Kenzo Ramen Oakville

Ordered Tsuke Men and it was very tasty. Was disappointed they did not have takoyaki, however the karaage chicken was very good. Overall I had a great experience.

Easily, the best ramen place around. Way better than Kinton ramen and mystic ramen in hamilton. I always make the drive out to oakville just to eat here.

Dont listen to these people complaining about service. They have like 2 servers on shifts. If you come at a peak time and are too afraid to ask for service, thats a YOU problem.

If youre looking for good authentic japanese ramen; this is one of the best.

Food is good. Wait times are longer. Our server forgot to order karage to kitchen fryer team and was served after our main course finished.

Feels dirty. Ramen had water downed soup. Asked server about it and they denied it. I have ramen very often, so their ramen is either bad or they were lying.

Too slow. Ramen soup tastes like instant noodle soup. Ramen portion too small. Pork tastes plain and fishy.

Went in May 2023. Absolutely delicious spicy char-su ramen and the staff were attentive in alerting the spiciness of the item and generous with substituting food options. Also tried the food the rest of my group had and the broth was not excessively oily or salty compared to some other ramen restaurants. Pricing was reasonable in this day and age of inflation. Vibes were nice and has a lot of interesting artwork. Customers continued to roll in even during minutes upon closing time. I would recommend more to come to this place, as we will be back in the future!

I visited May 13 2023. Arrived 7: 50pm, ordered in 5 mins, didnt get to see my ramen till 8: 24.

We asked bean sprouts to be taken out for my son's ramen and they put it in anyway.

Only ramen variety in Oakville! An absolute must try, Spicy Charsu is my recommendation. (Must be able to handle heat)

Really slow service!

We dropped by for a fast dinner. There were only two server taking care of everything. It supposed to be a fast food restaurant but we spent an hour on the Ramon. From sitting, ordering, to getting to food, I had to keep asking for the meal and everything.

For the restaurant: never left your customers hang out to dry.

Decent spot, nice to have ramen available in the area. Had the Tomkotsu King, enjoyed it, would spice it up if I had it again. Staff is friendly but a bit more inattentive than I am used too, this could be purposefully and enjoyable for others. The creamy pork bone broth is tasty and mild enough for kids. Value is fair.

Among the best places to have ramen in Oakville. The quality of food is excellent. You will have to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated if you arrive at the peak dinner time starting 7: 00 pm. Also the orders takes time to be served. Some orders with a price change might not reflect the photo in the menu. Ask about the portion of appetizers and don’t take the photo for granted.

Nice ramen place. Their spicy ramen bowls are delicious. But try it at your own risk. They also provide chilli sauce on the side if you want to spice up your ramen after it arrives on the table. Good vegetarian options and the ramen comes with a lot of vegetables to make it a hearty enjoyable mean

Great friendly service. It's same food as the Mississauga location but a different more relaxed vibe in Oakville. Both great but slightly different. This location is less busy than the Sauga one.

Went on a Friday night around 7pm with friend. Staff was friendly and attentive. It was also not as busy as what I thought it would be.

I was quite pleased with my experience as this was my first time truly having ramen. The prices are reasonable and the quality of food is very good. Even the quantity of food you get is amazing. You are guaranteed to feel full after. Be prepared to use chopsticks and a big spoon when eating.

The reason why it is shy of a 5 star is because I wished this location was bigger. If it was a busier night, there would not have been enough seating. Also the music playlist did not match to the style of the restaurant.

With all being said, I would definitely be coming back again.

Never had a bad meal here but the service is seriously lacking. Last time I had to wait 10 minutes at the front before anyone even acknowledged me. They finally told me it would be a few minutes for a table. I said fine, waited, and had a good meal.
Today I went in, it was pretty full but I was the only one in line. Stood around for a good 15 minutes without so much as eye contact from any of the servers. Finally got fed up and went over to Subway. I like to come here on my lunch breaks from work and can't just stand around indefinitely without even an idea of when I'll get a table. At least come over and say hi and tell me it'll be a bit of a wait. They leave a notepad with a pen at the door for you to write your name and number or people and I guess that's the extent of their customer service. As long as the seats are full, who cares?
I frequent the Hamilton location which is usually much busier but still has great service, the Oakville location could stand to learn something from them.
Would be an easy 5 stars based on food and price alone, but the service is a drag.

Bet you didn't know that there was another hidden gem in Oakville. Japanese Noodle House. Yup, if you like ramen style soups, then you need to give Kenzo a good sit down because they offer a great variety here. The broth is great from a Traditional ramen to more complex flavours. Serving portions are good and atmosphere is casual. We were greated right away and brought to a table and within seconds a menu was in our hands. Service is very good. Prices are reasonable averaging about 12 bucks a dish. Will definitely be going back to this hidden gem in the corner of this little strip. And yes I asked for a fork! Very enjoyable for our first run.
