Alicia and Miles are amazing customer service. It's my birthday today and they made my experience memorable. With my bestie Avero.

Took a while to get noticed and be seated. When we did get seated and ordered the waitress never took the menus away, odd. There might have been 6-10 customers in the restaurant and it took a solid 30 min.to get our dinners. Dinners came out 1 at a time. I was finished half of my dinner before my wife's came out. We have been coming to the Upper James location for many years and have noticed a serious neglect of upkeep in recent years. Non working TV's, cable's hanging out of the walls, no paper towel dispenser in the washroom. This was a great place to go.

I had an amazing experience. The food was 10/10 and the service was amazing. Alicia was our server and she was a fantastic example of good service!

This place needs to be completely gutted. Horrible service and the restaurant ceiling is falling down around you. The workers said it’s getting a Reno soon, sad that the owners let it completely go.

Food was good, service was good, but the fruit flies! My goodness they were so bad. They ended up in our drinks, and fortunately they deducted them from our bill as we didn't want replacements. How can a restaurant not control fruit flies? (We were there a few weeks ago for a drink, there were some, and but not as bad as the second time). Just gross.

My boyfriend and I went to Kelsey’s the other night and had a great time. We shared spinach dip and nachos! We had Kelsey as our server and she was excellent! She was super friendly and the service was very fast. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Dining at Kelsey’s on Upper James was truly one of the greatest dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The food and atmosphere were great but what really made it was our server Kelsey! She was so wonderful and welcoming and checked up on us with an amazing smile! I would highly recommend!

Had an excellent and attentive waitress named Heather who was great with recommendations. Enjoyed my meal very much except for the mashed potatoes (instant).

This location was without a doubt, the most physically disgusting place that I have been in, in the past 10 years. Everything from floor to table to food. The only reason that we didn't stiff our server (who was eactually adequate) is that we are aware that the kitchen is "tipped out" by volume of sales,
and NOT quality of food.

Luckily for them! If we, the unfortunate recipients of their offerings, had a choice - we would have just dashed! I have seldom been as disappointed as this location.

Disappointing. My group got the spinach dip, baked pita was just warmed. My meal I ordered the chicken fried chicken.it was more like chicken burnt chicken, was definitely overcooked and gravey had white lumps, broccoli had pieces with yellow bits that shouldn't have been served, no salt or butter, fries ok but not salted. I let waitress know but I ate maybe half because I hadn't eat all day and didn't have time to wait (2 big parties came in just after us) or go somewhere else. The washroom was dirty too when we went to leave so let the manager know. Nice demeanor but she didn't care. Asked what I ordered and said yeah I get a lot of complaints about that one they should just take it off the menu our cooks never seem to be consistant with it. I have had it at other locations before as well as at this one with no problems.and when I mentioned the bathroom she said she knows she was told.then started rambling about renovations needing to be done.not sure what that had to do with poor food or a dirty washroom. I was definitely not looking for anything but was also not offered anything. I won't be back.

I typically tend not to eat at kelseys roadhouse from bad experiences, but I can say this kelseys roadhouse has changed the game for me and it was all based on the awsome service! We Had a server with dark hair I think her name was Kelsey funny enough lol. She always had a smile on her face and brought everything to us super fast. The drinks were great was a nice place to take my mom after a long day!

What a disgrace to the Kelseys chain. This restaurant needs a good clean. The floors need to be washed and vacuumed. The booth seats were full of crumbs and dried on food. Oh, and the food was over cooked.
Maybe it is long overdue for a full renovation.

I’m pretty certain I’ve been here and left a review that wasn’t great. It was also honest and I didn’t expect to be back at this location anytime soon if ever.
With friends, I did come back last night and had such a great experience! The food itself was better then I had expected from the last few times I had been, but what the biggest improvement was the quality of service we received at our table! I have no problem giving credit where it’s due and Heather was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was attentive and helpful. Our last visit we felt abandoned and like our presence was annoying to our waitress. So this was a huge surprise to have left there feeling like I hope to return soon. She was always cheerful and checking in without imposing on our conversation. She made us feel so welcomed and thanks to her suggestions we loved our cajun shrimp and spinach dip apps! We had never had them and will absolutely be back for more! Five star service for sure!

Food was delicious. Server Kelsey was super nice and gave us amazing service. Will definitely be back!

Went with family for dinner had wonderful service from Krystina, very attentive. Took her time to explain dishes and answer all our question. Never made us feel rushed and was extremely accommodating to my kids. 10/10 for her!

I just bought a steak dinner, tacos and a salad. All of which were absolutely horrible. If I had a dog I don't think they would have liked it either. Service wasnt bad but only eat inside so you can swallow the food down with a high concentration of alcohol.

Alicia has always been such a fun great bartender! Always enjoy seeing her! Will come back!:)

My family and I went to the Upper James location 3 days ago. When we arrived we noticed that the location looked a bit run down. But we ordered drinks anyway, after changing tables since our booth was dirty and there was a huge section of vinyl missing on the seats. While waiting for drinks we looked around and saw that it was really dirty and the floors were disgusting. It was as if there was no effort made to keep the place clean. We decided we didn't want to risk eating anything from the kitchen. When the server arrived we asked for the bill. We went around the corner to Montana's and had an amazing meal in a clean restaurant.
