Great food, lovely people and a very nice atmosphere.have ordered online before but i was very happy to physically eat there.terrific experience overall

Today we had very nice Indian Veg Biriyani with Hot Masala Chai. Wow it was really good tasty and affordable price.

As someone who is new to Indian cuisine, I found it fascinating to try some spicy dishes with good quality and big portion!
Chicken Biryany was delicious. Overal a nice start for trying Indian food. Recommend the place

Must try - Bhindi Rajashthani and their Bhagwan planner and Aloo. Mulch’s is a next level.

Absolutely wicked spot for Indian food. Staff are friendly and helpful with recommendations. Loved the chicken appetizer. Loved the whole meal but the chicken appetizer really stood out to me. Mango lassi is great as well.

Tried the Dawat-e-murg gravy. It did not taste good. I regret ordering it. Hence I have reduced the overall rating to 3 stars

Also, the biriyani does not taste good anymore. I used to order it frequently about 2 years ago when it used to taste good but not anymore

So far I have tried chicken, mutton, shrimp dum biriyani as well as butter naan and chicken tikka masala from this place. I felt that chicken and shrimp biriyani were better than mutton. Its disappointing to see that they dont give mirchi ka salan along with biriyani. The dum biriyani rice has a very good taste and you can customize spice levels

The chicken tikka masala too has a good taste but there is room for a little improvement in terms of flavor. The flavor and spice were not well balanced but compared to the chicken tikka masala served in most other places the one served here is better

Very disappointed with the food quality.good tandoori chicken and biryani…tandoori chicken had no salt.the marinade was slightly raw.biryani was just spicy… overall i had high hopes from this place but turns out to be just another indian place that i wont visit.

We tried their Chicken kabab, Kofta shyam savera with Garlic naan, and Chicken Biryani. Taste of these items are not too good and not that bad either. Food presentation and restaurant decoration is pretty. Cute miniature pieces throughout the place is a good touch. Parking is street side.

PS: We felt their garlic naan will be best enjoyed with butter to make it more soft than crispy. If you prefer the same then make sure to order as garlic butter naan when placing the order.

Anuradha, Aditi and Abhishek made our Diwali really special. The food is amazing. If you have a craving for Indian food then you must visit this place.

Amazing food with a typical vibe to get along. Nice ambience with great taste must try BIRYANI and chicken Tikka. A very down to earth nature of host (owner) MR. ABHISHEK such a gentle personality. Will love to be served again

Few of the best places we’ve been to. Great customer service, I guess that’s the cherry on top apart from the food. I’ll recommend having Bala as the server, he did a really great job!

I would have given a 0 star rating to the service if I could. The manager serving us did not show appropriate attitude and behavior one has to serve the customers, he was rather in his own world, least bothered about the service he's providing. Turned the mood down for most of the people at the table with the way of communication.constantly kept bugging us to make it soon as the hotel was closing but didn't bother to let us know that the appetizers we ordered were sold out till the maincourse being banged at our tables. Zero knowledge of customer service.

They had special Diwali menu. Our family Diwali dinner turned out to be a DISASTER… ordered chicken pulao and it had stale chicken pieces.ordered tawa roti for each, but ended up with store bought frozen roti.chicken pulao had hardened stale chicken in it…. Vegetarian pulao was subpar…. Do yourself a favour have a frozen meal from Walmart or food from any other restaurant than this one.

This family owned business is one of the only restaurants in GTA that does justice to Indian food, customer service and quality experience. The owner, Abhishek was very kind and friendly and explained every dish in detail. The food is well- balanced, you can taste each ingredient. I will definitely be returning. Some of the must try items on the menu are: Kurkuri Bhindi, chicken sizzler, stuffed mushroom and gulabi jamun cheesecake!

I truly love the food from khau Gully. Their quality, taste and presentation is so good. I would highly recommend it for Indian cuisine. They are excellent hosts. The Khau Gully keep rocking.

Food was ok, somewhat bland. Disappointed with the service from the manager. Could have approached customers more politely and humbly. Other servers were polite with customers:)

I went there with my friends for dinner and the food was really good but the customer service.not so much. The manager was serving us and was extremely rude. First of all, he didn’t bring anything to write our order down and missed some things in the order and when we asked for the same, he didn’t even apologize for not getting it and said they were sold out. Moreover, he didn’t even ask us before clearing stuff on our table.

I definitely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Came here with my family a few times and we are all hooked.

Some of the best Indian vegan food in the city. We had the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tofu Achari, Chicken Dum Biryani with butter and methi paratha - all vegan! There is an entire seperate menu with a world of choices, and the servers are also very considerate and able to answer any questions you may have. The highlight was the dum biryani for sure - beautiful presentation and such wonderful flavours. Khau Gully shows that vegan Indian food can be more than idlis and dosa.

Tried the Mutton Biryani. It’s authentic, flavourful with tender pieces of boneless mutton cooked to perfection.

It’s a traditional dum biryani preparation and NOT just some meat mixed with rice. Served piping hot with raitha on the side.

Indian Biryani is very hard to get right. Well done you guys!

This food is absolute bliss!
I had great opportunity to taste many different meals cooked by their chef, while his one month visit in Montreal.
Since that, no doubt that this restaurant will be my must when I will visit Toronto. Because I want to try whole menu from the first line until the very last one.

I will first give a special shout-out to Anuradha, the owner of the restaurant, who was herself on call and went out of her way to take such good care of us. Everything she recommended was top notch. We ended up overeating because everything was sooo good! We ordered the crispy bhindi, chicken sizzler, lamb chops and lamb biryani. Biryani could have been a tad bit better but everything else was amazing. The ananas cocktail (made for me with mango juice instead) was great but can maybe served in a glass that is easier to drink from (not as tall!). If they had some more wait staff the service might have been more attentive and fast, but the fact that they were so busy on a Tuesday evening speaks volumes about the quality of food. I will be returning again for sure.

Best Indian food in whole of Toronto. The management is so nice felt like I was at my own home because the hospitality is just awesome. I live in Mississauga and I travel all the way just to eat food here. This restaurant is a must try guys

I had placed an order online and when I went to pick it up I was informed that they didn't receive the notification; therefore they didn't make it. Also, I was informed that they didn't have what I had ordered

We had ordered for four items this evening for pickup:
1. Bread basket
2. Paneer butter masala
3. Dal fry and
4. Vegetable Pulav

2 of the above 4 tasted good and were well prepared. The naan was soft and tasted super good with the panner butter masala. However the pulav and dal fry needs to be worked on a going forward basis as they lacked salt and were bland. Also some of the veggies in the pulav were undercooked. Due to these 2 issues had to rate at 3.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered murgh chicken. Food tasted bland. It was flavourless. I didn’t taste salt in the gravy. Maybe they forgot to add it. After telling all this to manager, she kept on saying maybe i have different taste or maybe its my first time there. This shouldn’t be an excuse of covering the mess. They should rather take each customer’s review and opinion seriously and try to improve. I also felt like food is overpriced after seeing its quality. It was my worst experience among all the Indian restaurants i visited in toronto so far. Giving one star just for customer service. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you like very very mild food (no spice at all). Also if you happen to visit this place, make sure you tell them you want spicy because they won’t ask you if you want mild, medium, spicy (unlike other Indian restaurants). I left almost more than half of the food in the plate (didn’t want to but was having no choice) and told them to bring the bill. Felt like i wasted my hard earned money. In my opinion, if we open Indian restaurant in these countries, our main focus should be attracting Indian people first and try to make food that Indians like and then we should focus on other communities. This is my honest opinion on the food, no hard feelings.

What and authentic experience! The service was amazing, beautiful decor, pleasant staff and exceptionally delicious food. Even though the restaurant was busy, the owner made it a point to greet us. Khau Gully you've definitely won a return customer.

If you like North Indian-Mughlai/Punjabi cuisines, this place is a must visit. Especially if you are vegan or vegetarian. There are dishes I thought I would never be able to eat in an Indian restaurant after going vegan, but places like Khau Gully are making it happen. Highly recommend the vegan chicken tikka masala and Naan! Small improvements in things like service time (long waits) and portion sizes of appetizers (main course sizes were perfect), would make this place an even better experience. But overall, a great place to experience "a taste of Delhi and beyond" haha

I was there for dinner last night and had an amazing experience. Service was great, very kind and welcoming staff. Ordered the butter chicken and it was one of the best fishes i’ve ever had. Overall pleasant experience, would definitely return.

The food was great! The host recommended the Mutton Biriyani which was 10/10. If you are in the mood for some Indian food, this place is a must try! A lot of variety of dishes to choose from and the hospitality is outstanding. Truly a rare gem in mid town Toronto! 10/10

Bad experience as the manager was rude. Service wasn't upto the mark. All dishes were asked to be ordered in one go and bill had extra items listed than ordered. Please make sure to check everything before you leave.

The Best Indian food in Toronto. Service is great. Their Dum Biryani is to die for. Also Subz Kebab Thaal was fresh and interesting. Cocktails are very refreshing. Better than most Indian restaurants in Toronto and superior quality and taste.
