Parotta was very very small when I complain, they didn’t accept her mistake. They speak rude.

The food was really good and i will recommend my friends to try there beef kizhi and chicken biriyani because it was super delicious and also there parking is spacious

I got porotta, Beef roast, chicken dry fry. Porotta was thick af. I probably needed something sharp to break it into small pieces. Beef roast was salty, not cooked well. Not tasty at all. Dry fry was small 6 pieces, just like chicken McNuggets, And half cooked. What the hell guys. I paid more than 40CAD for some bullfuckery. Today morning my stomach is upset because of half cooked foods i ate. What the hell guys. I understand the how hard it can be to run a business, but there’s a minimum requirement of standard you gotta keep. Be better. Thanks

Scammers! Their food is stale. They served me old beef roast from the fridge after heating it up. It was the same case for their chicken curry too. Porotta was hard like rubber. Didn't serve egg in Chicken biriyani.

They gave me over cooked chicken 65, it was literally like rock pieces save your money from this place!

The food taste really great and I loved their service. I have ordered their chicken biriyani for my birthday and it was one of the best. You can feel that authentic flavour of Kerala Malabar biriyani. If you are a biriyani lover I do recommend this place

I miss the flavour of Indian food because I'm an Indian residing in Canada. One of my favourite foods from back home was chicken biryani, and a buddy of mine recommended that I try the biryani from Kerala Restaurant. I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the dish. The biryani was served piping hot and had a tantalizing aroma that made my mouth water. The chicken pieces were juicy and tender, and the spices used in the dish were perfectly balanced, providing a rich and flavorful taste that I couldn't get enough of.

The biryani was also cooked with fragrant basmati rice that was perfectly cooked and fluffy, and the dish was topped with crispy fried onions and fresh cilantro, which added an extra layer of flavor and texture.

Overall, I would highly recommend the chicken biryani from Kerala Kitchen. It's a must-try for anyone who loves flavorful and aromatic dishes.

The staff at night is rude, impolite and does not know how to communicate, is presumptuous and racist.

I would say the best that I had.

Great service and I am waiting for their dine in.

1) I had bought mutton curry from them which was not delicious at all. And the mutton they used was of very low quality. It was like rubber.you keep chewing and nothing happens. Finally you spit it out. Complete waste of money. Not going there again.

2) Extremely expensive. A medium-sized mutton curry was $13.99 + tax. I am a bachelor and it was too big a portion for me. They should have smaller portions as well.

3) They have blackened out all the prices from the menu which according to me is quite dodgy. I think they just come up with a price for any product depending on how the customer behaves with them. I was very respectful still I was charged $13.99 + tax for mutton curry.

Overall, a very dismal experience. I am not sure how they have survived so far. Don't go there guys, unless you want to waste your money.

If you ever have had authentic baklava spare this place because you will be served with puff pastry filled with chopped cashew dipped in green color as if it’s pistachio! Pity!

Worst kerala restaurant i have ever tried in Toronto. I would be more happy to give them zero or negative stars if possible. They ruin the name. I am never going to buy anything from here. Ordered cheese naan and paneer butter masala. What i got was a hard naan which i felt like the packet naan that we can buy from grocery stores with some cheese on the top. I had to reheat the naan in my microwave atleast to make it a bit soft. If this is the case i would have made it myself rather than ordering from here. Even the panner butter masala tasted like fish. Thanks to the restaurant to make me hate this dish.

I ordered Beef Roast and Parotta from here. Beef roast was extremely good. But parotta was worst.

Curry has so much gravy but only 3-5 small piece of bone with little meat and charge u $15-$17 what a joke btw they have conditional pass now.

I bought a sharaj shake the other day was too sweet (beyond all normal levels). No going back again!

Out of the past 5 times we have gone to this place, our order has been correct once. The last time they gave us someone else’s order, we had to go back in and wait another 30 mins for our food & Then they still gave us the incorrect food! Then We ordered a date shake while waiting and they gave us an Oreo one. The food is never consistent and always taste different. The lack of care the staff have is unbelievable. The restaurant must loose so much money with all the wrong orders they do. While waiting outside I noticed two other customers have to go in because food was forgotten or incorrect. The paratha is thick and rubbery the gobi Manchurian ALWAYS has different tastes and consistencies. My friend tried some of the fried food they have with egg in it. I guess it sat out too long all day and had gone bad. It Made my friend instantly sick. We have given this place the benefit of the doubt to many times. We will not be returning. Don’t waste your money here!

Worst Kerala restaurant, food is Unhygienic and instead of chilly chicken they hide cauliflower inside flour, I have ordered pepper chicken for that they gave old fried chicken soaked in egg roast. It's a stupid restaurants and we are stomach sick

Please never ever go to this place. The worst food. I ordered a chicken biriyani for $10+tax. The rice is uncooked and chicken piece is just bones without any meat in it. This is not acceptable. The staff was so rude while I raised a complaint. You can see the chicken piece in the picture… doesnt look like a piece though.

This restaurant has atrocious service I won't recommend a restaurant that won't take responsibility for their mistake or what appears on their menu on Skip etc. I ordered the Kerala Fish Fry on skip it says its a large fish fry with a 12 Oz container of rice and the rice never came I called and instead of accepting the responsibility to fix it they tried to prove what I was saying was wrong and did not accept any responsibility placed it squarely on skip the dishes error. Although it was only rice it seems to be it's on principle and at a time when restaurants are depending on us to survive that an effort to make the problem better would be the right thing not try to prove the customer wrong and shift blame. Very bad and recommend no one patronize this restaurant

They say they have Naan, looks like they buy those naan's from store, heat and sell it. Also other food items taste bad.

Yesterday i took a takeout from Kerala kitchen, i ordered porotta, kadai chicken and gobi Manchurian.

I liked the gobi Manchurian, other two were like worst. (kadai chicken- moonijayathu
Porotta- maavu ururtti vachathu pole, kurachude cook cheyyam aayirunnu)

The food is good. A fan of their Kappa Biryani. Chicken Biryani was also good. But didn't like the Mutton Biryani, it was spicy (not hot, but masala was very spicy for a Biryani). Tasted more like Mutton curry mixed in Biryani rice.

Unfortunately I did not like the food here. From what I understand chicken biriyani is cooked with long grain rice. Here they gave me biriyani cooled with small grain rice which was sticky. Did not meet my expectations.

If you are looking for authentic Kerala food, then this is the place. Love all their foods, especially biriyani, kappa and fish masala.

Waiting period is bit high but worth for waiting as food quality is excellent. Last time I tried their date shake which was really delicious.

Name changed to Kerela foods (I think), go to place for South Indian Kerela food. Parontha are rich with butter, dishes are spicy and tasty. Good food, very reasonable prices, excellent takeout option especially for those on a budget.

Recently, I heard about the existence of this restaurant in Scarborough, and hands on, one of the best places to get South Indian food (specifically Kerala). Their beef items and biryani tend to be the best, however their chicken curry wasn't on the higher par, so they need to improve it. The wait times do get long, and I notice that there are lot of orders incoming, so can't blame much here. Also, bringing this restaurant creates more competition now for business in Scarborough, as now there are: Mr. Johns, Kairali, Orumas, Kerala Kafe, Curry Leaves. The food served by Kerala Kitchen/Wedeshi Foods are much tastier compared to the other Scarborough: Kerala restaurants mentioned, but no hate to the other restaurants, as some of their foods are good too. Price seems okay. Overall, a good experience, and I hope this restaurant continues this way!

Food is good but to get that you have to wait for all eternity. I was told 15 minutes for the food to be ready. I came after 40 mins and then after that i waited another 15 minutes inside the store just to hear from the lady at the front “ it will take another 15 minutes” all I ordered is one dish and three porottas!

Always received very courteous and polite service from the staffs here; they have a variety of combos for decent prices and they also customize on request. Come here if you are a fan of spicy Indian food!

Ordered Chicken Biriyani+Chicken Kabab that I ate for 2 days in a row. The taste, the consistency, and spices were just amazing. First time, and definitely pleased to go back to WeDeshi next time in Toronto

Website needs to be improved. Restaurant name is quite misleading since they have more of Kerala style food.

Ordered chana masala, palak gosht and chicken kadai, was disappointed with all of them. Meat was chewy as hard rubber and was hard to break even with two hands. There was nothing kadai about chicken kadai except the surplus oil. Their combo's are generally served with rice or chapathi which they now made it only rice, and we had to ask for it before leaving instead of giving it along. Will probably never return.

The guy was talking on his phone when I was giving my order then he didn't give me any spoons or napkins, so I went back in the to ask for i2t and he told me that I didn't pay for the water and that it's okay he will let it go. I was shocked cuz I already paid for everything including water so I checked the bill receipt and it didn't say how much everything was for
It just showed me the total amount which was $10.71
Again I went back to pay for the water and asked for the original receipt which will show me exactly how much everything was for including HST.the cashier (Manju his name was) looked very annoyed at me. Honestly if you don't know how to do customer service then you shouldn't do. I hope the store owner do a little more training with his employee.

It’s not often I go to a new place and it blows me away but that just happened. By far one of the best restaurants i have had good authentic Indian food. The fried chicken, fried fish, mutton curry with parota, chicken tikka and even the juice was out of this world. The food was also very well balanced as far as how spicy it is. The food quality, freshness and taste was amazing which is usually the biggest challenge for all ethnic food restaurants. If you are an ethnic food fanatic, I highly recommend to give them a try. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

This is a takeout restaurant. We ordered 2 chicken samosas, 1 butter chicken sandwich, 1 kerala porata, 4 chatpati, 1 chicken briyani, 1 kerala fish curry, 1 palak mutton, 1 beef curry and 2 gulab jamoon. In overall, the food was very dissappointing and I would not reccomend this place.

The chicken samosas are basically the frozen samosas you buy in the grocery stores. They tasted okay.but dissappointed that the restaurant sold store bought frozen samosas. The sandwich was okay, but had a burnt flavour to it. The kerala porata was good but it tasted like any other porata.unsure what makes it "kerala" porata. The chapati are very dry and did not taste good. The chicken briyani rice seemed old and slightly undercooked. Briyani flavour was average at best. The kerala fish curry was terrible. The fish curry had a burnt flavour, extremely oily and the fish was very, very salty. The palak mutton was good but the mutton was hard.and frankly I have tasted much better palak dishes than this. The beef curry was very poor. The curry had an overpowering flavour of curry leaf.what's the point of eating beef if you can't taste it. Lastly, the gulab jamoon was good, nothing special, but good.

I would have given 1 star but gave another star because they seem like nice people.

Worst service ever.i had to wait 20 minutes just so they can take my order.and there was only 2 people ahead of me. It would make sense to take all orders then make people wait. Everytime i try to get his attention he would tell me 1 second and disapear at the back. They need better service

Wow! What great, authentic south Indian foods this restaurant has. I dont think I have ever tasted biriyani this good before! The wraps are also very delicious and the customer service is top quality. Definitely coming here again and you should too!
