This was my young teen grandson's first visit & he wanted a very specific look. Betis did a beautiful job & adapted the style requested to my grandson's hair texture. The reception staff was gracious & the coffee was excellent - overall a great experience!

Worst haircut experience ever. The barber ignored my request to do a 1 on the sides and back and instead told me to trust him - when I said I wanted to go shorter he told me there wasn’t time and was extremely rude about it. Never would pay another dime to this place.

I was on a quick business trip to Toronto and needed a rest while my wife was doing some shopping. What better way then to get a shave and a hair cut. I walked in initially to look at some shaving cream and was welcomed right away. I purchased a recommendation from the hostess and jumped into the barbers seat.

Fatima was an amazing barber, great conversation and amazing quality cut. Very reasonably priced and great environment. I was even served coffee whole in the chair. That was a first for me. I won't be stressing to get a hair cut before a business trip to Toronto again, I will just get one while in town. Thanks again for letting me relax and get a great shave and cut.

Great place for a haircut. Provided my advice for my hair-type that I've yet to hear from other barbers and offered a complimentary drink of your choice. The staff are friendly/professional and the environment is nice and clean (sometimes an issue at other barber shops).

Highly recommend the "Noble Cut" which includes a short massage. Well worth the money and time. Will be coming back again for this or the "Monarch Massage".

Hands down, i received the best haircut of my life at King’s Crown! Betis was amazing in his work, and really took his time with every single cut. Up to that point I had never seen someone as meticulous and professional as Betis. If you want a well done, professional haircut then come to Kings Crown (you won’t be disappointed). Fatima is also the best! The three of us had some amazing conversations. If i could give this place more than 5 stars i genuinely would! Even the ladies at the reception were amazing and kind. I felt as if the people who work at this establishment we’re not just colleagues but family!

You also get a nice key chain at the end of your cut (it’s definitely worth it)!

Amazing service and hospitality, Fatima did a wonderful job. She had never cut my hair prior yet despite not knowing my hair lines and cowlicks she was able to masterfully navigate my scalp in a way that never created hard edges or uneven volume. My hair is now wonderfully blended and I feel like a king! 10/10

I tried to get same day appointment and my usual guys were unavailable. I ended up booking with Betis and he was awesome! Getting a cut from a new barber often makes me anxious but that quickly went away with Betis. Within minutes I was able to relax as it was obvious that he knew what he was doing with clear attention to detail. Even a week later I'm really liking the way it's growing out. Will definitely repeat, thanks Betis!

My 5yr old son needed a cut badly and we live near Bayview Village so I decided to try King's Crown. They were able to accommodate us without an appointment. Hovig was so great with my son. He made him feel comfortable by asking him questions and striking up a conversation with him. Everyone in the shop is really friendly and makes you feel welcome. When it came to getting his next cut my son said I want to back to King's Crown to see Hovig. I think her name is Bernadette, she was so sweet with my son and the reception was also really great. They even have a kid's toy chest that they can pick out a little toy after. I also liked the fact that I was able to book online. The overall experience was great. They also give great cuts. I've tried other shops and this place was the one that gave my son the kind of cut that we liked. The barbers are well trained.

They did an awesome job of taking care of me and my toddler. I feel so welcomed being there. They were very patient with my two year son. He tends to be fuzzy around the hair clippers, but the staff took breaks between so my son would calm down. They exceed my expectations, and I'll be definitely coming back.

There is no other place to get my son's and husband's haircut done in Toronto. I've already tried several other places near my house and I always ended up coming back to King's Crown, even though I have to drive 30/45 minutes to get there. Barbers are SUPER professional, staff are SUPER friendly, and the environment is SUPER nice! They always look amazing after each haircut. It is worth the time and the money! If you have never been there, you should try it!

Whilst the haircut was good, $30 for a kids haircut is 50% above the going rate in the area. That may be OK with some people but I wouldn't come back unless I was in a real bind

This is my my 4th haircut at this shop. They are skilled, friendly and welcoming in a professional and courteous manner. I'll be back for a beard service soon. Warning: they're not cheap. Those days are probably gone for good.

We worked with Tim and Morgan, and the work they did was beautiful! Our space is transformed and such a statement with our accent walls but even more than that, they were so fantastic to work with. Super kind and willing to work with you to get your vision! I highly recommend them!

Awesome! If you're all about beards, this is the place to go! Great service, great quality and relatively good prices! A basic trim will set you back about 20$ but on the bright side, you get a free water, coffee, or tea when you visit! If you're willing to spend a little extra, enjoy a beer or wine from the drinks menu and make the experience one to remember!

One of the best Barber shops in North York area. They have many services for men and women although it is more towards the male clients. Really friendly staff and they are really skilled. They also have many products from hair Care and grooming to wallets and more. You can book an appointment through phone or their online website. The service is one-time and if you get there early you will be offered coffee and drinks. If you like you can even get a whiskey or other drinks too. Definitely suggest you to pay them a visit. The prices are listed on their online booking portal too with the amount of time you should expect for that service.

Ive been going here for over a year now and will continue for years to come. The staff is fantastic and make it a very personal experience. The management checks in on every customer to make sure they are not needing anything. Great modern barber shop with classic traditions. A variety of options for beard trimming, haircuts, etc. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

Used to get regular haircuts here till about a year ago before i switched barbers, this place used to be really decent and classy all around.
The cut i had today with Simon however made me not wanting to set foot in there again even if i had to.
The actual manager of this place kept leaning next to my chair talking with my barber for 10 minutes of my 15 minute haircut. The other 5 minutes my barber kept talking to the intern or trainee that was there, And lucky for me there was just enough time for him to be bothered finish my haircut, all the while he was looking away as he was cutting my hair.
Oh and you know how it’s common manners not to speak in your native language when the other person in the room doesn’t speak it? Especially if that other person is a customer in your shop? These people haven’t heard of it.
At the end i was so frustrated and embarrassed i just wanted to leave that place i opted out of my hairwash.
I feel like being scammed out of $45.

Perfect cut, what I want from past two year I got here, that guy did awesome job, I would like to suggest to other, If you care about your hairstyle, Go there and get the experience. You ll defenetely go again.

What a great experience image my surprise when I was offered a high quality scotch while I wait, and great service

Coming in to this salon, I had high expectations based on online ratings and reviews I read.
Unfortunately my experience was not the greatest.
First, the coffee that I had asked for before my haircut started was never brought to me. I had to ask for it (again) at the end of my haircut, and it was then brought to me, cold.
The haircut itself by the way, which was done by Benjamin, was great. He appeared to be new to the salon, but he visibly made an effort to make me feel comfortable.
Sadly I cannot say the same about the employee who did my hand and scalp massage (I went in for the Noble cut). She often looked away from my hand as she was filing my nails (which resulted in her lacerating my skin very close to the nail bed with the filing tool), and she even fully stopped twice in the middle to chat with another barber who was getting his haircut. Overall I was left feeling like I was the least of her concerns.
Due to the price of the package, and the quality of Benjamin's haircut, I give this place 4 stars. Sadly, I cannot give it more than that.

When I entered the store, I felt rushed to get through the whole process as quickly as possible. I guess it was because I had an 8: 15pm appointment and they wanted to close the store early (for 9pm).

I have never been to kings crown so they never walked me through the process, I. E the difference between a noble cut or regular cut. They only asked me if I wanted additional services AFTER my horrific experience with the haircut. At which point, I felt thoroughly off put by the whole experience.

My barber, treated me coldly and got me into the chair as quickly as possible. He made me hold my glasses, which in 30 years of getting a hair cut I have never had to do (and not something you should have to do for a $40 haircut). He made very, very little effort for small talk. He cut my hair, both top, sides and back with clippers. He started to use scissors, but they looked so dull he just gave up on them. Clippers were used for everything.

He rushed through my haircut in about 8 minutes (even though the cut itself is supposed to take 25 minutes) and quickly washed my hair. In the process of washing my hair he splashed water into my eyes and left me to solve that problem.

From a sanitary perspective NOTHING was in barbicide, nor looked like anything was ever in it which made me question the sanitary requirements of the shop.

I never received the razor detailing. He pulled out an electric trimmer and cleaned the back of my neck up in 1 second.

Once he finished putting product into my hair he turned the chair quickly and said, "okay you're done. " with the expectation that I should get out of the chair.

Hardly a goodbye and that was that.

I was excited to try this place out from the reviews and the rating it received. Overall it's by and far the WORST haircut experience I have ever had. Ever.

Excellent service and care! Everything was very well done and Simon listened carefully to my preferences and executed perfectly. Felt really great and pampered when I left and I observed that all their clients were treated similarly! Top notch men's grooming studio! I'm glad I found it!

Very disappointed in this place. Service was good offered water or coffee upon entering but the cut itself was lackluster. I asked for a high fade and the barber gave me a 1 on the side and called it a day. The cut itself lasted 15 minutes and the wash was maybe a minute and wasn't anywhere near up to par with my expectations, especially with how much they are charging. I would rate the cut a 1 star, but because of the service I'm giving it a 2 star rating. Never coming back thats for sure.

This is the place that says, leave your significant other at a foofee cafe, (or high end clothing store) and come join your fellow men.

This place is probably the biggest scam. You get charged for a haircut and then charged for a beard trim and then on top of it you get charged again just so they can line it up. I paid $100 just for that and it wasn't even that good. A friend of mine goes to Yorkville to get her hair done and doesn't even come close to paying as much as i did LOL. My regular barber does it all for $22, crazy. You go here if you want to break the bank to get pampered. All these other people in the reviews are talking about service, like getting coffee made and stuff and its so amazing, You're going to get your haircut you're not going to sotto sotto.
