Kaufman's Your Independent Grocer Walkerton

Its good if you need something out of convenience. The prices are high so I always get just what I need last minute. One thing I did stop here for was their in store baked goods, but recently I noticed they removed the packaging dates from their labels.last few things I picked up were very stale. Such a waste of money. If im spending $6 on a box a cookies I want freshly made stuff.not stuff that has been sitting there for 5 days already. Cookies were stale, the croissants were stale, and so were the donuts. Wont be buying this stuff anymore.
I think the packaging date should be on the label even if its not mandatory. They did add them before but now they dont. I guess they dont like waste, and neither do I like wasting my money.

Had been to this location under a previous store. The Independent had more items than I've seen at larger locations and I will be back.

Lovely owners and great staff. The amount of jobs provided to students is beyond awesome in our small town. An amazing selection of products, their eco.conscious & organic options are constantly evolving. Don't have what you are interested in? The number of times I have been told someone mentioned it only to have it offered shortly after is incredible at this point. Nothing but great things since Kaufman's took this over many years ago& they only continue to do more!

Best option in Walkerton for groceries. I do find myself heading to Hanover however for a better selection and better pricing. This is a solid second place if I don't want to make the extra drive.

Moderately priced but great selection and with prices what they are these days its still competitive
