This place was ridiculous! We waited 40 min on the patio for our food, which never came out. We had a little kid crying, and no one even checked on us. The waitress served our appetizer to another customer who arrived and ordered 20 MINUTES later than us. When I went to tell the other waiter that came to our table that we were canceling our order, he said "Okay". Then he said he'll check on the order AFTER he said he was checking on it the first time I went to him. NOT RECOMMENDING TO EAT HERE. The service was just atrocious.
I arrived at around 11: 30am the place felt pretty dead, very low energy, beside me there was only one other table present.
The music they were blasting in the backgroundnd wasn't really to my taste.
The waitress spoke good english, which i liked (i hate spending good money at restaurants, served by waitresses that spoke broken english) she was very nice, courteous, and really pretty too. Good job.
The nachos I ordered were alright. A little light on the cheese, some of the chips didnt have toppings on them. The wings were slightly burnt. Little Too well-done for my taste.
We had a good experience. We were greeted quickly. We were disappointed that they all had one type of soup. Wish they had more options for their lunch trio menu. But overall, we were satisfied.
The menu is unoriginal, without even slightly healthier options for the modern informed consumer. Founded in 1978 you would think to stay in business so long they would adapt. The service that night was also atrocious, that became the butt of the joke at the table for the evening. It’s the kind of place you go when literally there’s no other options. Fries were tasty. Beer menu laughable.
This location is phenomenal The owner goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy and treated well. The establishment is extremely clean and the food is absolutely amazing.
Probably one of the worst experiences I have had since COVID restrictions have dropped. Coming in to the establishment, no one greeted nor came to seat our group of 5. Once seated, had to request for service to order drinks and food. Provided the feedback to the bartender server as she was the only one on the restaurant floor and then was provided some desserts as offered after providing our feedback to the bad experience.
I wish that was the end of it but it wasn't. When provided the complimentary dessert, it was one scoop of ice cream and was provided 5 folks and not spoons. Apparently, all the spoons were in the dishwasher mentioned by a very non-social skilled employee. But really they provided 1 scoop of ice cream for 5 people? We didn't want to continue to ruin our get together at this point so said nothing about it.
Now and finally, when paying the bill, no one came back to offer us anything and we again, had to ask the bartender for the bill. Once receiving the bill, we were offered a free dessert to make up for the horrible experience. We we're taken care of until another person came to collect the bill. He then advised that the bill was wrong and added another $10.00+ and advised that the extra was for the free dessert. This is when I was over the entire bad experience. I asked the person who he was and to my surprise it was the GM of the restaurant with a little power trip to his tone. I then took the opportunity to explain that the extra $10.00 was not to be added as it was because to the bad service we received and provided him with the feedback to help his staff improve and be aware of the poor service. I advised that as the GM the people who work there are a clear representation to his care to service customers and provide a positive experience. He then provided an additional discount to the entire bill for our group.
All in all, to potential customers who read this, I am only sharing this unfortunate experience as I find we have to hold these places accountable to a standards that doesn't ruin your time to enjoy being with others and having some food and drinks. As for the owner of this establishment, please take this review seriously, and implement some better standards for the employees and better overview by you management team. One main issue here was communication from back of the restaurant to the front. If you need to get more information about my experience, don't hesitate to contact me through my email etc. Remember without customers there is no business and if there is no care shown then customers have no reason to show up.
Had the Nashville chicken sandwich the other day. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’vr had - as good as Cumbrae’s on Bayview which is my other favourite in the city. Great ambience. Happy to go again
I visit this place quite often. Very delicious food and great ambience. Staff there are so very friendly and welcoming. Great place to hang out with friends and family.
Not one of the better Kelsey's we have been to. The service was slow, wine was sour- had to order new glass, and quesidias were only ok. Kind of boring bar area.
I was there last Saturday and the service was very bad. I waited so long for someone to take my order but no one did until I asked one of the servers. I had to wait again until someone finally came and took my order. Once my food was ready I was given no napkins no utensils so I had to ask someone who was serving another customer to give us some napkins. I felt so disrespected and so displeased.
I spent most of my day off with this place Excellent service with friendly staff. Most importantly the owner came by to say hi and treated well. I will take my family every occasion Keep it up
Was here last week with some friends/family for late lunch, service was slow but didn't matter much as we were there for the happy hr drinks. Food was ok and the drinks were fine but after paying the bill as we were about to leave we realized that our drinks were all charged at full price and not at the discounted price which was a difference of at least $15 before taxes. Told our server about it, she took our receipt and kept going back and forth from the back to front. We finally gave up since it's been at least 10-15mins and took our losses and left.
I had a great time enjoying delicious food at Kelsey’s. The staff was committed to the great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere was awesome! I highly recommend this place.
By far the worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered with any restaurant. We went for dinner this past Sunday, and when we got there 2/3 of the restaurant was empty. We were told that they were full and not excepting any more customers, must say they were very unprofessional. I was surprised, shocked, and very disappointed. They obviously had no interest in our business. I personally will never go to that restaurant again, nor will I recommend it to my family or friends.
An amazing waitress made our day. Marcy was excellent. Only rate a four as the dry wings needed some flavor to the bone. Other than that a time well spent with the family.
Went here last night around 6: 30. We had to wait a significant amount of time to be greeted and settled into a booth. No server came by to speak with us for over 15 mins. We even flagged someone down and said we were ready to order, and they advised us that they would get our server. But no one came. I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant before, but by then I was frustrated, and ready to go somewhere else.
This was one of my go to places until tonight. The manger who works here is a complete a** and he doesn’t care about customer. The servers who work there were much more understanding than him. I don’t know why would a restaurant need a manger like him who can’t resolve silly issues. Never going back to this place ever again.
Came here on a Sunday and it is not busy at all. We are the only customer sitting inside the restaurant and all other tables with customers are at the patio. Being the only customer inside the restaurant did not get much attention but it is ok because we are not in a hurry. Food is average as a chain restaurant and service is ok beside we have to look for our server. Parking is easy here! Big parking lot.
