Kidstown Water Park

As I visit the place every summer, I can tell this season’s staff and management are incredibly terrible. When the staff wanted to announce about the closing time of the water park, she was acting very inappropriate and silly. The staff started all laughing crazy at the back and the microphone was on to everyone in public to hear. The manager came out kicking the rest of the people. He started to yell disrespectfully at a gentleman waiting for his kid to come out of the bathroom. People working there are a complete joke. I hate to have my children whiteness such mess. Not coming back again although it’s the best water park in Scarborough.

Awesome place for kids to have fun. I love how everyone can gather in their little groups.

The big splash pad was closed on a really sunny Thursday afternoon. There was a thousand kids in the little pad.

Half the equipment is cautioned taped off. My kids still had a great time using what was available. As it was free I guess I can’t complain too much. Would be great if the fixed the equipment.

Absolutely terrible!
Obviously, it is very crowded over the weekend, but given that 3/4 of the facility is broken, it was so overcrowded.
Also, no showers, change rooms are dirty and the toilets are smelly.

Best Waterpark in Toronto! The playground and BBQ area beside the Waterpark is also fairly descent.

Great place for kids! It is one of the longest running successful public outdoor recreational areas for kids in the city!

Nice water park, clean washrooms and water fountains. Kids really enjoy it. Separate picnic area for families.

Place has gone downhill. Used to be super good but the staff don’t pay attention to anything and someone always ends up hurt.

Their wave pool doesnt work but great place to bring the kids (0 months-13 years old) and can bring food in

Bring your own grill kind of park, unlimited water park or splash for kids, play area, all kinds of sports and huge parking area that fills up quickly. Fun for entire family regardless of age. Clean restrooms too. Plenty of space for cook outs. A lot of activities possible, the rest is upto your imagination. Come one come all.

A great family place. Children will get to enjoy the Waterpark and playground as well. They run music in the background, clean, and organized life guards. Fits all ages, so I highly recommend it

Always a great place. Free to come, adjacent to a public park with a play ground and a soccer field. Been coming here since I was a child and now I get to bring my own child here as well - there is a splash pad structure with a tipping bucket, and a small slide into a baby/toddler friendly pool. Ample space for picnicking and the ability to BBQ on grounds is wonderful

This was the driest waterpark I've ever been to. Over half the water fixtures weren't operational, the slide and wading pool wasn't running, and the water level was at about 30% of what the park was designed for.
There's also so much trash in the water and an abundant of lifeguards (the only positive) that didn't bother to clean it up (. Not their job?)

Maybe it was an off day and my kid still enjoyed so I'll give it another try. But boy that didn't live up to my expectations from the photos.

Great waterpark for the kids! Free! Parking available. Only one gate entrance is open which is good to control the flow of people. All children need to have an adult present, which is also a good safety measure. There are plenty of lifeguards, at least on the weekends, and the staff were nice. There is a changeroom/washroom area. There is a nice big park with picnic tables and a park with sand as well just outside the splashpark gates. The kiddies had a blast! One thing to note but seems obvious is the water is freezing! Lol

Very unprofessional rude staff working there they don't clean the water properly and constantly yelling and screaming at the kids not happy and not going to visit this place anymore it is not safe I will also complain about it to health department not proper social distancing and very aggressive staff working there.

This place is excellent for kids, adult, even senior hahahaha. Free parking, free to enter, large park you can BBQ, absolutely worth it! COVID GO AWAY SO WE CAN HAVE FUN AS MUCH TIME AS WE WANT! 45MINS ISNT ENOUGH

Lots of water activities and free currently you can book in advance or line up in drop in line and at the hour people are let in from both lines guaranteed up to 150 people for 45 minutes of wet and soaking fun for the entire family

Great place to visit with the family. Lots of area to sit including cover areas. You are permitted to bring outside for in which is really nice. Pricing is okay, lots of parking including parking room for trailers which was great. Also a decent amount of camping sites in the area. For sure worth checking out.

Kidstown water park is my favorite water park the giant tipping bucket used to dump the water every 5 minutes or so and sometime it got stuck and couldn't dump but today sunday august 1 2021, the water park has opened again and the giant tipping bucket fills up in 30 seconds and has to trubble dumping i wish i could rate it 100+ stars.

Great kids love it, but usually pretty full. Also kind of dirty but hey it's full of filthy children so it's to be expected lol

Used to go here as a kid love the interface so much it is a free waterpark which makes this a plus must go dont listen to those people who gave negative reviews on this go here to play basketball now and there is a basketball court which makes this area so good

When I got here there was dirt everywhere and on the slide. When I was about to leave, someone was changing infront of everyone

Best waterpark in the town free of charge. Big parking space. Nice washroom for changing wet cloths. Kids enjoy a lot. I recommend everyone to visit with your kids. You can celebrate kids birthday there. There is a special arrangement for that. The L’amoreaux park beside this water park has multiple hill tops and walking trails that will certainly thrill you.

Great that it's free and 4-year old has fun. Got there for opening and there were already several summer camps lined up waiting. Very bus.

Lots of space for larger groups. Waterpark is fairly big and it has a huge water bucket and water slide. On site life guards available when the wading pool is open

Great water park BUT what is with the loud radio on the speakers? Absolutely irritating! Won't be coming back. The grass is also extremely dirty

Quite impressive for a free splash pad. Free parking available - on busy days the lot fills quickly but there are always people leaving every few min. Washroom and dressing room facilities. You can rent a small space within the splash park for birthday parties, etc. There is a large picnic area where lots of families BBQ. There is basketball courts and a small soccer area close. No pictures allowed in the splash area.

Fantastic place to bring your kids. Slide, splash pads and big bucket splash soaker! Good mix of areas for small and big kids. Big thank you to the Lifeguards who put up with alot of bad parenting. Pay attention to your children.

Aesthetic environment for kids and adult. Swimming pool, swings and slides, lots of green areas for kids and adult.

RATIO ARE VERY IMPORTANT!
Any one 5 and under are only 2: 1 (2 kids to 1 adult)
If you have anyone older it’s fine but if you have 2 kids and a baby, water features are restricted.
Would recommend single washrooms in the back, much nicer than the changing room bathrooms.
No pictures or videos are allowed.

It's a fun place for Kids. There are no entry fee. My kids loved this place. Before I landed here, they said we will not go. After we reached there they didn't want to leave

Had an amazing time. Not only was there a fairly large water park, the picnic area was huge and just beyond the fenced in area is a huge playground. All day fun!

The best free water park! Kids had a great time! Make sure you're within the adult/child ratio or they may not let you in

This place is amazing for kids. Best time is to get there just before opening to get a good spot for a few hours pack snacks or a lunch is a good idea. Usually gets very busy here and it's free.

Awesome place to take the kids on a hot summer day. Free entry. Has a regular parknoutside the water park and an area for soccer and basketball. Lots to do.

The place is very good to come with the family and they really have the best free waterpark i have ever seen. There is a big garden as well in the same premises. The only issue over here is that the parking lot is very small and parking is very difficult. Dont park anywhere in the park as you may get fined. You can do barbeque as people were doing it but you need to bring the complete setup as only free space is available.

One of the best free municipal water parks out there with various water play activities for the kids and multiple lifeguards yet some water equipments are malfunctioned same as for every other municipal owned water parks. The Best part of the place is that There are lots of trees for shade and picnic for the families. The downside is the amount of parking availability and unknown cleanliness of the water.

Great place for the kids. The water is super cold. I wish I didn’t have to be right beside my child in a couple inches of water as he can pass a swim test in the deep end of a pool.

Nicely done @city of Toronto. It's a free waterpark and reasonably well maintained. I don't know who is in charge of parks and rec but well done sir/madam.

Fun fun gets abut crowded at times but it will definitely keep you and the kid cooled down during the summer heat.

I would give this park 5 stars, but it is always so busy. It is understandable as it is free and run by the city of Toronto. I would not want to spend the whole day as it can become overwhelming especially if you have younger kids you need to keep an eye on. The park is pretty big with plenty of features for all age groups. This is a great place to stop by for an hour or two and let the kids cool off and run off some energy.

Great place to hang out with the kids during hot weather. The vibe is cool and relaxed, you can bring a lunch. There are plenty of water toys for kids of all age. The parents can sit on the side and relax. The access is totaly free. There is a lot of shade spor too when its hot and sunny.

Kids love this park. They can walk allover and because its fenced off I can rest easy knowing they cant get out. Lots of staff. Water looked clean. Good water park. Lots to do. Lots of benches and tables. Only problem was the limit of people. On nice days get there early. Or you might not get in because its filled to capacity
