Seems salt is free, tasting the ocean. I cannot imagining that how salty and only ally in my mouth. The one and only restaurant can bring you experiences.

Service and vibe are ok, just too salty. Thai food is more then salt.

BTW the shrimps are smaller than I buy from nofrills

Kiin is a force to be reckoned with. Dinning here you are assured to be served some of most truly authentic dishes showcasing the vibrant and insanely delicious cuisine that Thailand has to offer. Each dish is masterfully balanced hitting all the right notes of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. We ordered the Royal Thai set menu and after finishing each course, I had a feeling of true excitement for the next one to arrive. A feeling I haven't had at a restaurant in a very long time. Kiin manages to excite your pallet, and maybe even challenge it, in the best way possible. Coupled with the amazing food is front of house team that is warm, friendly and extremely attentive. No water glass is left empty, napkins are refolded and placed on the table if you've left your seat, and any request is made graciously. Chatting to one of our servers, (I wish I had got his name) he told me that they are patiently waiting for this years Michelin Guild to come out to see if they will be awarded a star. In my view, this restaurant is absolutely deserving of a star and, if Kiin doesn't manage to achieve it this year, I have no doubt that they will in the near future. I would highly recommend and will absolutely be coming back to explore more of the menu!

Amazing experience, definitely the most unique Thai restaurant I've ever been too. Service was top notch and food was amazing. Would come again for special occasions.

Reserved this place for my wife's birthday after seeing great reviews and it was also was chosen as a Michelin Guide restaurant for this year. The inside is nice and cozy, more on the contemporary side rather than modern and sleek which is what I prefer.

We ended up ordering Chicken Satay which was probably the best dish, the flavour was amazing. The Smoked Duck Curry was one of our mains and this was also amazing, the mix of flavours was phenomenal. We ordered the Dry Khao Soi which was great, similar to other Thai spots.

The service was also amazing! They were super nice and friendly. They even threw in a nice little birthday treat. Highly recommend this place

Best restaurant I’ve tried so far. Our waitress Jessica and the chef gave their personal touch and hospitality to our services and our food. Definitely will come again. I enjoy so much during our meal.

Went here for lunch, and loved it! Food was immaculately presented, but none of that would matter if it didn't taste good. Happy to say that everything was amazing. Very reasonable lunch prices too!

We came here for dinner we were recommended the tasting menu and loved the whole experience. The mocktails were great as well! The service was great, explained all the dishes and the correct way to eat each of them. I came here a second time and saw they took off the fried Roti dessert, which was my favourite! I wish they bring it back to the menu

Wanted to visit for a long time. Finally got to make a reservation for Saturday.
Read the recommendations about chef’s table and got one for 5pm.
Service 10 out of 5. Got so much attention from our server Jessica and nothing but good things to say about the team in the kitchen who were working like a well oiled machine. Daniel and the rest of cooks team were all smiles yet very professionally taking care of every single menu item and garnishing with care and love.
Food - I’ve got the tasting menu and my wife got the Pad Thai. The pad Thai as an a la carte item and is huge portion with a full size lobster. Phenomenal flavours, I ate a few in my life and it is good, if not the best I ever tried. The tasting menu offers variety of appetizers that are rich in flavours and work hard on the taste buds while the main smoked duck curry took the cake. Dessert was a pleasant surprise and the coffee is of an excellent quality to satisfy a coffee snob like myself.
One of the better places I’ve been to in the recent years. In my personal opinion better than Pai that is located just down the street, even though the owners are the same.

Restaurant is just smoke and mirrors. Terrible food but good service. The curry portion was so small we thought it was someone's leftovers.

Visited Kiin and had the Sumraf tasting menu. To say the food, service and overall experience was amazing would be an understatement. You can tell throughout the evening the staff wants your experience to be a journey. Nothing was rushed, the food was brought out at a pace that allowed you to enjoy each course. The food itself is next level and the staff was amazing in their delivery and explanation of each dish. Kiin is highly recommended as a must visit.

We came here for brunch and had such a good time. Flavours, creativity, service and atmosphere were all perfected. Can’t wait to come back for their tasting menu.

We went to kiin to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday and had such an exceptional time! The service was amazing — our server Lyka was extremely kind and took the time to explain dishes to us and check on us after each course. Knowing it was my partners birthday Lyka brought over a special dessert and even a signed card. We felt like we were eating with family. To top it off, the food was to die for — we especially loved the massaman curry, delicate flower dumplings and dry khao soi. We will be back to kiin for many more special occasions to come!

Shoutout to Jeff! He made us a coconut milk based iced coffee which felt like a hole in one. The food transported us to Thailand, and so did the service and decor. It deserves its name in the Michelin Guide. It’s a place you want to go back to as soon as you leave:)

I've heard that Thai food is where simplicity and complexity meet in perfect harmony. No restaurant emulates this more than Kiin (326 Adelaide St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1R3), a marble-tiled restaurant where each plate is a masterpiece, crafted with precision and adorned with vibrant colors and intricate garnishes, offering a dining experience fit for royalty.

Since we went in the late morning, we ordered from their brunch menu so our main courses featured dishes such as khai kratha, jhok, and chor muang. With the perfectly-balanced flavors and textures of the khai kratha, the meal was the perfect option for a not-too-heavy and enjoyable brunch. The light jhok was even better, with the fragrant herbs, lime juice, and roasted rice, creating a delightful combination of tangy, spicy, and crunchy elements bringing out the bold and zesty flavors. Finally, the chor muang - intricately handcrafted steamed dumplings, filled with a delicate mixture of minced chicken and infused witharomatic herbs and spices, the dish created a beautiful and delectable culinary masterpiece showcasing the artistry and flavors of Thai cuisine. Washed down with a heavenly rose-flavored Nom Chompoo and a sweet lychee soda with bits of lychee, the meal was utterly wholesome and filling, made even better with the royal ambience.

Should you find yourself in need of a 5-star culinary experience while in Downtown Toronto, a visit to Kiin is definitely encouraged. With different menus for various times of the day, you are sure to have plenty of options to meet your preferences. Just be sure to budget well before going. Highly recommended!

Had one of the best dine-in experiences here, me and my friend were lucky to be seated at the chefs table. We got to witness how hardworking and focused the team was working together from the kitchen to the service team from afar. Their whole team really puts their heart and attention to detail to each dish, it was entertaining watching them. They really engaged and took the time to educate their clients down to the ingredients, best ways to eat a certain dish and even down to how its crafted. We were lucky enough to even have a personal conversation with the chef himself. They delighted us with a nice surprise dish that went beyond and elevated our experience. Food was beautiful, phenomenal and delicious, one of the best Thai foods I had ever had. Will be visiting again, been raving to all my friends and family about this place.

The experience was amazing, food was all around great, props to the kitchen for sending out good quality Thai food and the servers for being knowledgeable in the menu, being responsive quick and telling us there opinions which made the experience so much more, definitely coming back

I was expecting a bit more for a just announced add to the Michelin guide in Toronto. Soup was tepid (is it how it's supposed to be?), although very tasty. Remained dishes were just good.

Amazing food, I wish they had more vegan options, and made their vegan options on the pre-fixe menu available on a la carte!

Went Sunday morning for the Kiin Cafe Brunch and were glad we did. I tried the Pandan-Butterfly Pea Latte and my better half had the Cha Ma Nao (Thai lime tea) both were delicious. I had the KHAI KRATHA a tasty Thai spin on sausage and eggs. The Thai crullers were a tasty surprise. The KHAO MOO GROB tempted me with the smell of crispy pork belly with steamed rice. Should have ordered the mini donuts, but we had to run. We will return for dinner, and Brunch another day!

Bonus, free street parking before 1 on Sundays.

Wonderful service and experience with Kiin. I went here to celebrate an anniversary and had the Royal Thai Sumrab tasting. The food was delicious! Such a variety of flavours and the presentation was spectacular! It is so much food so come hungry.

The atmosphere was great, but the space was quite tight. The service was slow because there was a very large table; however, that was understandable.

They made us feel special as they gave us complimentary bubbles to celebrate such a special occasion!

The management team is fantastic as I had reached out about some problems after. They are quick to respond and resolved my issues. Thank you Kiin team and hope to dine with you again.

I ordered the Owliang and Jhok for breakfast. For dessert I got the mango doughnuts. Everything was great. Can’t get enough of the housemade chicken meatballs and Thai crullers. The people working here are so friendly. I love that they also play Thai music. I am a huge fan of Sek Loso เสก โลโซ. The reason why I give it 4 out of 5 stars was because there was too much raw ginger in the Jhok. I can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of our time at Kiin. Sitting at the chef's table, we got to watch the magic in the kitchen and chat with the head chef Daniel who was so warm and welcoming and passionate about food. The owner Jeff was so hospitable, we felt like we were in his home. The executive chef Nuit was so humble and sweet you don't even realize she's as famous and accomplished as she is. The bartender Jeff made the most amazing drinks. Our server Wonita was so happy and attentive, we felt so important and taken care of. I haven't even started about the food. We had the vegan tasting menu and every dish was beautiful and tasty. And considering the level and quantity of food we got, the price was very reasonable. We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate our one year. We left with our bellies and hearts full. Thank you Kiin. We will be recommending you to everyone we know!

Kiin is a Thai restaurant owned by the same people who run Pai, but it’s focused on fine Thai dining and royal Thai cuisine. They serve dishes that are not commonly found in other Thai places, and they present them in a beautiful and artistic way. The restaurant’s decor is cozy and elegant, and the service is impeccable. They have dishes like flower dumplings, betel leaf wraps, and crispy rice salad that are colorful and flavorful. They also have a signature dish called khao yum, which is a rice dish with herbs, flowers, and coconut dressing. It’s fragrant and refreshing, and you can mix it to your liking. I was impressed by the presentation and the taste of their dishes, but I also found some of them to be too mild or bland for my preference. I like spicy food, and some of their dishes lacked the kick that I was looking for. They also don’t serve some of the classic Thai drinks like Thai iced tea or Thai coffee, which I missed. The prices are also on the high end, so it’s not a place that I would go to often. The one dish that I absolutely loved was their deep fried wonton, which was crispy and savory, and came with a sweet and sour sauce. It was perfect and I wanted more of it. I would recommend Kiin if you are looking for a different and sophisticated Thai experience
