquiries were answered promptly and arrangements were done smoothly and to complete satisfaction. Philicia was very pleasant, understanding and helpful with the after care, thoroughly explaining documents and procedures in a thorough and knowledgeable manner.

Although our Mother had a long and very full life, it was a hard time for our family. To receive such care and sympathy from the minute we needed your help, is truly beyond words. The staff at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home (Thornhill) were superb in helping my family through a most difficult time. With first rate facilities, from first contact through visitation, funeral, burial and aftercare, their respectful patience, caring and attention to detail prevented us from being overwhelmed. (We were even able to chuckle through a silly moment when we did not recognize each other unmasked). My mom was treated with dignity and she appeared beautifully at peace for her celebration of life. We can’t praise the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home enough. From start to finish, we dealt with compassionate professionalism. Planning a mother’s funeral is difficult enough, but working with Peter Hughes, who was so patient and understanding, he was able to guide us through the process with a gentle efficiently. Then, on the day of the funeral, with Mr. John Kane at the helm, everything ran seamlessly. Not a single glitch. He was the consummate professional, timing every detail with the precision of a seasoned choreographer.
Also, staff showed a solid understanding of Armenian culture & traditions, and the whole process moved along flawlessly.

I wish to thank the excellent staff at Kane-Jarrett for their dedication and expediency in caring for my late Uncle, as well as for their patience in answering all of my questions. Every director and staff member I met were extremely compassionate and I felt not only my Uncle was being well cared for, but that I was being cared for emotionally. As I was not familiar with the area, and highly emotional running on almost no sleep, both Danielle and Andrew offered to direct me home, Andrew even walked me toward the stop as my eyesight is not great when looking at far distances. It was raining - and it didn't bother him a bit. As I was unfamiliar with the area on my first visit to prepare for the cremation, I had called ahead to see if I could make it on time. I made it 11 minutes before closing, and the staff stayed well after, with no complaints, just to be of service. The urn is absolutely beautiful and I have confidence my Uncle was treated with dignity. I was also offered free counseling by the funeral home by Andrew, which is much appreciated - their service doesn't end once remains are received. The staff at Kane Jarrett truly care to answer all questions and offer assistance where needed. The facility itself is very well maintained, and presents very respectable stmosphere.
