Killbear Marina

We had a me mechanical issues with our boat and went to Killbear Marina for assistance. Repairs that would normally take two weeks were completed in 2 days. The manager, Walt kept us well informed and the entire team assisted us during our stay. We truly enjoyed the restaurant and service we received and ended up staying an extra day.

Walt and his team are exceptional. Period. Wonderful, caring customer service. There's a nice little restaurant on the property and a small convenience store and a whole boat yard with competent mechanics for any repair you may need. We got our shaft pulled at Killbear Marina, and we're still smiling.

Just wanted to say thank you so much to the mechanics that fixed my boat. I think they have a crystal ball! The mechanic knew instantly what the problem was and grabbed the part. 15 minutes later my boat is running again. Honest and hardworking. Thanks again.

Stayed here overnight. Clean, friendly staff. WIFI sucked on the docks. Food a little expensive.

Only stopped in for a couple blocks of ice but was met with pleasant service. Had a look around the well stocked nautical and convenience shop and was impressed with the inventory. Will be my go to for goods when needed while camping at Killbear Park.

All staff members so pleasant friendly and helpful! Evan was on cleaning duties of the washroom/shower facilities and did an amazing job each time! These facilities are one of the nicest!

Great service, friendly staff. They helped us land our boat and helped us off the dock the next day. The slip for the night was a very fair price and included hydro and water. Diesel is available here. One of the few marinas that offers this fuel.

Walt at Killbear Marina helped us out today. We needed some mechanical assistance, he called us back in a timely fashion, offered us some solutions to try and got us running again. Then he also helped us again when we came into the marina for gas as the situation happened again. He boarded the boat, worked on fixing it and got us on our way! Great service! Thank you so much!

Kilbear Marina is in a well protected location. Very clean, docks are in great shape and the help is amazing. Walt is always there to help or answer any questions, the gas dock helpers are very friendly and take pride in their jobs and keep the facilities looking great. Would highly recommend Kilbear Marina for service, storage, fuel and all around amazing customer service. Keep up the great work. The Store always has fresh products on hand and great ice cream. The restaurant attached, The Fat Sparrow, has fantastic food. Cheers

A great stop on our trip! We might have been a little too large for our slip but it worked out well. We even considered a seasonal spot for next summer but it's just a little too far for us to get to. We'll definitely go back

A change of ownership has given a breath of new life to the marina. The staff was both very friendly and attentive to our requirements.

A place to visit the restaurant is awesome everything fresh and top quality and they have stone crock from St Jacob supplying bake good and meat, is a stop for everyone in Parry Sound area

A well-run marina in a quiet bay close to Killbear Provincial Park. The new owners have put a great guy in charge. Walt is on top of everything and always helpful.

My family ordered fish and chips as well as a hamburger. The food tasted great and the service was super. However, for $40 (excluding tax and tip) they need to add fries to the burger, make the burger bigger (it was like a kid's size) and add more fries to the fish. Otherwise, everything was great including the location and cleanliness.

My favorite marina on the East shore of Georgian Bay. Always prompt service at the dock. Diesel, gasoline, pumpout, potable water, showers, beautiful chandlery, travel-lift.

Under new management it seems in 2019. Food quality is excellent under supervision of Chef Derek Mayes. Large portion of Halibut lightly breaded. Seafood chowder excellent. Fresh large chunck fries. Friendly staff. Recommended if you visit Killbear Park or area.
