Ken Reid Conservation Area

Roads in and out are riddled with huge and deep potholes, signage and directions are very confusing. Avoid any events being held here!

What a disapointment could of done better with the light display in my backyard. Not worth the drive to see 5 trees wraped with some white dull lights that are dying from the dollar store battery packs.

Great place to go walking, trails are easy with lots of shade and breeze from the water. Only complaint would be the lack of signage indicating where you are.

Extensive areas for hikes and walks. A couple places on the boardwalk were a little sketchy - presumably will be repaired before the busy season (our last visit was May 1st, 2023). Very nice spot overall!

I've been coming here since I was a student at Fleming, and it's always such a lovely place to visit. There's always interesting wildlife and the trails are well maintained. One of my favourite conservation areas in the area, great spot for a day hike for all ages and in all seasons.

We love to explore Ken Reid, the place is well maintained and has tons of photo ops! They recently created an illuminated trail for the public to enjoy on their evening strolls. I hope they do this in the future as we all loved to see the twinkling lights as we walked through.

My favorite place to take the kids. Very helpful staff, excellent trails in any season. Story book walk from the public library. Feed the chickadees and nuthatches. So many great public events like Christmas at Ken Reid and the Iluminated Forest.
