KFC

Not only the worst KFC I have visited, but the single worst fast food restaurant I have been to period. Workers will not acknowledge your existence for several minutes, will not look at you when they do, and just drop the food on the counter after a 12 minute delay. The food is always cold, never fresh even after waiting way too long, and obviously overpriced. The newly renovated business is the ONLY positive thing I can say about this location. Head office needs to visit here and completely revamp the management and food operations, because there are ZERO redeeming qualities about this KFC. Do not waste your time and visit the Popeyes across the road for actual decent fried chicken.

This has to be the weirdest and worst KFC I've ever encountered. Closed at 4pm on a weekday, no chicken once. I certainly wont be wasting my time and money here. Go across the street and get Popeyes if you really want chicken.

I wish there was a place to show "zero" stars for the KFC in Bracebridge! I've went there once, tried to go inside, then told I had to get inclined at the drive through as they "didn't have enough staff to open the store" I just tried to place an order tonight at 4: 15, only to find out they close at 4pm! Their hours are noon till 4pm! I can't believe this! It's okay, Popeyes is opening directly across the street from them.it's too bad but Popeyes is about to shut KFC down

Poor service only open 4 hrs never have any chicken ready and if they do its been sitting out cold and Grey in color should just close down like gravenhurst will never be back or tell friends to go

I understand that things can be tough right now but please update your hours atleast so the general public knows what's going on with your business. 12-4 everyday is not a great schedule and I'm sure lots of people are upset that they can no longer bring KFC home to their family for dinner.

Worst location ever! When/if they decide to even open food is always overcooked or cold (or both) this location is hardly even open at all waste of a store front highly recommend not even wasting your time tried to follow up with corporate but basically got told they didn't care won't be returning to any kfc again across the road is Swiss chalet its always spot on go there

Absolutely horrible service you can never hear or understand then orders are always wrong they left out an entire bucket of chicken

Rarely open during posted hours, and when they're open you're served what seems to be old food.

They are never open when they say they are. At least update your hours. The amount of times I have driven here during their hours and they were closed is ridiculous.

Terrible hours, most people want lunch and dinner and they are never open for the proper hours listed on website, head quarters for kfc needs to do something about this or shut it down

It's 2: 40 in the afternoon on a Friday. They say open.but they are closed. This place should just close down. It's terrible to get excited for kfc and they are always closed way before their posted hours.

If I could rate this no stars I would, they’re never open, online hours are incorrect, on the door it say they’re open from 12-4 everyday, what is that. How a restaurant can be out of chicken the prime food they sell is beyond me!

Was closed early due to a staffing shortage. I arrived just as they closed the drive-thru. I walked to the window and they had chicken left over to make me a bucket and a deal. 100% recommend this store.

I WAS NOT THERE. NEVER GO THERE. May have been in the parking lot but certainly wouldn't spend my hard earned money on KFC.

When ever I go to the drive through it got told sorry no chicken.between 4-5 pm this was my third time what's going on?

Worst place ever. Can't even go in to order, drive be threw is always way to long, or told they only have boneless chicken.

Worst experience ever, everything was cold, gravy was cold and watery. Waited 20 min in drive thru to order because you couldn't walk in for some reason. I had to drive through again because they forgot the fries in 2 of the 3 combos. The guy had the nerve to argue with me about what I ordered. Still didn't get salt which I asked for 3 times. I will be calling head office. The workers were lazy and there was no rushing at all.

This is the only KFC I ever been at that only the drive thru is open, been there several times now and not once I have been able to go inside during regular hours, its always only drive thru open which is pathetic.
If the can't serve inside then close the entire place down, not everyone drives!

They are Never open. And when they are they never answer the phone or have online ordering available, you can’t even go into the store. I understand being short staffed but at least update to your actual hours. I’ve tried soo many times to get food here and it’s impossible! Never used to be this bad.

Service is EXTREMELY slow, the food tastes old, chicken is dry, and they close the restaurant early at random times so you can't even trust the close times.

As other users have mentioned, no drive-thru line makes all the sense on the world. They don't answer when you sit there.

Make sure you verify all of our items are in your order before you pay, I've never had a place more consistently leave things out of my order, things I've paid for, than this one restaurant. Nice staff, just maybe overwhelmed with 1 car in the drive through every 5 ish minutes?

DO NOT go to this KFC. Never gets an order right, takes forever at the window and never answers the phone. If i could give less than 1 star i would. Avoid at all costs

We're not opened at 6pm door locked and no message on the door! They need to have things posted.

This is a strange KFC. You never know if it's going to be open or closed. The app does not allow you to order from this location. The drive-thru can also be very slow. Check your meal before you drive away.

Drive thru in a lady was super rude. She said bad word to me. She called me a dog. I was so upset.

This place used to be a little slow but lately their on point. Everything is tasting good and you actually get what you ordered.

Store says they open at 12. It's 10 minutes past and there's literally 3 other customers standing here, employees inside just staring at us and not unlocking the door. Not so great service.

While McD’s next door was busy (12: 30 on a Thursday), this place was empty… now we know why.
Ordered a meal with a dipping sauce, which was missed (did I mention not another car in line and the dining room is locked).
Walked back to the window and saw a young lad leaning on the counter… he motioned that I needed to “drive up” to the window (again, not another soul around). I indicated I’d already paid for the meal and he just shook his head at me.
Oh, and the young lady at the window had zero customer service skills.
As I walked back to my vehicle another customer was deciding to leave and said this was typical of this location.
First and last stop here.

In Bracebridge. Chicken is not the same as when it was run by the girls when it was at the top of the hill. I received pieces that l have never had before. Soggy and there were pieces that did not look well.

Food's good BUT pricy for what you get. And they are SLOW AF @ this location it's quicker to drive to Hunstville or Gravenhurst.

I just called this place like 30 times to place an order and they don't answer the phone, filling a complaint for every call i made with corporate f this place.

Drive through made me wait 5 minutes then told me they are only accepting cash, now I'm stuck in this line up and I can't get out. A sign would've been good.

I've been to Bracebridge twice, missed them both times. I can't understand how a restaurant that sells food closes for dinner. If life was a circus, this location would be the clown car. If you're craving chicken go to McDonalds.

Employees very rude, making hand gestures to the customer from behind the counter, did think anyone could see them I guess

This location is beginning to get under my skin. The staff are often short and impolite. They have a horrible habit of shutting down their friers 30-60 minutes before closing, remaining open and so refusing to make most of the menu when you order. A problem which is compounded by the fact that they have made the baffling decision to close at 7 pm. Even on a bloody Saturday. It's like they don't WANT money. If you have NY alternative to get your fried chicken fix. Pass this one up. Seriously. For shame.

I find it greasy sometimes like cardboard in the drive thru probably because they have to cook it ahead of time then reheat not my favorite

OK for over three weeks now I have been trying to get KFC to refund my VISA for a cancelled app order from July 31st. I cancelled the order because my local KFC decided to lock the doors and only serve customers via the drive through. On the Saturday, the drive through was completely backed up with huge lineup of cars. Every other fast food outlet in town was not only open but provided dine in, full take out and even curbside service as per current Ontario COVID rules. But not this KFC. I called Customer Support. They advised that the order was cancelled and should a charge appear on my VISA then KFC would provide a full refund in a few business days (1-5). Sure enough the Visa was billed. Now after weeks of follow up, no fewer than 7 calls, several sets of broken promises for management to address the refund, here I am, still waiting for the refund on my account. Latest contact was on August 23, with a supervisor named Mark. It seems that KFC Customer Service is now saying the entire delay is the fault of the Bracebridge Location. They were to secure an answer from the Bracebridge Franchise yesterday (Aug 23rd). I have yet to hear back from anyone. The order was placed with kfc.ca via the phone app.kfc.ca billed my Visa and it was kfc.ca customer service that processed the order cancellation. It is odd that now the refund is being held up by the Franchise? Honestly, I do not know what to believe after all the calls and various stories/explanations/excuses I have seen over the past few weeks. This is a terrible way to run a business. Will I ever want to repeat this, not likely. A check of the Facebook KFC page and it appears I am not alone here.

Bracebridge kfc was closed, doors locked, seen employees inside, I understand they were closed the day before also, not professional. Should close the place if this is the situation.

Stopped by for a quick meal solution after a busy day. The female attendant drive thru window was rude, slammed the drive thru window after handing the meal sideways (One of the items could have leaked out)

The worst customer service I ever witnessed. I order a chicken sandwich took 20 minutes does not deserve a star.

Incredibly slow service at drive-thru. Even when one car is only in the line, it'll be 10 minutes before you're ready to have your order taken.

Only go at lunch & dinner time. All other times, chicken tastes like it sat for quite awhile.

Absolutey loved the hot and spicy popcorn chicken. Friendly staff and fast staff I was in n out the drive thru in less than 5 minutes with hot food.

Deep fried chicken with fries and gravy what can I say haha I can say the way they make there salads now are terrible compared to what they used to be.

Amazing food. Got the chicken bowl, which includes mashed potatos, corn, popcorn chicken, and chews which is grated on top. Tasted amazing.

I used to go here for lunch but have since stopped after waiting up to 45 minutes on several occasions, I also asked for a meal on the overhead display which came with gravy and the Tex kid refused to give me my gravy even tho it was supposed to come with it, not impressed hire staff that don’t think they own the store. Also your wait times are ridiculous

Only problem is their posted hours did not correspond with the advertised hours, their telephone service was not correct either, not a good practice when one makes a special 30 minute one way detour to find it closed on a friday evening

As far as fast food places go, kfc was ok, they made my wrap fresh which was nice and only complaint i have is the macaroni salad tasted like i was drinking straight vinnegar and had no real flavour like im used to at other kfcs.

Yeah it's KFC yeah it's a KFC that's what it is food is homogenized tasting you could be in Texas or in LA or North Bay it'll taste like KFC and it does for all your deep fried chicken needs KFC will cover it definitely the country is the way to go now

Went through the driv-thru today only to not have anyone take my order, so after I waited and waited I decided to go inside! Three customers were ahead of me and it took them 10 mins to serve the first customer, needless to say I did not nor will I order from kfc in bracebridge

Good food.not a big fan of the newer way they cut up their chickens, but I’m getting used to it. The manager is a friendly guy. Always fresh.
