Its need an upgrde
Bowls are getting older, shoes provided are torn dont know if shoes are sanitized.

Most important dont know if there is a bug or its intentionally comfigure the pins alignment some time get stuck and waste time

Same issues as others.
No table cleaning, 40 min for drink service at lanes, spark lanes not working for 1/3 of time, then malfunctioning the remainder of time.
The reason we were given.when all spark lanes are full, some won't work.
No leadership there to talk about the problem. No blame on the young staff there.they were embarrassed and apologetic.

Booked 2 lanes here. The lanes would often malfunction and we would have to use the service button for assistance. Service wait times were upwards of 10 minutes, causing our group to lose time for our booking. The staff that did assist were very helpful.

Booked 2 lanes. One of the lanes had constant issues with the lane getting stuck. Wasted 20 minutes of our time just from waiting for it to unstuck. Other lane had issues with pins coming down already knocked over. Asked for service 4 times and no one ever came.

Good and drinks were great and the bar tender don’t know her name but was super nice. Me and my 3 friends went for Halloween since we didn’t have any real plans. Pay 80$ and bowl, 3 turns in and it breaks down we wait 10 mins for someone to come over after the screen says someone will come, we tell them and after another 15 we switched. Bowl another round and it breaks down, we are a solid hour now of on and off bowling and it’s getting late. They give us a voucher which was nice but we honestly didn’t wanna come back. Superviser was understanding but pretty confrontational considering I was very calm and polite. They said cause we were a walk in we couldn’t get a refund but then proceeded to say she can’t even give refunds so idk seems a lil backwards. Honestly I just want the 80$ back cause I’ve been going there all my life to the splash pad and I even volunteered in high school for the summer camp for 3 summers so this was very disheartening personally.

The bowling area was quite dirty. The balls were past their best before sates. I think lane 2 was not completely level.

Staff seemed a little unsure of what to say or do with larger groups, however they were very polite and helpful to guests. The atmosphere was quite good and the bowling met expections with no problems. Overall not a bad experience and would recommend as a nice weekend or even weekday event for friends or family.

Came for a work event. Lots of lanes available, machines working well. Appetizer platters are tasty, pizzas were fresh and quick from ordering. Employees were also very friendly and provided excellent service

TL;DR: if you bowl for sport, these aren't the lanes for you.

I decided to give Kingpin Bowlounge a try after I was unable to get a lane over at AMF Frederick on a Monday night. This facility is clearly catered more towards events and parties, so as a regular bowler I knew I was taking a risk but the lanes were significantly worse than expected.

There was absolutely no oil on the lanes and, judging by the condition of them, there never has been. This makes it impossible for anyone who throws with a curve to keep the ball on the lane, completely ruining the game.

The lack of oil was enough for me to never come back to this facility as a semi-competitive bowler, but the overall poor maintenance of the bowling machinery would turn me away as a casual bowler. The pinsetters and ball returns were extremely slow, something that wouldn't be as much of an issue if I paying per game instead of ~$50 for an hour of bowling. The worst part is these issues are relatively easy to resolve with proper maintenance, so it's clear that ownership just doesn't care enough to properly maintain their facilities. It's a shame as it's a modern bowling alley that could have potential.

The food was okay, but the soda was really watered down.

Waste of money and the staff there were very rude and unprofessional, we’ve told them three times that our lane is not working, but they are saying that its your bad luck if the lanes are not working. We had a talk with the guy Vijesh, rather than helping us he responded very aggressively and keep fighting. Even the manager didn’t help us. He said they can’t compensate us for the time being wasted after keep switching different lanes. Please do the proper maintenance of your machines. It’s not worth the amount they charged the customers.

Food, service, good. Bowling lanes need to be repaired. And their system is slow. Not worth the price. Slow machines. Less time to play.

The bumpers kept coming up, tries getting refund for the second hr we paid for.no refunds but they gave us a coupon for free bowling for 5 people for an hour that doesn't expire for a year

I keep giving kingpin a chance, I worked there many years ago and keep coming back to have the same experience and service as we did many years ago. However it seems like the more we go, the worse it gets, I took my family for bowling and dinner last night, long story short there was not much of dinning as we went 40 min without anyone serving us, my kids were hungry wondering why Noone had even come to asked us if we wanted water. All of these while the manager or supervisor is at the bar just having a chat with the servers.
We ended our bad experience by leaving our overpriced lanes without even finishing the time and taking our kids to the nearest restaurant, as they were starving and tired of waiting. Sadly can't say I will ever go back.
Did I mentioned we were literally the only people there?

Made reservations and we were placed on the wrong lanes. Shoes were not available in my kids sizes. The lanes kept breaking and there are dirty dishes and mess at every lane

Front desk has a lot of workers, but no one to help. Bowling is insanely overpriced! They also did not clean the previous people's plates and drinks so we were sitting at a dirty bowling table.even though they told us to go to that lane. Unfortunately, service was slow and everything too expensive.

Rude staff, no flexible, unnecessary expense.
Can find better place for better price

The restaurant is good, the same quality I would expect of any Boston Pizza.
The bowling wasn't working as expected. It was both us and another family close by and we were both having issues with our lanes. Theirs just stopped working, ours wouldn't let us use the bumbers.
I'm sure we'll come back, it just could be better

Kinda rude, don't really care for the black folks, the Indian guy out front has a very bad attitude. Would not recommend

What an amazing place, full of fun for everyone. My kids love this place. Bowling is huge and arcade as well. Recommended for all.

Barely any help at front desk: minimal information or directions. They didn’t put the bumper rails up like we asked there was a lot of waiting (30 mins) for someone to show up and another walk to front desk to ask for it yet again.

The people at the end had a group of 13 year olds screaming at the top of their lungs and recording on their phones (it’s a small area with only 6 lanes), the people next to us got food and spilled it onto the only table we had for our kid to use. Not a great experience, waaaaayyyy overpriced, and not cosmic/glow in dark.

Update: people next to use stole the rail to assist our 5 year old with bowling with balls that are too big for her to use. Wish I could get our money back. The shoes are gross and keep falling off our little one.
UPDATE2: it was old food, wasn’t the neighbouring lanes! Ew
Towne Bowl is quieter and not overpriced.

Lanes kept breaking and bumper rails kept popping up randomly. We spoke to staff and did get moved to another lane but the bumper issues continued. We also ate at Boston pizza and used the app for rewards but waitress forgot to remove charge. Also ordered 2 fishbowl drinks and didn’t receive them, instead smaller specialty drinks. Daughter explained and got her fishbowl drink but found a fruit fly in it. We have been coming to Bingemans for years and this was our first Boston pizza experience in Waterloo. NEVER AGAIN.

The arcade games really need to be fixed.most of the claw games do not have the power in the jaws to close on anything. 100% fixed games. Avoid like the plague

Honestly the experience is okay. Everytime I go there the alley has delays or gets clogged up at least 3 times per hour. Other than that it's a great place to take your family!

We went on a Wednesday night to celebrate a birthday. BP and KP were under staffed so it was a slow start and we waited 30 minutes. However, our waitress was fantastic! The food was excellent. (I had a rack of ribs.) Since KP wasn't really busy they delayed our bowling until we were ready. This turned a poor beginning into a great night. I had reservations for the "Spark" lanes. We had a great time interacting with the video games on the bowling lanes. Two hours of bowling seemed like a few minutes. Thanks staff for turning things around. We appreciated all your efforts. We will be back.

Absolutely terrible service. We went late on a Saturday night after playing mini golf. There appeared to be more staff than customers, and yet, we waited more than 15 mins to even have our drink order taken. We had to literally leave our table to find someone or go to the bar every time we wanted something. When we asked for assistance we got a lot of attitude. The bathrooms were filthy, clearly not cleaned at any point in recent history. I will never go back there and if they continue to operate in this fashion they are not going to last long.
