Were going to order via Uber eats and total was $25. We decided to go pick it up instead and save the company/restaurant any extra fees they might pay to Uber eats so we called them and when we went to pick up the food the total ended on $34. Price is way too high and portions very small.

We just left Kebab 49, because nobody served us during the 15 minutes of waiting behind the table. There are a lot of waiters but all of them just walk around " like very busy" Inside there is a weird smell and they don't allow us to change the table. We left to a different place. Don't suggest to anyone to go there.

Decided to dine in after ordering online. The location is convenient, there is some parking available. When we arrived the restaurant had a smell (wet cloth). We got used to the smell eventually. They have plenty of space for large parties. There are tv which feature the chef preparing the meat and their menu.

We tried the baba ganoush, I did not like it much. It had a taste, the best way to describe it, it tasted like lamb.

We tried the various platters, ground chicken, Adna & chicken kebab. The bulgur is very tasty, full of flavour. They also fill half of the plate with onions, carrots, salad etc. The meat itself was tasty, it came fresh, the chicken was full of flavour. I have previously tried their tenderloin and I have to say that was probably the best.

The staff was very friendly, they checked up on frequently. Overall, it was tasty.

I don't know why anyone would give a 1 star review to such a restaurant. The food and the customer service was top notch. We were offered glasses of water for free and free tea as well. I have been their customer for many years. Their quality of food and customer service always remained the same. Thank you for maintaining your quality. You guys are the best.

Tried this place for the first time with my family. Food was amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive. Our server Kan was awesome! We had a great time dining in. He didn’t mind we were a bit crazy and joined in on the fun. Definitely recommend!

Great food and fantastic service. I respect that the portions are big, and that they give you more bread if needed. The service was great, and they even gave my buddy and I a complimentary Turkish tea. I will definitely be returning.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the grill meat platter and everything was succulent flavorful along with all the side dishes that were Hardy and balanced out the entire meal. The service was decent, and the atmosphere was okay but but could be freshened up. I would definitely go back here for good Turkish food. Make sure you try their Kunfe

I was recommended to check out Kebab 49 and I definitely made my way down to celebrate my birthday with the family at an awesome authentic Turkish restaurant WOW. A nice comfy dine in restaurant for you and your family, the food was amazing can taste the flavor in every bite! Service was great very kind people, employees were very helpful looking after the table in anything we needed refilled or plates being cleared without even asking. The quantity and quality of the food is very good definitely I'll be coming back to try other items.

Poor customer service but great food. Employees are rude and grumpy all the time because it is always crowded and they seem to be understaffed. Hire more people for better customer service and fix the ladies’ washroom tap. It’s been almost a year and it is still the same terrible water tap.
Food is absolutely great that’s why we keep going back, even though they have a horrible customer service. We adore their Konafeh and mixed grill platter.

Kebab 49 is a great place to go for Turkish food outside of the action and noise of downtown Toronto. For being a small restaurant in Etobicoke, the food here is authentic with flavours that leave a lasting impression.

You wanna try delicious kebob. Don't even bother to try this one. Go somewhere else and make some use of your money and time. Prices are three time of what the taste of food is. Not worth it at all. I left $45 worth of food and didn't touch the extra rice. They didn't ask me if I even liked anything or why am I even leaving it.

Amazing doner.the bread is so fresh and their fire oven is unreal.they have a really nice patio which at night is lit up really cool.absolutely recommend this place.very affordable

Do not go to this restaurant, I wish if I can give them less than a star, the waitress are absolutely rude, they don’t have any clue about customer service.
Two incidents occurred at this place.
I usually go to this restaurant every week, but apparently I will never go again.
I usually come and sit in the patio right away, So I was waiting for someone to take my order AS USUAL, then the cashier came up to me and approached me in a rude way and he told me why did I sit here without letting him know, I told him do you want me to step outside, he said it’s fine in a rude way.
Second time my mom was sitting on the table and other waiter asked her to change the table that she was already sitting on because there was a group of people waiting outside, which is really rude.

Inconsistent!
Sometimes the food is good.
Sometimes the staff are nice and welcoming.
Sometimes the restaurant is clean.
I was okay with (sometimes) because I felt like this is my place.
However, Today’s experience was horrible, the manager made us feel like liars, and that we try not to pay the 18% service that should be paid by groups of 8+.
We were two families that happened to be there at the same time, we wanted separate tables, we didn’t want to set together, this was the truth.
Yet, the discussion with the manager was sickening to the extent that we lost any desire for food and we did not enter the restaurant and we left.
And we will NEVER go back again.

Got a mixed kabab platter. Meat was dry & cold not enough sauce given and old salad I have to throw it & it was just disappointing after spending close to $70

One of the best Turkish Kebab places in the GTA, these folks know how to fine grill.

Every item on this menu is worthy of a try, even their desserts are good, try the Wooden Baked Rice Pudding. Absolutely incredible.

Not allowed to request anything changed added or subtracted from what you ordered.
I asked for one thing no garlic sauce instead may I have hummus instead. Don't eat garlic. They said absolutely not. Take into account im ordering a shawarma. Not a crazy request.
These guys need a lesson in kindness and customer service. Instead your treated like your not welcome take it or leave it over priced as well.

These guys always deliver! Consistently get great food, healthy portions, and attentive service. I've visited several times in the last five years and not once regretted it. A local and family favorite. Highly recommend their Kunefe dessert. Insanely good! Pictures don't lie.

Split a veal doner plate and a turkish pizza plate with my cousin. Overall we both agree:
Generous portions.
Very Well priced.
Delicious food.

Service is a little slow but other than that, no issues.
