Katana Kafe & Grill

The experience was wonderful. I brought a friend for a birthday dinner. She had always wanted to try Katana but hadn't until then. We were both so absolutely satisfied with the lovely service and delicious meal. We will definitely visit again.

Joined a client here for lunch after a business meeting. Atmosphere was really cool, watched the planes come and go.

Service was attentive. Food was delicious, we all had different items and no one was disappointed.

Service was slow. There was only one lady I know though she was nice. The food was not that great considering it cost us over $300 for four people.

Ordered an old fashioned drink that came out with hunks of orange/lemon/lime. It was an abomination to a classic drink. Did not even taste any alchol, just water and citrus, at least it had a cherry. Which turned out to be the only edible thing I could eat.

The food is just awful here. We did not even eat our meal and left our plates full but the senior looking lady asked if we wanted dessert.

They server everything with rabbit food so you have to pick it off to even get to your meal. My GF's pulled pork even had lettuce on it.

A very lovely cafe with a great location and an amazing view! We loved seeing the Katana flight club planes taking off and landing while having an amazing meal! Evry thing we ordered was yummy

Amazing view of the runway and a cool theme and decorations inside the place. Food was expensive and didn’t overly amaze. Really friendly staff.

Very exciting flavour profiles and a blend of newer cuisines and classic dishes with inventive twists that enhance the flavors without overwhelming those that made them classics in the first place. My wife took me here when we started dating. We went for dinner last weekend to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. This is a very special restaurant. There was an issue with a tenderloin ordered rare and arriving closer to medium (stuff happens) but the wait staff noticed when they asked after our first few bites and despite my reluctance to complain had another prepared immediately for me. This was the first time in my experience that there was something even remotely below par at this establishment, and the staff caught it and owned it and corrected it. There was no passing of blame or excuses. They were too busy just making it right. We all make mistakes and those that claim they don't are lying to themselves and will probably lie to anyone they have to in order to keep up the facade. The Katana Cafe is a legitimate gourmet food experience, from the location (facing onto the runways at London International Airport) to the atmosphere, to the food and the service. If you're looking for a special restaurant experience in London Ontario, then you need to try Katana Cafe. It's a hidden gem.

Went for lunch for my son's 13th birthday today. I can't say enough about our experience. The food was delicious. Our server was absolutely incredible. I unfortunately didn't catch her name. But she ensured that my son had the best birthday lunch! Highly recommend!

Food was awesome! Was also very interesting eating at the outside patio and observing all the aircraft traffic etc

Absolutely wonderful meal however we did have two oysters that were served which should I have left the kitchen. Great environment. Good to see all the planes leaving and coming into London Ontario

It's a favorite lunch spot of ours although I am hesitant to review it only because I don't want word to get out how great it is. Wonderful food, and you can watch the planes take off and land. Highly recommended.

We flew down to katana kafe and grill and had breakfast we got our food really fast and it was filling I would recommend for pilots

The atmosphere is great. Who doesn't love watching planes take off while dining on incredible food. London's best kept secret.

This restaurant is well worth the detour. The food is delicious and the service very friendly and efficient. Watch planes take off and land while you dine and check out the aviation themed decor. Definitely going again.

Food is delicious and generous portioned. They seemed to be short staffed so service getting a pre dinner drink was very slow to come.

We hosted a large family dinner at Katana Kafe & Grill. Heather was beyond amazing to communicate with via e-mail to coordinate our dinner reservation.

Heather delivered exceptional customer service when we arrived for our reservation! The food, and drinks were both delicious. It was a perfect evening, and our family had a wonderful dinner together. The views of the airplanes on the runway added to the overall experience!:)

We had a great Father's day experience at Katana. They were able to accommodate us last minute. Great service and our breakfast was delicious. Our kids had a great time watching the airplanes.

Took the family for Father’s Day. Over an hour wait once our food was ordered and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Waitress was non attentive and had to go find her to get drinks and answers on the food.

Some food was cold, but overall the food was good.

So glad we went here! Planes taking off right in front of you, all the time but not loud, food amazing and service was great. Great atmosphere and prices were reasonable too.

Food was so much better than expected especially for lunch. I had the open faced salmon which was amazing as was the side salad. Girl friends had the fish and chips and it was wonderful. The soup of the day was also great. We are going to come again for dinner

I love the Katana Kafe, I always make sure to stop by for lunch when I come to town. The food and service are amazing. Awesome views of the runway, too!
