My first terracotta pot from Kawa Canada just arrived! Perfectly and securely packed in foam, I was impressed! Put it on our mountain pool patio and loving it!

Purchased two beautiful XL pots last season and loved how they fit in with my raised vegetable garden area. As the snow began to melt I noticed a crack in each planter. As the temperature continues to warm up, these pots have begun to peel apart. It looks as though moisture was trapped in the clay and what once was a linear crack, has progressed to damage that truly cannot be patched. I live in Nova Scotia (Zone 6b), and just want those with similar swinging temperature changes to be aware of this!

Surprisingly enough, my other (much cheaper), terracotta planters have held up fine over our winters. Perhaps it was a 'one off' manufactured defect but am nonetheless quite disappointed with the outcome having purchased quality planters.

My order was delivered within 2 hours of placing the order!:) The terracotta used in making the planters is so much better than the ones we see at Canadian Tire/Home Depot. My plants are so happy. Highly recommend Kawa Canada. Only wish the price was slightly low. Nevertheless, I am still gonna replace all my planters with that of Kawa’s.

This is my favouritw pottery store. Having visted greece and croatia and being obsessed with their planters everywhere i was looking to get my own in canada. The owner and his wife are so lovely and friendly. Me and my wife have been back a few times!
