My husband and I had a wonderful lunch at this location on Friday. The food was fantastic and are service even better. Jenn was very personable, friendly and made our first experience here very memorable. I highly recommend and we will be returning to this location again… well done!

If you are planning dinner at Kelsey's, go to Ancaster Meadowlands location and avoid upper james. The waitress was pleasant and attentive, and the food came in a timely manner.

Service is 10/10 always so on top of everything. Food has so much flavour and is always consistent. Kelsey’s never lets us down!

The service was impeccable and beyond courteous. We were greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. Staff was accommodating and told us some of her favourites and things to try. Our appetizers and drinks came out so quick and were so good. Dinner was fantastic and I will definitely be back to eat here. Way to go staff and management well done! The best part was the side salads. The hot dog was ok but nothing special, same goes for the wings. I guess I will have to try other options on the menu. Service was friendly!

I had dinner at Kelseys tonight and had a pleasant experience. The food was great and my waitress Bailey more than exceeded my expectations. Ill definately come back at a later date.

WOW, what else can I truly say? Amikah Made this entire experience extravagant. From the way her smile light up the entire restaurant to the caring way she asked us about our days and really made sure we were all taken care of. With such a large group, individuals can often feel Not included however with the way she came all around the table to chat we all felt included. I would say Amikah made this whole experience.

Overall food wasn't bad. The broccoli cheddar soup is not like it used to be, very watery and not creamy. Food took a very long time to arrive, and it's not like the place was packed. I'd still go back, but it's just not up to par of what it once was.

Great food, new look when we went to eat. It was busy and not really to loud. My wife said the bathrooms needed more attention because it was dirty. Other wise I will return.

Server Amikah gave us an extravagant experience. When you walk into the restaurant, she met our group of 15 with a beautiful smile and kind words. It lifted my spirits. She took our order with care and made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. When the food came to our table, we could smell the sweet aroma as she approached the table. The food was placed in front of me and I immediately fell in love. The flavours melted on my tongue for a flavourful experience like no other. Amikah made sure that my meal was to my liking and I was grateful that she cared so much about how my experience was. What an amazing adventure. Thank you Amikah. You have superceded all expectations.

Sometimes you just want to go for a nice dinner where the menu is clear, the food is done right, you get the service you need, and you don't have to pay a fortune. We had such a dinner tonight, where I pronounced the salad (nothing fancy, just a nice salad with some chicken!) "perfect" – a salad should only include things that are small enough to be picked up with a fork, have an appropriate amount of dressing that's evenly distributed, feta that's crumbled properly, etc, and while any decent kitchen really should be able to do that, they mostly don't. The rest of the food was really good too. Our server (Brooke M) was friendly, made sure that we had everything we needed, and checked with me about an available discount (CAA) that had completely slipped my mind. My wife and I were very content, and will be very happy to return (we'd moved and had never been to this Kelseys before).

Our waitress, Christina was phenomenal. Perfect service and super helpful with splitting the bill. She had an extremely positive attitude throughout the whole night. The chef working tonight was great as well. Had a table of 14 and didn’t mess up a single order, all bills were correct as well. The funnel cake fries were the star of the show. I will definitely be coming again.

We went for dinner tonight and would like to thank Danielle for the amazing service. She was attentive and pleasant and made our night out all the more enjoyable. Food was fantastic as always. Will definitely be back soon!

Been sitting here for an hour and a half waiting for nachos and honey garlic buns. Every time we ask where the food is all we get is "I'll check. " Tables seated after us have been served the same items we ordered. We will never be back here. Save your time, go anywhere else.

Updated: after being told our food was coming soon, the manager admit he forgot to process the order in the kitchen. The food came out wrong, cold, and with un-melted cheesy buns.

The server, Bailey, was polite and apologized for the issues.

The manager told us we would get 25% off the table.which ended up being only off food. Nothing here went well.

I got bad poison food from last night. I want to come back and refund but I’m too sick to do it.
I ordered truck burger with poutine last night. I think chicken or beef was not clean or cooked well. This restaurant need to be safe hygiene.

Staff is so rude. Came here for order pickup and after waiting 25 mints.asked her couple of time and she did not answer properly. Just attending the dinning customer for tip and not even answering. After requesting couple of time, she told me wait at least 15 mint to make me uncomfortable. So bad service and need to respect everyone’s time. Don’t be just selfish.

My husband and I were in for lunch on Wednesday and we had a great experience! Our server Jen was very friendly and attentive and really went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

It was pretty good. Server was helpful friendly. I had the sirloin steak which was kind of dry. The rest was good.

I had an incredible dinner with my family last night. Our server Taylor went above and beyond during our visit. She was very polite and displayed a great attitude. My son who is very picky did not know what to order and Taylor made our ordering process so much easier by giving our son a few suggestions that he might like. We received our food in a timely manner and it was delicious! Even our son was satisfied with Taylor’s suggestion. The restaurant was very clean and the environment was super welcoming. I have never seen a staff interact with each other the way I saw the staff at this location interact. Overall, our experience was awesome and thanks to our amazing server Taylor we will definitely be back very soon. Way to go!

I will never go to this location again. We were first seated at dirty table. Then switched. I can live with that mistake. Then the server in our area must have been really busy with the 2 whole tables that were being used in our section cause we weren’t even asked for a drink order for 15 minutes. Finally we got up and left cause we weren’t waiting any more. Kelsey’s Ancaster needs to wake up. They want and need business cause of what they lost during the pandemic and this is how they act. What a joke! I could understand if the place was busy but it wasn’t. WHAT A JOKE KELSEYS ANCASTER WHAT A JOKE! They get 0 stars but I have to put 1 cause it won’t let me post it otherwise

My wife and I stopped by for a bite. We had a nice server named Christina, who made our visit enjoyable and entertaining. After a slight mixup in the kitchen for my wife's meal, we met the manager who came to make sure everything was ok. We made it clear that everything was good and the meal was excellent. From what we understand it was Christina's first night. She helped make it a very nice and memorable evening.
The food was excellent, the service was great. Christina if you read this, we hope you enjoy your time there and that tonight's fun doesn't deter you from being the wonderful person that you are

Slow service but overall happy. I don’t blame any restaurant industry right now for being short staffed.

Our server and all other staff seemed nice but food was just okay. Didn't even care for leftovers. Floor was really sticky. Was told they were gonna have a makeover soon. Hope that happens.

My husband and I so rarely get a date night due to having a large blended family. First night out in months was rudely interupted by terrible service. The host first seated us at a dirty table. We had to find our own clean table. Then the waitress working our section had only 2 other tables to serve and after 15 minutes of waiting, we were still waiting for someone to even take our drink orders. We watched a waitress saunter between the 2 other tables four times and we still didn't get any service. As we walked out all the hostess said was "I'm sorry" and didn't even offer to get the manager for us. We won't be going back to this location again!

Could be better, example: if you are looking a good steak like Texas road house or outback, Ruth Chris don't go Kelsey's, is too small, you ask for a 3/4 or medium well and the cheff give you a well done, the chicken fajitas are not better, if you have hungry is ok but isn't a restaurant with quality control of each plate. Oh the nachos are the very bad. The service is excellent the waitress make you feel comfortable, just the food isn't good.

The three cheese dip with the baked tortilla chips oh my God I couldn't eat that all night long.

Outdated, sticky carpets and tables, need major upgrades, food was so so, was there for lunch and music was to loud that we had a hard time talking. For a Kelseys it was very disappointing, the worse one I have ever gone to.this is the one in Ancaster at the Meadowlands

Ordered online for curbside pickup at 3: 15 PM and very unsatisfied with the service. We were offered to have the food brought out to the car and after arriving before 3: 15 and clicking the link it was not brought out. My son had to go in and pick it up. When the boys got home the meal was cold, the portions were meager (especially for an $85.00 meal) and none of the burgers had ketchup, mustard or relish on them. We literally got a bag of packets like a low end fast food place. Oh and was charged for Cajun dip on the fries and not received. Glad I didn't tip online! Terrible service and terrible food and portions for what I paid for for my son's 19th Birthday meal. His choice to eat from here.never again!
UPDATE; got this response with a free appie. However, A free appie does not negate the actual issue, especially since I will NEVER patronize any Kelsey's again.

Was my first time visiting this restaurant chain, n my 2nd restaurant visited since Covid.found it just okay, nothing spectacular, found the restaurant cool, I thought it was because I was hungry but even after I had eaten I was still cold, I went to the washroom the men's was out of paper towels and the electric hand dryer didn't work! I alerted the staff and the manager corrected the situation right away.

Food-wise the buffalo chicken potato skins was an appetizer was to die for!

I had the Swiss mushroom burger oh, to be honest it looks like a had cheddar cheese on it cuz it was yellow? Swiss is white. It was okay. I give it 7 out of 10, comes with deep-fried flake onions or something. I'm not sure what it's called but when at the table for a couple of minutes it's all mush so pulled that off. Waste. I asked for the fries to be extra crispy and they were mushy on the inside and way too much salt.

My friends meal she had the chicken salad and she said the chicken was good but the salad was lifeless.

Food was great, beer selection was limited due to things just starting to open back up, but that's expected. Our server Ken was great. Thanks.

I decided to go to the Meadowland's Kelsey's for the first time in a few years. I was not disappointed with my experience. Taylor was my server and she not only had fantastic service, but also is a very sweet person. She checked up on my table around every 10 minutes which was perfect and was enjoyable to talk to. If Taylor is your server, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for the wonderful experience Taylor!

Waitress messed up my order and was not wearing mask properly. It also took a long time to get a table wiped down for us, would not recommend this location but the food is good, just not the service

We gave this restaurant a second chance at ordering and they didn't get our order right again.
If you order food for take out, you absolutely have to open the food to check it before you leave.
A minor complaint was that the fries were undercooked and chewy. At least they were on-time with our food so it was still warm when we got it home.

Stopped in to place a take-out order this week. The staff were amazing. I was served by Bailey. After she took my order, I must have been asked by six other staff and management if I had been taken care of. Everyone was very friendly. Bailey was very helpful and the food was great. Couldn’t ask for a better take-out experience.

Shoutout to the owners and staff for dealing with lockdowns. Classic Kelseys, can't ask for better.

We were visiting Ancaster on 06/12/2021 and decided to stop by at Kelseys for a bit. I ordered chicken Fajita. We also order their Balsamic Chick. The orders were completely not up to par with a restaurant chain. There was couple of issues with our orders.
1. Simply put and as the picture shows, you can call the food anything, but a Fajita.
2. Fajita should have a full piece of chicken brest. The food that I ordered was prepared with what seems to be left over from other chickens.
3. The chicken pieces were buried under Mounties of onions and veggies.
4. The chicken pieces and some of the veggies were burned.

I pointed out the burned chicken and veggies to the staff, they were kind to replace it.

However; they told me it is because the cast iron that the food was served on, is hot and it causes the food to burn. This was not acceptable to me.

This was not my first time eating Fajita, not it was the first time that Fajita was served on Cast Iron to me.

Not to mention that ironically, the chicken for our other meal which was not severed on Cast Iron, was also burned. But we did not want to make it a big deal, and tried to enjoy our time.

Overall, I will give 1 star to the food and the only reason I gave 3 stars, it is because of the staffs and since it was the 2nd day after the Covid-19 shut down.

I love coming to this Kelsey's! My partner and I come pretty frequently and are always seated quickly, the staff are always kind and it is a great overall experience. That last time we went it felt understaffed, our server was front of house and had two different sections to deal with so we didn't really get insane amounts of attention but it was completely understandable and she was still great at our job. Our food came out quickly and tasted great. The food is a reasonable price and the restaurant is well maintained and has a great environment to it.

Kelsey's has always been one of my faves (mainly due to their AH-MAZING buffalo chicken caesar wraps), but today our waitress went above and beyond (offered me a hot drink to put my hands around when she noticed I looked cold) - what an absolute sweetheart!

The worst place I've ever eaten in my life. The food was burnt and the service sucked. Not to mention our order was wrong and no one cared to fix it. Huge waste of money and time. Very disappointed.

Great all purpose restuarant. Food was good service was great cost was reasonable. Have the wing and ribs really good.

I took my daughter there for lunch and our meals were very good. We have been let down the past couple times but this lunch was good enough for me to consider going back! The price of our meals were reasonable too.

Hit and miss at this location. Our visit was not the greatest, service was spotty and the food was so so. Great recovery from management. Will be back for another try.

Went in with my family before a movie and our server Leah was simply amazing. Very attentive and food was quick. We will be back again soon.

I'm very disappointed in kelseys, I brought my daughters there, I ordered the ultimate bacon cheese burger, it was raw with a very cheap white bun which tasted stale with no flavor, they use to do use better ingredients but they are getting cheap and there quality has suffered, I know this because I use to go often and seen how quality has gotten lower and lower. Also my daughters glass had old lipstick on it. Totally unacceptable. Discusting place dont waste your money or your health. Eat somewhere where they care what they serve.this was the ancaster kelseys on golf links. I will never go back!

Food quality did not meet our expectations. The fish filters sandwich was way to greasy. Staff was kind and helpful and this is the reason why I gave three stars instead of two.

Had a bad experience a while back. Ordered a burger and fries - burger was fine but the fries were a soft and soggy mess. The server took them back into the kitchen and threw them in the fryer again. When they came back they were rock hard. I demonstrated this to the server by tapping a fry against by plate, and said I would opt to use Scene points toward the meal because I didn't feel like it was worth the full price. I got no reaction from the server whatsoever.

I avoided Kelsey's for a year after until giving it a second chance. I expressed to the server how the quality of the food and my server's apathy soured me on Kelsey's and how I was hoping the food had improved. He told me the fries were good, but lacked any display of empathy or an indication that he appreciated my patronage in any way. I filled out a survey expressing my dissatisfaction with everything to the manager, who claimed to be interested in how to make things better. I never heard back. Haven't been to a Kelsey's since and if I did I wouldn't go here.

Apathy is the watchword here and the death knell of a business. You don't have to care, but if you want my service make me feel like you care.

Edited to add: Also, I waited fifteen minutes to be seated during a slow afternoon shift.

Chicken Fingers Oooh the Chicken Fingers. Balsamic Chicken very good too. This is soup weather, and their soup is excellent

Just ok. Service was ok, food was ok. Had the wings and a beer. Not what it used to be at all. Wings were small and lacked flavour.

Just ordered a messy fish sandwich from uber eats, the bottom bun of the sandwich was moldy! I am truly disgusted. Never will i order here again

Always running out of food ordered wings and ribs was told they sold out how come they don't order enough food it's a very busy place we were there Sunday September 15 it's not a very good business practice to keep running out of food may not come back because of this

Underwhelming experience. We were served quickly and drink order was taken. Drinks (glass of wine and a beer) took 15 mins to arrive. Apparently, the bartender got swamped. After ordering our meals they took 45 mins to arrive with our waitress avoiding eye contact the whole time. She didn't ask if everything was okay just 'did we have everything'. M-i-l enjoyed her balsamic chicken but her veggies were raw. My chicken ceasar was okay but I'm pretty sure thre lettuce was cut with a machete. We were never offered refills on our drinks but she did offer dessert. Unfortunately we've never had stellar experiences here. Can't wait to see if we have better luck at the Milestones coming next door.

The service was terrible, wings came out gummy and raw, there was blood inside the wings, waitress forgot our order, we ordered 3 items and only 2 came out, when we asked after an hour where our food was she responded by saying we have a big party on the other side. Nobody offered us any water. Will never go here again.

Food was ok, took a while to get it though than took a while to get the bill then the debit machine, wasn't even that busy, if it wasn't for bailey it would be one star. I'm staying away.

If I could give minus stars I would, wait forever for 5 soo called wings that are nothing but bone, and stone cold, plus they charge 10$ for, and very unfriendly service also, seems to happen alot at this location,!
