Kelso Beach at Nawash Park

Great place to take young kids. Shallow water that extends far out from the beach. Change rooms and rest rooms. Fabulous splash pad! Campground across the road. This is also the venue for the Annual Summerfolk Festival — a weekend of really great music.

Very enjoyable with the exception of drone usage and people not putting their dogs on leashes and not stooping and scooping. It has been reported but nothing gets done. Watch where you step when walking through the park.

Small beach with shallow water that gets gradually deeper. Nice and sandy in the water without much seaweed. If you don't mind the grain elevators - it's a nice place to have a swim. Conveniently located if you are visiting Owen Sound.

We will certainly go back! Beautiful place, calm, splash pads for kids, gazebo, a stage for shows.

Very nice beach for kids and adults to enjoy alike! It drizzled the day we went and hence parking was available without any trouble. There even was a good truck and their fresh cut fries was superb!

Kelso Beach Park is surprisingly clean and the water quality looks good. I like that it’s not too crowded here. The beach part is somewhat small but looks great. There is a playground there for kids and a splash pad. The washrooms are okay, at least there are no line ups.

Kelso Beach stands out with its peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquility. The beach has clean facilities and convenient parking. The park also features beautiful trails surrounded by lush greenery. The sandy shoreline and clear waters of Georgian Bay make it a stunning destination.it also provides a small playground for kids to enjoy. This additional feature adds to the overall family-friendly experience of the park.

Very nice spot to take toddlers for the splash pad! Big park, nice small beach and a great place to just take a stroll and look at the water.

Just a nice park to take the Grandchildren to the park and splash park too. And on the store's of beautiful Georgian Bay.

Been here many times. Noticed the washrooms had been moved closer to the parking lot. No more flooded washrooms.

The highlight of this park was undoubtedly its location by the seaside. The beach was immaculate, offering a serene and picturesque setting. I enjoyed taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline. Moreover, the presence of a water playground specifically designed for kids added a delightful touch. Families with children can enjoy a fun-filled day by the water, making it an ideal spot for a family outing.

A beautiful place! Nice clean water and sand. Free parking and washrooms available. It is a great place to spend an afternoon.
