I strongly advise against choosing this store, particularly for their cooked food. Our experience was horrendous; the food was spoiled and posed a serious health risk. We ordered a variety of dishes, including fesenjan, halim, sambusa, and spegati (Makaroni). After sharing the food, all four of us fell ill within two hours. When we called the store, we were initially told the manager wasn't available and instructed to call the next day. On the second day, the manager was in the kitchen and didn't respond. On the third day, when expressing our concerns, the manager's response was irresponsible. It seems they don't take the health of customers seriously, and even in the face of potential harm, their focus is solely on profit, with no apology or acknowledgment of the issue.

Tonight, November 24th, I went to Super Food, a respectable salesperson named Raha Khanum treated me very well, kind and at the same time formal, so I felt it necessary to share this experience. I wish them health and success. Kareem

Good. Prices are more regulated compared to other retail companies. After Corona Nofrills and foodbasics etc.doubled thir prices. Here the prices haven't gone up as much

I witnessed the lack of hygiene by your staff. The cleanliness and hygiene in your store are not properly observed.

Again it happened to me today. Never ever trust their label and whatever they bill you. Always check the price label against your bill. They are untrusted.

Best halal meat in Northyork. Their butchers are professionals & super friendly & comply to the customers demands. It's always a delight going to Super Khorakh! Their produce is always fresh & neatly placed. Excellent customer service! Highly recommended.

Ordered meat from them yesterday, the delivery guy glitched & we didn't receive the meat, he probably arrived at a wrong address or something.

The worst persian supermarket ever. Way over priced. I have never seen their employees have their masks on properly. Employees are the unfriendliest. When you get to cashiers, they don't even look at you and never a hello. No greeting at all! I always make sure to say hi to them. I have read most of the bad reviews, and there are way too many bad reviews here and the "owner" always has a response but never a solution. This place and the employees have never improved. You need to care more about your customers.

Almost had my worst shopping experience in a grocery store, while there are some nice employees some of them may be very disrespectful.
Just to clarify more, I was purchasing every now and then from the store recently and I did not have bad impression and sometime I had my bag with me during shopping and no one asked me to leave my bag before entering the store, but I went there with my father and once we entered one of the cashiers stopped us and asked my father to give the shopping bag to the cashier. It looked very strange to me. I know there are many ways for stores to protect their belongings but when you feel some policies are applied selectively to you it does not feel good at all.

5 stars for the food, 1 star for the service. Averaging it to 3 stars. I always get the Baghali polo and lamb shank (tastes heavenly). Unfortunately, have to budget my time on each visit as the staff seems to care little for the people waiting at the counter to place their orders.

Ash reshteh was not cooked properly. It needed to be on stove at least for another hour to not be that much watery and raw. The taste also was not good at all as it was not cooked properly.
The lady usually put the wrong price on the dishes. Happened to me twice. Bought food for $3.99 and paid $7.99when I found out and came back to her she said she made a mistake, took the price and printed a new one. I asked her to give me the previous one to show it to cashier as I already paid it without noticing. The cashier was so nice asked his manager to fix it soon.

The spinach sandwich is not cooking good it’s not well done even still dough on the bottom and I bought More and More most of them like that this is a message for a manager or who is responsible about the bakery section please thank you

Persian and Iranian food. First time here, small but mighty. Have hot and cold food, bakery, butcher and fish counter, vegetables and fruits. I cannot say more about the staff - they are wonderful.

You can find all the persian grocery there, but it's kinda expensive comparing to other supermarkets

They called themselves SUPER KHORAK! But i would say they are SUPER unorganized, Liars and very slow!
I ordered some groceries and food, one by one they canceled my items! If u dont have something remove it from the website instead of wasting my time and money!

Jut bought yesterday & today wholly in the garbage! Apparently expiry date doesn’t mean anything at this Super Market! Do not even deserve one star!

We had kabob kobideh, unfortunately was very dry, no butter, no salads and bunch of onion, no sumac. The service eh, could say ok.

The lady who answers extension for catering is extremely rude! I called to ask a question about Thanksgiving dinner special, she didn't even let me ask my question and couldn't wait to hang up on me. I work in customer service myself and this is not the right way to approach customers. I canceled my dinner package after this.

You can buy many food, fruit, vegetables or cans that you need to have on your persian dinner.
Some staff are not friendly but in general, there is no problem with price or.

Yesterday, while I was waiting for my food to be ready, I witnessed that a young lady asked the take-out cashier why the staff in the kitchen do not wear face masks. Although she asked very politely, the cashier started arguing with her in a rude way and brought up some ridiculous reasons for the kitchen staff not wearing face mask.
I believe the staff should be trained about the importance of wearing face mask, and also that cashier should be trained about what customer service means.

Great place to shop for persian foods and groceries. They have a butcher shop, a bread bakery, deli counter, pastry shop and take out restaurant in addition to the grocery store. The one time I did interact with the owner he was very nice and accommodating so I will strongly recommend here

Good quality on everything but I was disappointed when I had my food in small container could be better if I had two separate containers for rice and whatever.

On a food counter last night the lady played favertisem and was going to serve her friend out of line-up.that was disgusting.

Quality foods and products with a good staff. Everything is organized, and usually you don't wait in line for a long time. Pricing is a bit heavy, but it totally worth it.
Don't forget their great Barbari and Sangak bread.

I was trying to figure out how much Kaymak I want to buy, so I asked the seller if it was possible to try a little bit of the open ones. This is normal when you go deli.
I don’t know about the policy of the store but she could simply say yes or no.
However she start smirking and mocking me for my question.
This is a very rude behavior!
I wanted to give one star but the koobideh kabab was very delicious and price was good too.
Hopefully, some of the ladies there stop such a behavior!

The quality of the takeout food and the service provided are not what they used to be so now I go elsewhere after being a loyal and regular customer for several years. I don’t think the people who currently own the place understand or care that I no longer buy over a hundred dollars of food there a week or that I would consider returning if the quality of the food and service improved again, which is unfortunate.

Very dirty places to eat food nice dirty fly on the salad i went to buy food but when i saw dirty fly on salad i didnt buy any food.it is not clean places to eat food.

This supermarket is a landmark in North York and offers everything that is needed for Persian cuisine. We enjoyed the fresh baked bread to the fresh produce offered here. The Khorak take out counter offers the best kabobs and Persian meals in the city and is perfect for catering events!

Very delicious food (kebab, Vaziri, Chicken and etc), incomparable with other Iranian stores. I enjoyed a lot.

Khorak Market is absolutely amazing. Fresh produce and they have done an incredible job for the Persian New year, I loved their Bazar. They have absolutely no other competitor in Toronto that has the exact same products. I have family who travel from back home JUST to shop a ton of stuff from Khorak and stack up on their goodies.

Clean and well organized with lots of variety. The pastries are not something I would purchase again, they're dry. The prices are going up, it's getting expensive.

There are many other Persian markets in thd neighborhood with much much better items and friendly staff.

Food is the worse we have tried. Rice is not even close to what persian rice should look or taste like, its a shame. Kabab is also terrible, not marinated properly and undercooked. For such a big well known supermarket, you should have better trained cooks!

I agree with some reviewers about being overcharged at the cash register and the rude staff. Store Is good overall but seems to need a staff overhaul and management needs to pay attention to these issues and reviews and take responsibility.

Rude and people and staff. Bad customer service. Be aware of the price of what you by people. Price on the item is different that what they charge you. Even if you recognize that, they will say what we charge is correct and you Don't want it so Don't buy.

Always buy takeout from their inside food section. Stuff is always fresh and portions are good as well.

Typical Persian grocery store with all the essentials. Prices are a bit much but that's what you get when you ship food all the way from the other side of the world. They also have a kabob place inside that isnt as good as others in the neighborhood. The staff were actually a bit rude to me and I wont be going back. Their competition is in the plaza just south of them on the same said and although they arent as large the pricing is similar, they are much more helpful and friendly also their fresh Kabobs are way better.

Worst customer service i have ever seen and stay away from this place if you have food allergies. We bought what was advertised as chopped up Almonds ($25 worth) and my gf realized they were peanuts after she used them for baking!
We took it back and instead of apologizing the owner kept blaming the supplier! We asked them to remove them off the shelf or at least change the name for safety and allergy reasons to no avail. What makes this worse is the fact that we got no apologies for false advertising or for wasting our time. I hope no one is hurt because of this. Beware!

If only I could give 0 star. We tried calling to ask if they have" chaghale badoom" they kept picking up the phone not answering or hanging up the phone on us. Very unprofessional and rude. After finally getting through with a condesending tone she replies " No sweetie we don't have it".

Walked in, stood in the line to order food for 15 minutes, just standing there waiting to order, nobody even acknowledged that I'm standing there.and I walked out.

Great staff. I enjoyed my recent interaction with a young lady working as a cashier, Mahshad. She was nice, pleasant and patient enough to answer all my questions.

Well stocked with Persian goods, fruits, vegetables, sweets, dry goods, fresh meat, fresh baked Persian breads and other basic groceries. The items are moderately priced. No organic options.

I LOVE going to Khorak. Period! The best spot to shop all the necessary items needed on a daily basis. They did a GREAT job for this Norooooz! I Agree with all the 5 Star comments. It's the best placeeeee in Toronto. Both for Persianss and non persian communities.:)

The potential for this place is great but the staff is rude, they are over priced, and will try to scam you at the register on the price. Make sure you mark down the price and check your receipt. PS parking is a nightmare.

The most popular persian grocery store in Toronto. Super Arzan and Parsian are also now quite popular. This one is the biggest of them all. I feel that prices are inflated. If you can find any of the items in big chains, buy that item there. For items not found elsewhere though, you're kind of stuck with this place.

I love the new delivery system they have in place, it makes things a lot easier and much more time efficient for me! Make sure to check the place yourself as well since they have a lot up their sleeves and you may miss on some good last minute stuff, love the place, 5 out of 5
