Killarney Mountain Lodge & Conference Centre

I really respect the investments in the properties but I just have to be honest… I liked it better when it was a simple Canadian lodge experience. I also miss Andy in the Carousel… a huge part of the experience. Wish this place had frozen in time… that was the appeal for us.

My wife and I were planning our wedding here - unfortunately couldn't go through due to COVID. However the folks here were great to work with, very helpful and friendly, the property is beautiful, and the catered food we tried during the tasting was amazing. Would consider planning an event here in a heartbeat!

Très jolie complexe. Bel environnement au milieu de la nature. Un endroit hors du temps avec de jolie couche de soleil. Une belle piscine et la nourriture servi y est très bonne.
Malheureusement cela est un peu gâché par les employées ainsi que le service que je qualifierai de nul voir inexistant. Sourires forcés, pleins d’erreurs commises pendant le service. Personnel vraiment ps aimable et serviable. Nous avions demandé un lit parapluie pour notre bébé mais rien n’était mis dans la chambre. Obligé de le réclamer 3 fois à l’accueil. Chambre type « cabane » très petite, pas de clim et il y fait très très chaud en journée c’est irrespirable. Au vu du prix on s’attend à ce que le ménage soit fait tous les jours mais non seulement tous les 3 jours. Le minium dans le logement juste pour se doucher rien d’autre. Je trouve ça honteux au vu du prix. Le rapport qualité prix zéro. En pleins travaux en pleine saison estivale donc du bruit toute la journée à partir de 7h même le week end… Payer autant une chambre pour un service médiocre une honte. Heureusement que l’environnement autour rattrape car c’est la chose de bien finalement.

The one must do on the bucket list. The Killarney Mountain Lodge is a legend in the beautiful Village of Killarney. Surrounded by the White quartz mountains. It's Vistas are outstanding. The food is spectacular and the service is above par. We stay at Killarney Mountain Lodge generally by securing Mooring for our sailboat. The Carousel Lounge is definitely a must do if you're at the lodge.

Complex of rooms and small apartments on Lake Ontario, in Killarney. The location is excellent, with a beautiful view of the lake and was a short walk from the town. The rooms are small, with noisy air conditioning. It is always on even in empty nearby rooms. The bathroom is small and does not have a hairdryer. The staff are friendly and efficient, but the service is poor. The internal restaurant has a sparse and unchanged menu.

We were touring Ontario in a RV and this caught our eye, crazy 80km road with some nice hikes, Killarney was a sleepy little town but worth the drive

This place was so much fun. My amazing wife took me away on a surprise trip. Great hiking and nature all around you. There were a few wrinkles along the way but to great things outweighed them.

Stayed here for two nights with my wife and two dogs in a Georgian Bay Cabin. Cabin was clean and perfect for us and our two dogs. The resort was very dog friendly and we took our two boys on to their patios and extensively hiked in and around the park. Easy to get to the Killarney PP office from the resort as well. Staff were all friendly and were beyond nice to our dogs. Fantastic stay.

Stayed for 2 nights and had a fantastic stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the amenities on site. We stayed in the Cabin lodge rooms and were very happy. The rooms were spacious enough for 2, clean, comfy and we appreciated the fridge. We had a great view and the Muskoka chairs right outside our door were a lovely touch.

Highly recommend a stay at this place when you are in Kilarney. We hope to visit again one day!

Good place to get away. Rooms are great, country but modern. Warning no wifi in the rooms. The concept is that you disconnect. In reality everyone in my group just used their phone hot spots at night to connect. Just add wifi please. Staff are very nice. The food is decent, not quite then quality I'd like to see but it's good.

Beautiful place and area. I was hoping for herbies fish but the salads and desert was good.

This place was amazing. Mary and Noemie at the front desk were very helpful with answering all questions and giving us suggestions for a great stay. Our king suite was spotless and simply beautiful. The view was perfect from the porch. Sydney was really impressive with her guest service and beverage knowledge She was attentive and funny, making us feel welcome. Dinner was fabulous Olivia took good care of us. The restaurant was very busy but that didn't effect her service one bit! Breakfast was beautiful on the patio but really hot. Our server Lauren had her running shoes and smile on! It looked like everyone on the resort showed up for breakfast at the same time but that didn't raddle her. Her smile never left her face. The portions for breakfast are hearty and the coffee delicious. The GM was around checking in on guest and jumping in to clear tables and help staff whenever it was needed. The team was outstanding with their positivity, if the place was on fire they would never show it! Thank you all for making our anniversary unforgettable.

We are repeat visitors doing an annual gentleman's trip and extreamly disappointed to see that room rates a doubled this year. We were shocked that our little one season bunkie was so expensive now. The restaurant service was a very disappointing, we ordered breakfast for 4 and it took over and hour and and a half. We were the first in the restaurant and others slowly came in. We got pushed aside because of a group for vacation property reviews (10) sat down after us, the kitchen decided were a priority and let us sit and wait and wait. An offer of a discount would have been nice if the priority was the group.

Enjoyed my chartered boat experience though the web site is very misleading. The web site showed a much newer and nicer boat than the one we got. A bit deceiving but it was a good time nonetheless. The restaurant at the lodge has tasty options and you can eat on the patio with your dog which is nice. Not a lot of choices for someone with Celiac disease (if you have to eat gluten-free) but I appreciated at least having something safe.

We only stopped by for old time sake. The last time that I was there I was 14 some 66 years ago and the only way in was by boat or sea plane. It was beautiful then and still is.

Killarney Mountain Lodge is a wonderful place to enjoy either a quiet or adventurous holiday. There are many opportunities for young and old to keep themselves busy. In my opinion, the food is world class, everything we ate was very tasty, fresh and the price/performance ratio was right. We had absolutely no complaints about the service as it was always very friendly and accommodating. I don't think I have to write anything about the ambience and location, just look at the pictures and judge for yourself.
Despite all the positive experiences and impressions, I unfortunately have to write something negative. The hotel management should urgently think about renovating the bedrooms (cabins) and, above all, insulating them (not only heat, but also soundproofing). The windows are single-glazed, the walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbor turning in bed. Still highly recommended and definitely worth a trip.

Had a great time here over last spring. Nice room and able to accommodate our dog. The food especially stood out, better than any fine dining we've had in Toronto.

Beds never changed nor room cleaned. The cabin is slanted and thus the bed also on a slant. Bathroom is only the toilet and a 24 inch by 24 inch plastic $99 shower stall. The sink is outside the bathroom in the main bedroom with no place to put toiletries as there is no counter space. No refrigerator or chilling station to maintain cold drinks or leftover food. No closet space but a few hooks behind the cabin door. NOT A QUAINT CABIN! OVERPRICED!
