One of the worst experiences in my life, we went there for breakfast, and they served us leftover bread,

Post-renovation, the food is top-notch! Don't miss the mini chicken, kebda Iskandarani, and feteer – they're fantastic. The helw koshary is a must-try delight. The revamped menu truly impresses. Plus, it's an ideal spot for big parties, offering a flavorful experience for everyone. Highly recommend for a great time with delicious food!

After a rough night at Credit Valley Hospital we looked for a place thats not fast food. Karioka camw up and didnt dissapoint. The chicken shawarma was delicious and generous. Obid our waiter was great and steered us in the right direction. Only thing that was missing is hot sauce on the side.

Overall great food and I will be back.

The place is not clean, I saw cockroaches in the washroom. The food came too late.we only went there to eat feteer which was amazing and the guy that made it is so decent and I really hope he opens his own place

Food was great, everything tasted good and fresh. Service was also good, they described the food and helped us choose some of the dishes, even had a little table side service which we did not expect.
Negative points was nobody asked for drinks, later asked for water and none came, then a 2nd time and we were told only bottled but she did come back with glasses of water.

The place does need some tlc, broken window and whatever they use to clean doesn't leave thing looking clean.

Mash’Allah! My husband and I were looking for a place late at night. Karioka did not disappoint! Everything was so delicious and the staff was so helpful in suggesting new dishes. The master chef is a beautiful Egyptian auntie who makes everything perfectly. We got more than we could eat because everything was so good! We were happy to have it the next day for breakfast!

Delicious food. We had a mix from their menu including the Foul Eskandarani, feteer, and a few other things and were very very impressed by the flavours from each bite.

Order pikcup time is very bad, they dont prepare order untill customer go to pikcup
The front guy is extremely lazy and ignorant, extremely bad experience and very long times

Breakfast/ in
First time here yesterday. Have ordered fteer meshaltet with cheese, foul eskandarani, ta3meyah, hummus, kebdah, and red tea. The food was really tasty, and Omar was really nice to take time and explain the cuisine ingredients and how made.
Clean place, delicious food, the decoration delivered the Egyptian atmoshphere, price is fair.
The experience in total was amazing. One thing the food took time to be served.
Would like to go again and will try their shisha.

The food was amazing!
I tried the Friday special which is a Kebda (liver) sandwich. It was only $9 for a 12 inch sandwich and fries which is a great price. Usually the sandwiches are about $6 so for three dollars you get a whole half of a sandwich and fries! They have different deals every day.

Im not a big fan of liver, but I do want to start eating more organ meat, since it’s so it’s good for you so I ordered the Kebda initially to try it. I personally did not like the liver from the liver texture, but that’s ok cause it was a great deal and I wanted to try it. HOWEVER I do still recommend to it if you like liver because it was really delicious, I gave the rest of my sandwich to my mom who likes liver and she really loved it.

Since I didn’t finish the liver sandwich I tried a sujuk and a Kofta, each sandwich was $6 so 13 ish dollars in total after tax, since I got two different sandwiches. If you order 12 inch sandwich of one type it is around 9.99 which is a good price to pay for quality meat! The sujuk was delicious and flavourful with pepper and onion, I love sujuk and this one tastes great super juicy with lots of flavour.

The Kofta was served with pickles and onion smelled and tastes perfectly Smokey like kofta should. They were both great!

We also tried samples of their savoury crepes! I believe one was Philly cheesesteak crepe and the other one was a sujuk crepe.
They’re releasing the crepes on Monday, my sister loved those and said she will definitely be going back for the crepes.

The staff is incredibly friendly and funny great atmosphere and decor, lively music, comfortable seating. I would recommend coming in here for a casual and fun dining experience.

Food was amazing and I definitely recommend it. The shish tawouk was amazing and the chicken fajita was too!

Not only was the food amazing, fresh and a taste of Egypt. The atmosphere was beautiful and as if you were back at home in Cairo. The music, the art! The food and atmosphere was amazing, but the service was truly the best part. Adham was one of the best servers we’ve had at any restaurant. He made us laugh non stop and made us feel like family. Thank you so much Adham for the wonderful service and food! We promise to get the fatta bel lamb next time! See you next Tuesday!

Food, service, and ambience were excellent!:) We ordered the hummus, manakesh with beef and cheese, kushari, and chicken shawarma. Everything tasted extremely fresh and flavourful. My favourite was the hummus since it tasted freshly made and was served room temperature, which seemed very authentic to me. The portion sizes are fantastic as well for the price. I honestly felt like we ordered enough food for people as opposed to two people.

The food and experience is worth travelling an hour and all staffs especially Adam at the restaurant is friendly and considerate.

Nice spot for some delicious Egyptian cuisine. We go here occasionally when doing groceries at the store next door, trying different things each time. So far everything has been delicious. Outdoor seating is a bonus during Summer

What can I say! The quality of food is amazing. I ordered Koshari and mixed grills, the portion was satisfying and the service was great. All served juice was natural and freshly made. The service was great and all people working in the restaurant were super kind. Last but not least, I expected a high bill for the food I ordered but was surprised by the reasonable and fair price. I wish I was living in Mississauga to visit Karioka regularly, but I will put it on my checklist on each trip. Wish you all the best and I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who is passionate about middle eastern food.

The food was delicious and they serve you with a smile. Portion sizes were good too. Definitely recommend this place if you are craving for comfort food!

The food took over 40 minutes to prepare when the restaurant was empty, cost way too much for the serving size, and by the time I got home I realized they got my order wrong. Not worth your time or money

Great place, I went there with my friends and we had an incredible time. Place is very clean and food is AMAZING. They also play nice music and workers are very friendly. 10/10!

My wife and I have visited Karioka a few times now. The main thing i like about this place is that it's consistent. Food is always fresh and the service is always on point. After trying quite a few items off the menu, I would highly recommend the falafel, koshari, kabob plate, and hummos app. Keep up the great work!

Love the atmosphere and hospitality there. We ordered 3 different meals and all exceeded our expectations, especially the falafels - so fresh and delicious.
