Kin Sushi - North York

So I usually don't post reviews, but I had to with this place. These guys always never disappoint when I order Takoyaki. What's so dope about this place is that they say each order come with 5 pieces but they actually include 7 pieces. Main reason why I'm writing this review is so people know they include extra pieces, and its standard that give extra with Takoyaki. They also taste really good and it's always fresh.

I am in love with this restaurant. Their sushi platter is so delicious and mouth watering. They have variety of options for people who don’t eat seafood.

The quality of it was good. The staff were also friendly and the atmosphere of the store was good. Among the maki I've eaten in Toronto, it was so delicious that I remember it.

This sushi spot is seriously the GOAT! Every bite, I'm hooked on the fresh fish and killer rolls. With the young, energetic chefs and chill servers, not to mention those one-of-a-kind dishes, they just took my regular day up a notch, lol.

Pretty standard rolls, but the chicken karaage don is drenched in tonkatsu sauce, so if you're not a fan of that sour and tangy flavour, don't order it.

The level of this restaurant is far below compared with their prices. 3 simple rolls: tuna, salmon and eel 6pcs each made my bill $32.56. Everything is overpriced: service is below the ground, foods are average and tables don't even have a tablecloth, the floor is finished with super slippery tiles the path to the washroom is dirty and blocked with stuff.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with 3 friends. I ordered the energy special roll (dynamite roll with unagi and avocado), one friend ordered the sushi and tempura lunch bento, and my two other friends ordered the sushi and sashimi lunch bento. I loved the energy roll; it was really delicious and the portion was good. My friend who ordered the sushi and tempura bento said that he liked his food, but I'm taking off 1 star from this review because the two friends who ordered the sushi and sashimi bentos said that their food tasted just okay and the fish wasn't that fresh.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The menu prices are reasonable. The interior decor is nice and the restaurant has a decent amount of seating. I'm interested in coming back here to try other items from the special rolls menu.

Our go-to place when we're craving for sushi/rolls. Besides of being tasty, it's also nearby our place. Very convenient. Love the FREE miso soup!

This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the city. As someone who can't eat raw fish, I always opt for their insanely good Oishi torched salmon sushi and shrimp tempura, which are so delicious that I could eat them every day. I'm literally drooling as I write this review. Additionally, the servers are always very friendly.

Worst $90 spent. Service was decent but the food quality can’t be overlooked. My husband and I ordered:
1. Tuna Tataki
2. Negitoro Oshi
3. Ebi Oshi
4. Sushi & Sashimi Combo

1. The tataki was practically fully cooked, the saving grace would be the delicious sauce
2 & 3. Decent taste but too much rice with a thin layer of fish on top
4. Presentation was awful, cuts were too large and the rice had no taste. We ate 3 pieces of the 18 on the plate and could not stomach the rest

Sushi was really good, the menu is extensive so it was to choose what we wanted but everything we got was really good. If you're a garlic girl, get the garlic mayo for your sushi on the side. Game changer!

Very tasty and fresh. The lion roll wasn't my favourite; however, it was fresh and still tasty. The Philly roll was my favourite.

I have ordered from this place many times and it has been amazing. I went to dine-in today and had the worst experience. They were busy so asked me to put in my name for wait list. I waited over 1hr and no one bothered to call. When i went in to find out what’s happening, they seemed clueless. One waitress offered me a table. Another waitress comes and says it isn’t for us. Totally disappointed and disrespectful. They were serving tables to people who came way past us as we were outside and saw them entering after us. I am never going back

A nice local sushi shop. I went with 8 friends and it was easy to make reservations. They have an extensive menu of over 50 sushi options. The prices are reasonable, I had the 6 piece sushi oshi for about 15 after tax. The food was quick and good. My friends also had spring rolls and tempura which no one complained about.

I'd recommend this place for a quick bite or takeout as the dishes are filling and consistent.

Very happy with our visit to Sushi Kin! The prices are reasonable and the rolls are good sized and packed with fish - not too much filler! Would recommend staying away from the spicy rolls, they're swimming in a rich sauce and not all that spicy. Instead, just get a basic tuna or salmon roll and let the fish be centre stage. Lovely. Will happily be back!

Got pretty bad food poising overnight after having sushi delivered by Uber. It the evening of the following day and I’m still on the toilet

I’ve ordered food from Kin sushi through ubereats a few times. The quality of food is amazing. Always fresh and tasty. Very happy with their service every time.

Regular customers of Kin Sushi. Ordered dinner for NYE, tried to call it in and then visited in person and placed an order in order to avoid any problems. Sadly, they didn't include 3 miso soups, 3 salads, or any soy sauce and wasabi. Called into them upon discovering the missing items, their solution was to give us ONE soup on the house next time? Tried e-mailing the next day at the very least asking for a reimbursement on principle- was offered 20% off the next order or ONE free soup upon our next visit. In addition to the inconvenience caused, the expectation is that we now come back and spend more just to get one of the six items that I paid for but you failed to include? Disappointing and will never visit again.

The sushi was good but maybe a bit on the pricey side. Overall a good value. Staff was friendly and restaurant was clean.

Very fast service and the sushi was amaizing. They actually put big prices of salmon in the rolls.
