Great and cozy place to get Korean food with a small group of friends! The food was tasty here and the service was friendly

I recommend the pork bone soup, beef fried dumplings, and the kimchi pancake. Great to share and tasty.

Great family style Korean restaurant. You will see an "ajoomma"
running the whole place and serving all the customers, literally a one woman show, and yet she is always friendly and service with a smile, just like your mom would.
The price is reasonable, and food is in good healthy serving. Definitely would go back again if I want some Korean food.

I stumbled into this place after a local recommendation and cannot wait to come again. Dirt cheap. No frills. Delicious food. We had the stew, but every table had a variety of orders which suggested a high level of execution. The crumbed pork was flying out of the kitchen and seemed to be the most popular. Sides were standard.

Not the worst experience but definately does not stand out. The prices on the food weren't that bad and the portions are pretty big but the staff was pretty slow and not the best. When it came to paying, it was difficult as they don't split bills or anything. The food itself was mediocre at best. The chicken dish that you see in the photo comes with just one small bowl of rice at it costed 20 dollars! It's crazy to think about the prices these days. Maybe worth a one time try but definately not more than once.

As far as I’m concerned, this restaurant is the best restaurant at least in Korean town. Not only the quantity & quality but the tastes, to me the best in this area. I’m a big fan of many places in Korean town but Kimchi House serves fine taste dishes even though a little bit pricy than other places but if you don’t feel any differences between here and the others, Idk what to say.perhaps we can’t be friends each other.lol Honestly, everything I tried was very delicious but especially stew (Jeongol), deep fried stuff, mind blowing guys. Different batter compared to other restaurants, Fresh and juicy meats, the sauce…if you don’t like them, Idk you just have become my enemy. Lol jk Seriously, they are really good.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family even strangers.

Can always rely on this place for homey Korean food that is reasonably priced. Their pork cutlet portions are also huge.

Cheese Tonkatsu - Pork cutlet stuffed with stretchy, chewy mozzarella cheese, a moist interior, and a subtle, Japanese-style curry sauce on top for a guilty, fulfilling bite. What wouldn't be good if you sandwiched cheese in between them?

Gamjatang - A guilty pleasure of fall apart, fatty pork bones in a savoury and spicy broth served with a side of rice to soak up all that flavourful broth.

I started going to this korean restaurant when I was in my last year in highschool and had a spare after lunch, I went here by myself and I know people think its sad to eat by yourself but I enjoyed it so much more than I thought so I came here more often sometimes eating in or pick up but the food is amazing like genuinely they have so many dishes that are not offered at other korean restaurants like the grilled mackerel and miso stew which is probably my favourite thing to order. My dad really likes the fish roe/egg drop stew. 10/10 recommend I hope to go there when I start my first year of uni:)

I haven't eaten here for several years, the food and service still good, and friendly.

The taste of Korean food is really good. The portion is generous. I was moved every time I ate it.
I want to have three meals a day here. ^^

Firstly, let me start by saying that the spicy beef and octopus hot pot was an incredibly flavorful and satisfying dish. The combination of tender beef and chewy octopus in a spicy broth is definitely one that would leave your taste buds tingling.

In addition to the food, the staff at the restaurant were good too. They were attentive and accommodating.i would highly recommend it if anyone wants to go to a Korean restaurant.

Have to wait a while after you order, however I believe this restaurant is one of the best in Korea town, foods are delicious and price are friendly we came several times already.

Food here is great, but they won't let you split the bill between a party. We were there on a Sunday night, the restaurant was mostly empty and still they wouldn't allow us to pay separately.

Worst service ever. The staff is so rude. I have been there plenty of time. But last night. It was more then enough. Their services are keep getting worst. The staff was rude and behaved in-appropriate way.
For sure, i’m not going to this place again.

I make a point to eat here everytime I am in Toronto. It is my favourite Korean ever. I have come here numerous times with friends and family and everyone has always loved it. Every single thing I have tried on the menu is absolutely delicious and they have THE BEST side dishes. The menu is large so there are plenty of options for anyone. Do yourself a favour and come here for awesome Korean food:)
