KFC

The consistency in the quality of food has improved dramatically at this location, which was one of the main reasons so many people myself included stopped going to KFC, no one wants to eat left over fried chicken. Great improvement however the service is on the slower end, the staff is not to be blamed though, having the option to tip is great, but definitely awkward and inconvenient when you are just going through a drive through, it’s the employees that need to pay their staff more, and maybe even hire more employees

This is the only KFC I've been to where the drive through takes 20 minutes. Staff are friendly and apologetic for the wait. This seems to be a management issue.

Wait, wait, wait. Understaffed and unable to fill orders in any reasonable time. Not the fault of staff; they were run off their feet. The young woman at the counter worked with courtesy and organization, and frequent apologies for the delays. Clearly, a management issue: poor staffing during peak periods creates unhappy customers. Took 28 minutes from when I placed an order in store until it was ready. Arrived home, and the sides were hardly even warm. Disappointed by the experience today. Hopefully the owner /managers get off their A@&es! Stop raising prices/counting $$ and get on the front lines and experience the customer frustration.

Worst kfc ever had someone bud in front of me then still waited 10 mins still not to be served 3 workers 2 customers in the store not including me and no service will never recommend this kfc unless a miracle happens lol

Just another dried out chicken order with watery gravy. I don't even know what part of the chicken I got. Definitely weren't legs, thighs or breasts. I did receive hot fires which were perfect, and I was shocked. Haven't had hot fries from anywhere in Ontario in about 5 years.

Staff not professional at all, not trained properly.neha misbehaves with all the guests instead of assisting them properly. Not acceptable from such a franchise like KFC that they hire staff like this without proper background and training.

Why on earth would you have a tip option on your debit machine in the drive thru? First of all what am I tipping for? Second I don’t want to touch the debit machine, I should be able to tap and go this is absurd

If you want chicken that is greasy and dry plus the pcs were so small it’s a joke
Out of 8 pcs 2 could be considered ok the others were Patric I don’t know how kfc can even justify serving such small pcs of chicken
Should have gone to Popeyes or church’s at least then my family would have had a decent meal

Went to this KFC for a guilty pleasure meal of a four box of extra crispy chicken. It wasn't a pleasure of all and it was so dry I could barely eat it.

The worst kfc. Food is often over cooked or wrong, and the staff don’t even talk to you. They don’t even fill the drinks up all the way. Go somewhere else

I ordered 4pieces combo to go at Silvercreek, Guelph.when I got home, opened it, there are 4pcs dried chickens: 1drum and 3 look like chicken thights and there is a piece of bone left over in the box that make you feel like your chicken has been recollected from some one left over and now being served to you. That was a terrible experience I had. The service was fast but the food was terrible, I would never come back to that location again.

I try never giving a bad review as bad as this but sometimes it's necessary. We were a loyal customer but instead of trying to keep our business the manager decided to lose us as customers.

Went there and asked for fresh chicken. Told them I can wait, which I have done in the past. The manager told me no and that the chicken has only been sitting for 30 min. This is not acceptable. Chicken sitting out under a lamp drying out for thirty minutes? Chicken should never be out that long and be sold. Told me they will not be making more chicken for and hour and ten minutes which would mean that this location will keep the chicken sitting out with some pieces over an hour and a half old.

My point being that if a customer wants fresh chicken then they should get fresh chicken. It takes 25 minutes to make fresh chicken and if the customer is willing to wait, they should satisfy their request. If he had done what I asked, he would have made the sale, I would have stayed a customer and while I waited, those customers that came in while I was waiting that don't care if the chicken was sitting around would have still bought the chicken. I will never be back, not because I don't like the chicken, it's because I don't appreciate the lack of care this location has for the customer.

My advise to the manager, change your policy or reviews like the snot and spit one will be taken seriously, not saying it's not a real incident, your attitude just makes it that much more believable.

By the way if the manager never did what he did yesterday I would have never read all the bad reviews. Now after reading them and applying what transpired with me and my family and that KFC location, we won't be back.

No kids burgers… and the regular sandwich costs over $10! And then the bun is so old and almost crumbling like a cookie! Just AWFUL! How is KFC still in business?

The manger was very rude and swore at me and then closed the drive thru window. I ask for 2 extra sauces with my large popcorn chicken. Terrible customer service. I will not be returning. Just disgusted from their service. If their was negative stars I would give. This was Oct 29 at 5: 15pm

Too much wait time for one burger and the famous chicken sandwich had some sweet sauce which was really ugly.

Absolutely horrible, will never return, got a 3 piece chicken dinner, you could ring the grease out of it, fries were dried out and cold, gravy had no taste like it was watered down! My dinner consisted of my pop. The pigeons and seaguls had a good feast, as I tossed my whole 10.00 out the window & it wasn't even fit for my dog, he didn't want it either. I figured that it could be just that 1 time was bad and I tried again, each time it was disgusting! Will drive across town for a different KFC or Mary Browns will get my busn. Also reading through reviews from as far back as 1.5 yrs ago, they don't even care about this either. DONT WASTE YOUR $$ ON LINING THEIR POCKETS. DONT GO! DONT DO IT.

Tried the chicken sandwich. It does not look like the advertised picture at all! Cheaper than Mary Brown's, but not nearly as good.

I tried their new Famous Chicken Sandwich. It certainly was not like what you see in the picture! My chicken piece was quite small and over cooked. It had way too much sauce. I have to be honest that I was greatly disappointed. Should have gone to Mary Browns across the street.

Waited 15 minutes in drive through to get my food after ordering it with 3 cars in line truely not fast food if you come to this location.

Two stars for the friendly and polite staff who work hard. Minus three stars for the dried, burnt, overly salty chicken pieces. I'm not a picky eater (hence KFC) but I had to force myself to eat this meal. The chicken was so bad. Just realised how much KFC shrunk the size of the containers for cole slaw and macaroni. KFC is not worth it anymore. I'm better off going to Zehrs or something to get a whole chicken.

It was ok, the chicken seems to not have the KERNELS ORIGINAL RECIPE, Tasted different and was overcooked! Ill try again though!

Update- tried again tonight. Half hour before they closed and they are 'all out of chicken'. What a joke for a business.
Waited 15 mins (only person in the restaurant) for service to be advised it would take 25-30 mins for chicken.
Do yourself a favor and go to the downtown location.
When we brought this up with the other location, we were advised that a lot of people have been going to this location instead of the silvercreek location due to the service, and cutting costs on food.

Most horrible service ever! Everytime I’ve come to this location I have to wait 5-10 minutes in drive thru or told to park my car, today I was told it would be a 5 minute wait for two wraps, got parked, 15 minutes later still waiting. Watched as the staff all stood around and realized I was still waiting. When the staff member arrived to bring my order their was no apology for the wait time and just handed the bag and walked away. Management needs to step up their game.

Sorry but this was the worst kfc I have ever had. I live 2 mins from there and fries were frozen and gross, chicken was also ice cold…really disappointing

Asked for no ice in drink got tons of ice.

Avoid this location, and maybe kfc in general.

Want to give negative stars but not possible did an online order for pickup ordered at 6: 02 pickup was supposed to be 15 minutes at 6: 45 when I arrived there was no order for me. I had someone come out cop an attitude with me Dissana said we didn't get online orders because of a power failure it's not my fault it's going to be 8 minitues. I responded, is it my fault for ordering this is unacceptable she said I'll give you 2 free pieces of chicken and stormed off

Extremely rude staff. Food not ready when ordered 30 minutes in advance. Chicken was in odd shapes and unidentifiable, skin was all falling off and soggy. Gravy container was only half full and had absolutely no flavour. I completely regret ever going there and will never return complete waste of money most of the food ended up in the garbage.

Worst customer service. Team members don’t know how to treat customers. Fries are always like that they are sitting from an hour, very soggy. Very disappointing.

I have never came here to this location, so it was my first time and i asked a question and the manager was half asleep and completely saying something else on a different topic.really rude man in general.can’t believe they would hire someone like him.

I ordered the 4 piece dinner and asked for dark meat. The drumstick was larger than the thigh. Very few french fries, no bun or salad. It was not enough food for even my 5 year old grandson.

The elderly lady needs to take some classes on customer service, very rude at handling my cold order. Eventually looked after me but super rude!

Pretty awful. They got my order wrong and only gave me half the food I paid for so I had to go all the way back. The gravy wasn't even gravy, was more like a bowl of grease. And the workers were even worse. Go to the other locations in Guelph, this one is absolutely terrible.

Gross. Grease dripping from the chicken and pooling at the bottom of bucket. Some chicken wasnt even crispy. Watered down tasteless gravy. Smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen.

Slow drive thru and cold chicken strips! Buddy is out here scrubbing the side walk after a full day and night of rain but the drive thru hasn't moved in 20 minutes. Lots of loud conversations and laughing coming out of that back door though. Pathetic.

Ordered off of skip the dishes today. Waited half an hour only for them to cancel my order altogether once the driver got there. They won't get me ordering from them again.

I was at this store on Saturday and looked in thru the takeout window and saw the manager in the kitchen area with her face mask under her nose. I asked to speak with her and remarked I was uncomfortable with her not wearing her face mask properly in the food area. Perhaps if she is hot she should wear a face shield or stay out of the kitchen. Our order was wrong and I observed the window cashier go in the kitchen and pull his mask down obviously in support of the manager. Very disappointed.

Worst KFC on the planet. I've gotten 3 buckets of chicken from this store and everytime the pieces have been mangled. They take the pieces and cut them in half and sell it like that. Super shady place. The first time I got two buckets at one time and figured it was done by mistake. Bi tried it a second time with a single bucket and the same thing again. Go to the one on Wellington, no shady owners there

The worst place to go for vegetarian burgers. They don’t even pay attention what you are ordering. When you didn’t ask for any dressing how you can put. You will not ketchup until unless you ask for. And this happened with me thrice. Are you serious your are doing your job well. Worst customer service.

They couldn't read the listed order made through skip the dishes. It was supposed to be the sandwich bucket: 4 sandwiches and a large french fry. I added gravy onto my order as well for the fries. My order came to $33 with delivery. The fries were left out so we called to let them know. We were told that because we ordered the gravy instead, they swapped the fries (lol what?) I insisted I wanted my order completed. They refused. When I worked at a chicken franchise, when this happened, WE replaced the item and redelivered it out of our own pocket. They tried giving us a discount on our next order (useless, since after this there will be no next order). They were rude and condescending when all I wanted were the fries they I paid for that were supposed to come with my order. Now I sit here in tears writing this, trying to think about how I'm going to eat this larger gravy with nothing to go with it.

Fries were cold and the chicken was dry and tasteless. One star is for the soft drink, it was fine.

This new store is so much better run and better quality then other store in guelph glad to get good food from kfc again

Service is often slow and regularly makes mistakes. Food is sometimes below expected standards. Management has always been supportive and understanding when complaints are made but progress needs to be made to stop the mistakes from happening in the first place. I have noticed small improvements since October 2020 but still inconsistent

I feel very uniquely and specifically nauseous, having eaten KFC, although I can't say that I didn't get what I was expecting.

Absolutely disgusting! Drive through order. We ordered two Big Crunch combos.which were not bigger than a crispy chicken from McDonald’s. We ordered them spicy and got regular. The fries were stale.sitting out for too long before serving. They were almost cold. One of the cups of fries had twice the amount as the other one. And Our drinks weren’t labelled. The young guy at the window wasn’t very polite either. Very frustrating. If I could give zero stars I would. We will not be returning to this establishment again.

KFC always great taste, the staff here is a bit slow always new faces but It's not a busy place so you won't wait.

Garbage service. Rude, slow. Customer before us had issues as well, and was dealt with very rudely. Left our food cooling on the counter for more than five minutes before bagging it. Got home and found a long black hair in our food. My wife is dirty blonde and I have short hair. This was not the first time I've had bad service at the Silvercreek location, but it will absolutely be the last.

No one was in the restaurant but the service was quite slow. Just a crunch sandwich took 7 minutes. I haven't been in a KFC for quite a while but found out that they don't serve the classic chicken sandwich anymore. I do like that they had paper straws though. Overt Jesus-lyric Christmas music over their speaker system.

Staff is always a hit or miss and seem to always be over worked which is not fair to them. Honestly each time my husband has placed an order he has never ever and I mean ever gotten the correct order. Something is either missing or something he didn't order is there instead. The location is not the best due to parking lot around it. But the food itself is what you expect from KFC.

First time in 20yrs! Ordered 6pc chicken. They were very tiny and there was a chicken back! The box was covered in grease and so was the chicken. Also it was extremely salty. 3 of the 6 went straight to the garbage as that is what it was. They will never see any order from me again. I want to give it 0 stars, but I can't.

Long wait. Takes order with 3 staff only on lunch hour. Take home took 50 min missing fries.too cheap to hire more stsff

This location has great tasting food, wait times are a different story though. The problems we have had though is waiting far to long for food in which case I know chicken takes longer to cook but 20+minutes is long.

Next there's the issue where you get home and have the wrong order or missing items that you pay for.

Lastly they are under staffed at times and when trying to change an order after it was taken I we were told rudely that it was not possible.

For taste this location is recommended but just make sure you have the time and patience for it.

I had a terrible experience. My French fries were cold and had two hairs in them. The staff ignored me while they finished their conversation and asked me to repeat myself as they were more interested in each other than taking my order.
I believe that I will make a point of telling people to choose somehow else to eat.

Dodgy service at the drive through. It's just as likely that you'll be in line for 10 minutes as it is that you'll get fast service.

Please hire people who can compentantly complete drive thru orders.gravy was not consistant compared to other kfc franchises. Got eight chicken tenders instead of nine. Didn't ask me what drink I wanted, no dips offered.
