My #1 to go to hair salon for my curly hair. Maj is so talented. She knows how to deal with different hair types and what the client needs. She is very generous with her advice and very honest and not looking just to make money. I went today for a hair cut and a hair colour and she told me your hair colour looks nice and advised me to keep it until next visit. I mean, who does this? She is just so great.

Lindsey was absolutely fantastic. Great energy, took the time to understand what I wanted (even when I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted!), literally gave every curl attention. It can be difficult to find a stylist who understands and appreciates that cutting curly hair is different from cutting straight hair, much less one who can do such a great job. Definitely recommend.

Super sweet and tailored the cut I wanted to my hair type and overall was just super sweet about me getting a big chop done!

It was lovely to meet Lindsay for the first time today and to have her cut and style my hair.
She did excellent work and managed to deliver a well needed rejuvenation!:)
A pleasant experience that I look forward to repeating in due time.

Every time I visit I have a wonderful experience. I've seen a few different stylists and all have been so friendly, knowledgable and talented!

Renée was very attentive & I am grateful for her attention to detail. Not sure what I’ll do when she goes on maternity leave but hopefully Kelly will be able to solve my dilemma.

Sara took so much time and care with me. It took her ages to cut then style my hair giving me beautiful curls. She really wants her clients to be happy with their new style. It was a great experience. I love my hair!

I was able to book an appointment online for just a few days later. The stylist, Sara, was super patient and quick with my 7 year old son who was going from very long hair to very short. Everyone in the salon was friendly with him. It looks great and was a great overall experience!

My daughter had an appointment with curl specialist Amy today. The results were SPECTACULAR! I have not seen her curls so pronounced and healthy in years! She was very knowledgeable and easily vibed with my teenage daughter. My daughter is eager to return as Amy is, "so relatable". She was pleasant, skilled and eager to discuss our needs and wants as a client. We will definitely return and have found our new full time stylist. Thanks for a wonderful experience Amy!

Sara is fantastic. I had full foils and am very happy with the colour, just like last time I saw her, so she's also consistent which I appreciate. It's a very nice salon, bright and friendly, everyone seems pleasant and I will keep going to Sara:) My husband is getting his haircut by her soon and I know it will look great too!

Vincent, if your not booked with Vincent WHY NOT?
First off the Salon is super clean and very professional Karen answered my first phone call on the front desk. She was very patient as I had many questions and price was one of them. Karen made the suggestion that I try Vincent and there was a special excellent I thought. But I also was worried about the inexperience and would I get a mess? Anyway it will grow out if its bad lol. Appointment set I arrive to a very welcoming greeting with the offer of coffee or water and introduced to my Stylist (?) Vincent. Super polite and honestly his youth sacred me. I am out on a limb here and asking this very young man to cut my hair in the style it was when I was a teen. The 70s male hair with the part in the middle and feathered with a bit of a mullet (they are back). Laughing in my mind as I ask this very bright and super talented young man to do a hair style that went out at least 3 decades before he was even born. Well he not only nailed it but its better then the 70s and has so much more style. It falls naturally and look GREAT! I would like to also add that the scalp massage Vincent gave me was incredible one of the best I have had. I waited a couple days and few washes before I wrote this review. We all look great leaving the Salon/Barber. I look FANTASKIC even days later. Well my hair is fantastic thank you Vincent see you soon.

Amy was so sweet and kind and so patient! She was a magician and my hair turned out exactly what I imagined and I am sooo happy! Thank you sooo much Amy!

I came in to the shop yesterday with quite the challenge for curly hair specialist Amy. Not only had I been in denial about having curly hair my whole life (it's just easier this way, or so I thought), but once I decided to grow my hair out, I was worried about getting a haircut by someone just treating my hair like it's straight.

After doing some research, I took a chance on Amy and she has genuinely changed my life. I feel like myself, which isn't always easy being a genderfluid person. Her expertise made the experience not just an appointment, but a masterclass lesson on my hair type, and what it needs to thrive. I learned so much about my hair and it's made me feel like it's a part of me, rather than something I'm fighting against.

I can't wait till my hair grows out just so I can go back and see Amy. Sending everyone I know, curly hair and otherwise, to Kelly's.

Very friendly service and provided a great haircut. Will definitely be going here again. Fair pricing and nice atmosphere:)

I was long overdue and in dire need of a haircut and Lindsey did a wonderful job from start to finish! She was knowledgable in explaining all the treatments/products she used and what they would do for my hair. She suggested and gave me long layers to add some dimension and fullness to my long fine hair. I am very pleased with how it turned out!
Afterwards she helped me pick some amazing products so I can maintain my healthy hair at home!

Ally was absolutely incredible with my kids. The kindest, most patient woman I have ever experienced! And my daughter is so thrilled with her cut. Do not be shy about her being an apprentice, she is a dream and I will definitely recommend her to anyone. The entire team is lovely and the other work I saw done was stunning. Very cute earrings at the desk too, got to grab a pair next time!

Kaylah is amazing and helped me to better understand my hair and the product application/styling process. Walked out of my appointment feeling like a million bucks thanks to her!

I had Renee colour and cut my hair and she was so patient and caring! She knew what would be best for my hair and made the experience so comfortable too. I may or may not have fallen asleep for a few minutes on that chair it was that relaxing.

I really enjoyed my visit to Kelly's today. Sara was friendly and interesting. She asked me my preferences and she listened very carefully to my answers. I am very happy with my haircut! She gave me exactly the hair cut I wanted along with a few suggestions from her, which gave it a little extra pizazz! I'll be back.

I've been trying to find a place I liked in Ottawa to get my haircut, and I finally found one at Kelly's Barber & Beauty! I had an appointment with Renee, and she was great! She was attentive and made sure I wanted the haircut I wanted. I will definitely be coming back!
