Keshet Kennels

I may appear to be biased because I work there but I assure you this review is honest and written after much scrutiny. I've worked at a lot of places and don't bother to give my recommendation or review. I can honestly say, however, in my opinion, if you want good caring people in an awesome and safe environment caring for your furry best friends, this is the place. Huge kennels, nature at their pawtips and kind, attentive people making sure they are happy. I just cut the grass and shovel the snow. But I see how the place is run and would have no problem trusting them with my dogs. You won't find a better spot for yours. Try it and tell me I'm wrong.

We just started taking our reactive, deaf Australian shepherd for daycare here and are very happy with their service. The procedures for taking care of dogs with special needs are excellent and the spaces they have available for the dogs and how the way dogs are introduced and can play together are very well thought out and implemented. We’ve taken Kai to a few kennels and daycares for boarding, and this is by far the best we’ve been to.

Stella had a great time at Keshet. I loved how much detail the staff were able to provide about her visit and her behaviour. We also did the life skills training which I think is a really nice added bonus for her stay! Super cute that we got a printed professional photo of her from her stay when we picked her up. Will definitely bring her back:)

Great service. They obviously care about the animals in their care! The online portal makes it very easy to book. Strongly recommend.

Booked a stay for my dog a month in advance, which was confirmed at the time. 2 days before I leave for my trip, they called and said that they had overbooked and weren't able to accommodate my dog. Like what? I booked a month in advance and you're telling me 2 DAYS before I fly that you don't have room for my dog? Service that is undependable, saying they need to reserve their spots for 'emergency cases'. I had to pay to move my flight and trip to the next weekend before I found other accommodations for him. Good riddance!

Always great and the girls recognize Charlie right away. Deaf dog friendly and our guy loves it there.

Wonderful experience at Keshet with my 1.5yo high energy shepherd mix.
They have many separate fenced in areas for dogs to socialize (or not) and a lot of flexibility when it comes to overnight options.
We took our pup for daycare and had a positive experience. We're going back for their first overnight shortly.
I would recommend for all!

My dog had a great visit here. The staff was very friendly and caring. If you need a kennel and live in Ottawa, this is the one to take your dog to!

I used to bring my late husky and yorkie here and they absolutely loved it! I never had to worry about their safety while staying at Keshet. They were always well cared for, provided with lots of exercise and personal attention. I would strongly recommend using Keshet Kennels for boarding your pups.

Broken hearted to find that they lost someone’s dog and the owner was cold to the family. The tiny pup was found after an 11 hour search cold, and bleeding and traumatized deep into the forest. Never ever bring my dog there

Fabulous staff, easy to book and dropoff and pickup really quick. Our furbaby gets very excited when we turn into the driveway. Prices are really reasonable as well. Thank you so much

My dog has been going to weekly daycare for the past couple months and I’m really happy with Keshet Kennels! Their booking system is very easy to navigate and they always respond quickly to booking requests. They’ve been super flexible with any of my booking changes and updates which I have really appreciated. My dog is older and a bit anxious but is always happy when we arrive, and she’s happy and tired when she comes home. She hasn’t boarded there yet but I feel comfortable knowing that she’ll be in good hands and well taken care of. Thank you!

Can't speak highly enough of the people that make Keshet what it is. Wonderful organization! We bring our dog there once a week and she always looks forward to going there. Keep up the great work everyone!

I had taken my dog here quite a few times since I got him and have spent thousands of dollars on boarding, this year I booked him in for thanksgiving weekend, in advance of the weekend I realized I no longer required their service and cancelled my reservation.unknowingly to me the cancellation did not go through. He was scheduled to go into the kennel at 8AM on the Friday and they waited until 8PM that day to contact me, at 8PM I received a phone call from a woman at the kennel, she asked for my name and as soon as I provided it she started raising her voice, saying that I was disrespectful and selfish for not cancelling my reservation and how they could have filled the spots and now it was too late. I attempted to explain the situation to her and apologized a number of times for not realizing the cancellation did not go through and said I would go on right away to fix it, I even offered to pay for the Friday but she continued to be confrontational and tell me how disrespectful and selfish I was and that next time I should do a better job of making sure. She said she didn’t want my money and she’d gone ahead and already cancelled my booking. I ensured her that I would not be returning and that I was extremely disappointed in the way she handled the situation as I had been a loyal customer for a couple of years and this was an honest mistake. I am scared to think how they must have treated my dog knowing they are so quick to snap at owners when an honest mistake is made. I would beware.

Piper had a great time, and I had a great time knowing that she was safe and well taken care of.

Our dog loves his time at Keshet, and the service we receive is always amazing. Their online booking is extremely easy to set up as well. We already have his next visit booked!

Great place. I called at the last minute needing to drop off my 2 dogs Harley and Thor. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and getting the 2 dogs in daycare for the day. The staff was great and polite.
