The food used to be good but in my last visit the food was below average. I also feel that the food is overpriced.

I ate at his house at noon a few days ago. It was the worst experience. I ordered a total of 3 dishes. Two dishes were unqualified. Why is the fish tasteless? Originally cooked fish is easy to pick up, why is it so hard to pick up today's fish? The skin couldn't come off when I picked it up, and finally realized that there was a piece of fish with blood on it, and the uncooked fish skin couldn't get off when it was connected together. The first bite of the onion and ginger oyster pot was in the mouth, and a little bit of the whole thing was eaten. Oysters have no taste at all. I am afraid that my taste is wrong, so I quickly asked my family to taste it. My family who lived by the sea since I was a child thought it was wrong. I called the waiter, and the waiter came back and replied: There are two types of oysters. This one is powdery. Yes, you have heard how many merchants can talk nonsense, have you heard of it? The oysters were served first. We thought that although there was no oyster flavor, they were still cooked and could be eaten. We didn’t expect to find the raw piece of fish until the end of the fish. We didn’t think about discounts or anything like that. I don't want to come here next time. Before leaving, the waiter said that there was a discount, and we didn't look at the list carefully. After paying the bill, we still gave a tip of a few dollars. Before leaving, the family said to the waiter: Today's tip is not good.many. The waiter said: It's okay, I understand. Just now a friend told me: Some time ago, a batch of canned oysters were sold in the market, so it was right. It turned out that they were made of canned oysters. It’s not fresh, and it’s not in freezing weather. It’s actually canned fish. No wonder it’s tasteless. I thought about the poor meal today and it cost 83 yuan. Hit 9.7% off, a total of more than one dollar cheaper. Now the other company's "Qiang Kee Chicken Porridge" is afraid to go, for fear of a nest of snakes and rats.

I've eaten at this place several times, but for some reason, it's been getting worse. The service is still okay, but the quality of the food has declined significantly. I used to order the oyster hot pot every time, but today's oyster hot pot tasted extremely poor, with no oyster flavor at all. It's possible that they used oysters that had been stored for too long. Plus, the prices have gone up significantly. A bowl of dry rice now costs $3.5, and the quality of the rice is decent. It feels like they've changed chefs, but even with a new chef, they should maintain the freshness of the ingredients!

This used to be one of my favourite haunts but unfortunately, can't say that anymore. We recently went there for the Seafood Chow Mein and Seafood Congee and was royally disappointed. The chow mein had a flour residue and the noodles was far from crispy like the one it should be. The congee was watered down and was tasted like it was pure MSG. Service was pleasant enough but the quality of the food is not something I would recommend.

We had a late dinner there, only ordered a few things 芝士焗肉醬飯, 淨雲吞, 街邊腸粉.

The meat sauce has very little meat in it.
The meat inside the Wonton was hard, shrimp was good.
Steam rolls are the best, the sauce was mixed well.

The waitress was rude and with that attitude she even asked us to pay at least 10% tips. She disregarded our requests and was constantly chatting with other customers and employees.

Tradition Chinese food, Good portion, taste is very good, service is slow, order 8 dishes only half served within 10 minutes and the other half have to mention a couple time and have to wait 20 more minutes for it. They do have special prices for some dishes from Monday - Friday only. Free daily soup and deserts.

You would think with all the new competition in the plaza, your food quality would improve or remain at the same level from when you first opened. Your inconsistency in your food quality is unbearable. This would be the last time I'll be coming here after so many years. Please have a look at your crab e-fu noodles. DISGUSTING!

Food are freshly served, very tasty. Environment is clean. Service is prompt and professional. Waiters and waitress are nice. Good for family. There is promotional dishes everyday.

Ordered a vegetarian noodle n 3 kinds seafood as second item. No veggie in noodle tofu no bigger than one dice too salty! Other dish shrimp 2 only fraction of a scallop n 1 squid. Celery few snow peas. I accept. Together $23

Was craving for some satay fried noodle came hear for lunch weekend not busy at all maybe 15% full.order 2 dishes took forever they I guess the kitchen was giving priority to take outs anyways food came congee was okay.and my satay noodle was not so satay taste i have to say and chicken didn't have chicken taste and not seasoned i guess

Decided to try this place via Uber Eats. They cancelled 45 minutes after placing my order. Super unprofessional.

Food is decent and the best thing is the deep fried pig intestine. Reason why I am giving 3 star is because of the waitress. Keeps bringing the wrong orders to various tables. She brought us two wrong dishes and overheard another table next to us with the same issue. If you can't serve don't serve

Used to be a decent Cantonese restaurant, cheap and delicious but it has gone downhill for a while.
Very disappointed with recent order, unexpected protein found in my fried rice

I order take out from here quite often. The food is consistently good. I ask for Rain Jo, she's friendly and appreciates my repeat business.

Portion and serving sizes are horribly small. I understand with cost and expenses rising but the size was embarrassingly small. Upside, food tasted good.

I have been going here for years and their food is always flavourful and appetizing; a family favourite because there is something for everyone. Their daily specials are priced very well (wonton noodle soup is $5 on Wednesday’s) and our favourites are the salt and pepper squid (pictured below but we ate half) and the stir fried beef. I like the amount of sunlight you get when you dine in and the utensils and seating area were very clean. They also give you complimentary dessert after your meal, the desert will vary but ours was red bean soup when we went.

Seafood chowmein and lobster in black bean sauce are my favorite here. Not sure why such low ratings for this restaurant.

The food quality & service was good. The food came quickly and the portion was reasonable. The price was fair and affordable.

Poor quality. Cooked food on open tray left outside in the hallway, open to the public next the garbage can.

I ordered a couple of dishes from this place yesterday.one of the dish we found a fine wire. Really disgusting!

A decent place for Hong Kong style breakfast (congee, wonton noodles, cheung fan, etc.) The confee is very good here and generously portioned. The wonton is weak - doesn't taste fresh and soup not hot enough. They "Bird Nest Fried Toufu" was an interesting dish.some loved it but I thought it was too oily. Anyway, this is a reliable place for breakfast.

It wasn't crazy busy like a lot of these smaller Chinese restaurants in the area, may be we were early. It got busy a little later. Dishes were reasonably priced, comparable to others similar places in this plaza. The beef brisket soup noodle was sub par but the rest of the dishes were ok. Food came fast and service was friendly. Will try other dishes next time.

We are regular customers here. Good place for simple noodle and rice dishes, congee and even seafood. Staff are friendly.

Meh, my friend got the sweet and sour chicken and it was basically ALL flour and skin - no meat.

The fish balls I got was mixed and watered down with flour.

Not very impressed. The only thing that was good was seating comfort and it opens late.

Got here around 4pm on a weekend during afternoon tea time. Free drink with order. Decent quality food. Prices comparable to others in the area. Not too busy so didn't have to wait for a table or food. Wouldn't mind coming back.

Good savoury food. Service is generally pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Specials of the day are popular and sometimes runs out. They're also only listed in Chinese. As a CBC I always have to ask what the special is.

Always good. They have maintain their quality all the time. They have special price items everyday of the week. Very good service too. The people are very nice and helpful.

Let me start with this, their menu has so much variety, at a reasonably low price. You won’t get bored of coming here every week!

Their seating is comfortable, and you’re not in squishy tables. When it’s near dinner time or weekend, you can expect a bit of a line up, but not for long. Service is casual here, but they’re quick & accommodating, and you don’t have to worry about waiting. I’d say out of their multiple franchises, this one is my go-to location.

Ordered take out fried squid and chicken knuckles. The batter or way they fry food is very oily. Was not very good. Won't be returning

Don't order this so-called "Chicken Balls with Rice" dish (菜遠雞球飯) from their afternoon tea set. It's a misnomer. There are no chicken balls and instead, it's cheap chicken strips (like the kind you get with noodle soups) in a goop of thick starchy sauce (茨汁). When I asked the server about this, he was like, "yeah, it's kind of like chicken balls but in strip form". Ugh. Waste of my $10.45.
