Good food, good service. Ordered the short ribs and it came sizzling and glistenin! Tako Yaki was very good!

There are only 5 frozen dumplings in the rice cake and dumpling soup, and the price is almost $20. Honestly, at this price, I think it would be better to buy bibigo dumplings and rice cake soup at H Mart and cook them yourself. Even though it's called eating out, the quality of the food was very disappointing compared to the price. It is more accurate to say that it is not rice cake and dumpling soup, but rice cake soup with frozen dumpling toppings.

Other than the recent lunch special menus, the quality and taste seem to be lacking.

When ordering, the hall was very spacious, but there was no order bell, the server was busy, and it was difficult to receive service because it was obscured by a pillar in the middle of the hall. I remember there was an order bell when I visited before, but now only traces of it remain on the table.

Food is fine, service is great, price is kinda high unfortunately, effect of inflation. If you wanna satiate your Korean craving this is an okay place if you don't mind spend a pretty penny.

DELICIOUS FOOD! VERY POLITE STAFF! Did not eat in, but the decor and atmosphere seemed lovely when I went in to place my order and pick it up. Hope to eat in some time.

Late at night and felt hungry, Kayagum Restaurant is one of the nice Korean restaurants to drop by. Tried bibimbap with fried tofu (big pieces) actually, not bad! It's not purple rice but lots of veggies that I like. Side dishes were ok too. Thanks! It opens to 2: 30am

This place was my favorite spot and I love the food here but today because of our waitress's behavior I will never gonna come here again! She was so rude to us and gave us a hard time.

Delicious huge hot pot for 3-4 people with tender veggies and beef, all for a reasonable price of about $45.

Would give less star if I could. The bare minimum a restaurant can do is serve the food. The server forgot to bring our side dish first. Then, the food I ordered was not even made in the first place. The manager said that they can give me “free drink” by drink they meant “coke”. I said “no thanks” and my boyfriend paid the food he had. Thank god his food came. If the server forgets to put in the order or kitchen forgets to make the food, the least the manager could do was give us a FOOD that is complementary. Not a 3 dollar drink. Not coming to this place again.

Bad service and bad food.
I asked for extra sauces, I didn’t get it until I finished food.
For the kimchi pancake, it is even raw inside. The chicken rice it made me feel like the chicken is not seasoned, so it tastes so insipid.

I mean if you want Korean food, you have to go to North York, and why not go somewhere within walking distance of the subway? The service was good, the food was good. We ordered quite a bit, and everything was great. I would highly recommend this spot. The ambiance isn’t great however, it looks like a refurbished Japanese restaurant.

Though service kind of took a while, we were all really happy with the food and the servers were very friendly and kind. Would definitely come back!

The person who took our order got one of the items wrong and when we told her, she didn't really do anything because we were stuck with it at the end. She said sorry but more in a way of "sorry, but you have to take it now" kind of way. It was really awkward

The service here is great and the food is tasty. I don’t know if it’s the BEST Korean food I’ve had, but it was pretty good! I’d recommend the army base stew and marinated pork. The place is really nice and spacious, so good for bigger parties!

Good restaurant that opens late. Great food and drinks menu selection. Good service and nicely designed. Patio available.

Nice place. Kind staff. If you're going for lunch on a workday come a little earlier to avoid a crowd. Meals come with side dishes. I would go again.

3.5 stars * Food is good, yes but unfortunately, the price is too high for the quality and quantity of the food. We have been going to this restaurant since we moved here last year. However, they keep decreasing the size of their cheolpan bulgogi overtime. Also, the corn cheese was too small for $17. Honestly, better to go to a fancier restaurant and spend almost the same amount of money.

A nice Korean restaurant located conveniently. The food is very homey and flavorful. I would recommend their pork dishes, they were delicious and filling. However, given the location of Yonge and Finch I believe there are better Korean restaurants in the area. However, this restaurant is worth trying.

For my date's birthday dinner, I went to this Korean restaurant with his friends. Everyone ordered their own food, so my date and I shared a chicken teriyaki bibimbap. We also had corn cheese, which I had never tried before! The food is incredibly tasty and fresh! Before we got our food, we were also offered a couple side dishes. I notice a small button on our table that calls for service, making it simple to place an order and ask additional inquiries.

This lovely night was really enjoyed!

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and brought a huge group. Which they accommodated. The food was pretty tasty. We ordered alot of food and shared it amongst our table. The staff was super pleasant and very helpful. Really great experience.

Over priced food and low quality, I've been in this place twice and it was like this each time even tho my standards are very average
Chicken smelled old and salmon was greecy
There is lot more places in the area that you can go for sure with better price and higher quality

Food is okay, service is awful. Ordered a drink and never received it despite asking for it at least 7 times. Came out of it very thirsty.

Had the best Don Katsu here! Service is amazing. The waiters/waitresses were so nice and jolly. I love that it also closes late. Thanks Kayagum!

Favorite place for late night Korean food. Their soft tofu stew is so good and i love their version of takoyaki and blood sausage.

Great restaurant. Loved the rice cake dish and the bibimbap. Service is great. Restaurant is clean.

Completely messed up one of the takeout orders, refuses to deliver a replacement or offer a partial refund.

Very disappointed with the portion size and inflated cost. I understand covid has been hard on businesses but 30% cost increase with 1/2 the portion size. Sad.

The worst jjajangmyun ever. Please don't call it as jjajangmyun.just oniony, no taste AT ALL. Also very small portion for $13

Foods were not good. They didn't even check the proof of COVID vaccination on each customers. I didn't feel safe eating there at all

We nicknamed this restaurant "the sheep place" due to comfy seats. We tend to come here often to enjoy the food and experience.

The staff here are very friendly. The kimchi is delicious, and the sundae soup in particular does not have a fishy smell and has a deep flavor of soup.

Patio and dine in service has been great, food is always amazing- one of my favorite Korean spots in North york!

Bulgogi and Don Katsu are super yummy; they also always give free unlimited side dishes which I love!

The service was fantastic, and the servers and staff were so kind and friendly making the whole experience a definite return visit. The food was fantabulous as well!

Went there on Saturday for lunch. The portion was a good portion and the price was good. The place was not very busy and the servers were very nice. I ordered the hot stone bibimpap and the temperature of the beef and rice was very very hot. Took a long time to eat it. It was delicious.

Such great food. My mum, a woman in her 70’s, has a recently acquired love for Korean food. Having not tried Kayagum before, I was hoping for the best for a delivery dinner together.
We got the galbi ribs, beef japchae, and spicy soft tofu and beef soup. We got rice with ribs and soup, kimchi and bean sprouts as well.
The taste was amazing. I couldn’t stop eating. The food was hot when it got to our home.
Can’t wait to try in person dining when we’re more comfortable going out. Thank you!

Went there to try their “army hotpot” waited over an hour, finished the side dishes and asked for 2nd to find out that they forgot our order. Food was decent but definitely not worth the hour wait.

It was super busy when we came here but so far it's the better Korean restaurant at Yonge and Finch overall. It's not small and cramped like the others and looks clean. We got the bibimbap and the seafood hotpot which were both satisfying. The servers were quite busy and ignored us for sometime as there was a line up outside, but the gentleman Ali made sure we were taken care of and made us both laugh. Overall good experience and will be back. Big thanks to Ali.

Omg such yummy food! I came with my boyfriend and father for a late Father’s Day dinner and we had a such a great time. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly and smiley, I felt super welcomed and we all left with very happy tummies. Will definitely be returning in the near future!

Had a lovely dinner on the patio on a Sunday night. Mary-Ann was excellent, friendly and really lovely. It's pretty clear the servers are working extremely hard to get to everyone, the management could definitely add another server or food runner. We had a great time and the food was great. Our appetizers were refilled and the drinks were cold. Thanks for a great experience!

I have come here after work on late days with a group a few times. The food is good quality. Many times we had to remind the employees to get some water for the table. Whether it was a busy day or a slow day with few customers, it has happened in both situations. There is a considerable amount of dust gathering near the back area of the restaurant.

They used to serve really decent don katsu (good portion and yummy sauce), but they changed it up and lost my favour. Also, my friend had the nengmyun that came with a few slices of beef that actually looked like it went bad (it was silver/purple) and it smelled awful. My friend took one bite and called it quits. I can't say I had the most pleasant time being served either. Once the waitress completely forgot my order, and I ended up not getting my food until all my friends were done eating. Another time, I ordered one menu, but the waiter gave me the wrong one and charged me extra. I never go here anymore because the quality of the food dropped, the waiters were unreasonably unkind or professional.

One of the hidden gems on Yonge st! Amazing sushi for a great price, amazing Korean dishes! Been going here for a while now and every time has been a great experience. Highly recommend this place!

It is a very quiet place to eat near the Finch station. Food is good and the service is also admirable.

My go to place whenever I want late night food (thank you for being opened so late). My friends and I are insomniacs and we often don't have many choices since everything closes around 10-11pm. The Japanese/Korean food is good and filling. Prices are fine, and some tables have buttons to ping the service. Other than that, I go to Kayagum really often and always been satisfied. The staff is also nice.

My boyfriend & I ordered the ‘Roll/Tempura Bento’, the ‘Vegetable Udon’, and the ‘Spicy Pork Stone Pot’! Despite that they were busy, low manpower, and the employees must’ve been super tired at 1: 15AM, their service was great! Very fast, efficient, and humble. They seated us right beside the door and it was really cold. They kept forgetting to close the door for us or move us to another seat which kinda sucked but the food was good.

This is one of my favourite restaurants to eat at and it’s also 24 hours! Their chicken katsu is TO DIE FOR! That sauce is absolutely amazing and we’ve tried to recreate it but we never seem to get it right! Also they have all you can eat appetizers (their potato salad is soooo good-something I look forward to eating every time I come here). I suggest eating it with the coleslaw on top like in the picture, it adds to the flavour! Every dish comes with rice as well.

Chicken Katsu is amazing here, during the day they make it different though, i could describe it as slightly over cooked. Otherwise they would get five stars across the board. Other than that if you do happen to go during the night it does get kind of busy. They have ringers on the table to assist you on your order but some tables don’t have that, which make it u just at times (knowing that people are getting assistance at their convenience and you have to wave a waiter down)

Visited on a thursday evening after a recommendation from a Korean national and I was not dissapointed. I have not visited too many Korean restaurants, however, I was given help with the menu, the BBQ Samgyupsal was good, pretty meaty and full of flavour. The wangkalbi beef was served wrapped on the bone and was excellent too. The restaurant was half full and the waiters were a little busy, however, I was in no rush. The meal was very enjoyable, I'd say I paid for the quality, yet, I'd visit again. Also tried the tofu soup a tomato spicy base, not sure what it was called, yet, very good too.

Nice restaurant with both Korean and japanese food. They have many booths so the set up is very private and the lighting is a bit darker which is nice.

Bad service. Waiters pay no attention to customer, we sit there for 40 mins and nobody come help us to order, worst service ever.

Service is pretty good, food is pretty good, plus it is 24/7 so at 3am when you are hungry they are a pretty good option. Thei JaJangMyum is pretty good but the sauce does seem to lack a little.

The person who served us was extremely rude. Just as we were ordering for a second round she comes up and gives the debit machine asking for a favour. Basically kicking us out. Bear in mind the place was half empty and quiet. Our waitresses name is Jenny.

This was my 1st time visiting a Korean restaurant and i realy liked it, food was good, staff was also very caring and overall place is also good

Solid. They weren't too busy during lunch hours last week. I like that the booths are rather private. There's a buzzer you can ring if you want the servers to come. The menu is filled with Korean and Japanese staples, and it's fairly extensive. I don't remember how much my lunch bento cost, but I remember they have raw oysters for pretty cheap (6 for $10?). I got a tonkatsu bento and it came with a very saucy tonkatsu, two shrimp tempura and a few veggie tempura, soup, salad, a scoop of potato salad, and I can't remember what the other banchan was, but there was another one. It may have come with rice but I'm not sure because it didn't show rice in the picture, and I jumped the gun and asked for mine without rice. The kimchi that came with my friend's soon tofu soup was quite a bit spicier than I'm accustomed to my kimchi being. The potato salad was quite tasty. The tempura was decent. The tonkatsu, as I mentioned, was saucy. As in COVERED IN SAUCE. Mayo and a more ketchupy/vinegared sauce. Still not bad. There's nothing I especially want to come back for, but there's also no reason why I would refuse to return.

This restaurant has variety of Japanese and Korean food the price of the food are fair and the food is quite delicious, Customer service is fantastic but getting the bill may take a while sometimes if they are busy

Being a 24h restaurant, this is currently the only spot I know of to get sushi at 4am.good variety of both sushi and korean dishes, tasty.parking kinda tough to secure; spots in front of restaurant are limited

This place is not too bad to experience korean food with readonable price. But quility isn't so good. Good thing about it is they open for 24 hrs. I don't think I will come to north york just to visit here.

Been visiting this restaurant for a few years now. Very friendly staff. A menu filled with many options and delicious Korean food. Reasonable prices.

Love this place! So many options price not to bad! Did have to wait for service a bit but the food more then makes up for it!
